Super amazing environment to work as a designer.
Placements: There are good placements which our college provide. Roles were like Head designer, Assistant designer, work according to project basis are offered. The internship stipend was INR 5000-INR 15000. There is a placement cell, and it is efficient.
Infrastructure: Honestly, it is all perfect. If we have any issues also we can mail them and they do take actions which is the best part that they don't ignore there students. If we talk specifically then we have a lab for all fields, we have good environment art pieces all around, I was a localite, so can't say about hostel, but mess food was really good, it just that you have problems everywhere. But, if they listen you don't have any issues so that's why we were the satisfied students.
Faculty: We have both in-house and visiting faculty members. In the start only we get the schedule of the semester with faculty name and we can research it. And, if we have any queries or bad experience or anything we tell them and then they work accordingly. So, in my four years I didn't face any problems regarding teacher's, methods if we talk about in designing colleges we are open to all studying in the garden, to streets, to conference Hall, no restrictions regarding class or campus. The in-house ratio of faculty members is 5:2 (students: faculty). In 4 years, it is compulsory to document a craft, do an NGO training, Industrial training self projects and even a working culture for last semester.
Other: We do celebrate All kinds of festivals within the campus and do have other things also.

I love the craft based practices in the college and hate the college management.
Placements: The placements completely depend on the student's work, capabilities, understanding, communication skills, and active participation in gaining the knowledge about the process, techniques and concepts. It's like the more you learn, the more you get.
Infrastructure: The campus is average. It is structured as anyone can see its beauty easily in and around the campus. The campus is beautified with the garden and the work of alumni. The students are provided with the different well-conditioned labs like stitching, printing, weaving, wooden, metal, fired (clay), fashion labs, etc., according to their respective specialisation. Students are provided with the good free Wi-Fi facility in the college.
Faculty: The college has experienced faculty members according to the running module. The faculty are good. They are from NID and NIFT. The artisans are provided to the students for the better learning and understanding of the craft according to their respective specialisation.
Other: The foundation day is celebrated on 1st September, Teej party is held by the students in which faculty members and also alumni participate and are served with the delicious dal-baati churma. Monsoon party is celebrated. Janmashtami is celebrated with the dai-hand competition. Independence day, Holi and Lohri are also the part of celebrations in the campus. Fresher's party is also given to the freshers. Convocation is celebrated with the huge hard work and the participation of the whole college, in which many outsiders are invited. In 2017, Chief Minister was invited for honouring the alumini.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Institute make them self-sufficient to find a void and fill it from their ability. 100% of students are placed. Salary package ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month. We choose companies and apply according to our choice, but the college provides the list of companies.
Infrastructure: Institute has all the facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, medical facilities. Labs have all the equipment. We have good hostel rooms. Food provided in the mess with good quality. There are no issues related to any infrastructure. Institute takes care of every need of the students.
Faculty: We get knowledge of hands-on skills. Our faculty are highly experienced and worked in industries for years. Our curriculum is designed by designers and affiliated by the government of Rajasthan. Visiting faculty also come to take classes for a short period.
Other: We celebrate each and every festival with great joy and enthusiasm. Our college also conducts events and conferences every year regarding crafts and design. Each and every student get involved in all activities. The students and faculty members decorate the college.

Other: It is the only college in India providing a platform for craft studies and diagnosis. The college is very much recommended. I did Textiles diploma and it was a huge learning experience for me plus the trips and on field experiences made me understand crafts better and also a better person in some ways. The infrastructure of the college gives us time to spend with nature and appreciate the beauty. About the faculty: I was fortunate enough to get experienced faculties for specific subjects. Most of them were from NID. IICD has got links with social organizations/NGO and export houses for their students to go on and experience the practical world. IICD has fully equipped workshops and studios where students are encouraged to develop concepts and experiment with different materials, processes and techniques. They realize their ideas, make models and prototypes and learn with a hands-on approach to problem solving. The curriculum is designed strategically focusing on the basics first and later on advance techniques. Classroom design projects give us a broader way of thinking and implementing things and designing things accordingly to the need and nature. Hostel facilities are good, mess is also okay. Every festival is celebrated here with great zeal and that is the best thing to learn, unitedness among religion and culture. I would highly recommend this college to everybody who is an art and craft lover and loves to live traditionally in modern times.
