Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM)

FPM is a four-year course offered at the doctoral level. Admission to FPM is based on Graduate Record Examination General Test (GRE) administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), Princeton, USA or GMAT administered by Pearson VUE, Bloomington, USA OR Common Admission Test (CAT)/ JRF scores. Applicants should have a four-year UG degree or a three-year UG and PG degree or equivalent in areas such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or Arts to apply for the FPM course. The eligibility criteria for FPM at ISB Hyderabad is that candidate should have passed a four-year UG/ PG degree. Moreover, the entrance exams accepted for the FPM course include GMAT/ GRE/ CAT or JRF. The duration of the course is for five years.  Yes, Executive FPM is a three-year course offered by the institute. Admission to the Executive-FPM is merit-based. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree to fulfil the minimum eligibility. An MBA or business-focused master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of professional work experience to be eligible. All applicants shortlisted for the course are required to go through an interview round with the admission committee before being able to get the offer. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential with a strong interest in pursuing academic research. ISB Hyderabad hostel fees depends on the type of accommodations. It also depends on the duration of the course you get admission to. For MBA and PGDM courses, the hostel fees ranged between INR 2.89 Lacs and INR 3.95 Lacs for a duration of 12 to 20 months. Please note that this hostel fee is for previous years, and the actual amount might vary. 

ISB Hyderabad provides merit waiver to students pursuing a course. All applicants are automatically considered for the available merit-linked tuition waivers. A waiver of 25%-100% is offered in the tuition fee to the selected students.

Yes, ISB grant tuition waivers, loans, are discounts on the fee. The same is communicated in the admission offer while scholarships are generally granted by other organisations and dependent on students' performance in the course. Additionally, the institute offers living expenses in the form of a monthly scholarship, i.e., INR 55,000 per month to PhD students along with fully furnished free accommodation (shared accommodation for unmarried students and studio for married students) on campus subject to availability. In case on-campus accommodation is not available, an additional allowance of INR 25,000 per month is given towards house rent as per the existing policy.

Considered equivalent to an E-MBA, ISB Hyderabad also offers an 18-month PGPpro course to the students. The course is similar in content and rigour to an Executive MBA course globally. The content is trimmed to the needs of the profile and seniority of the class. PGPpro allows working professionals to complete a world-class course without any opportunity cost as they continue to earn while learning, thereby enabling them to apply their learnings in the workspace. According to media reports, the institute conducted its placement drive of 2023. The average package (mid-80%) offered during placements stood at INR 33.26 LPA. More than 1,500 job offers from 222 companies were made to the PGP batch of 2023. 

Consulting and Technology were the top two sectors during ISB Hyderabad placements. The offer distribution for these two sectors was over 50%.
