In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have
• A Master’s degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Electronic Science/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology, or
• A BE/ B Tech degree or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE or, GRAD-IETE or, DOEACC ’B’ Level).
Selection Procedure A candidate is admitted to this programme through written tests and interviews. A few candidates may be sponsored by government, semi-government, public sector undertakings and autonomous institutions but such candidates will also be admitted through the ISI Admission Test. The Institute at its discretion may apply a different criterion for such candidates. A candidate would be considered sponsored only if he/she is granted leave and full salary by the employer for the entire duration of the programme. Sponsored candidates will not receive any stipend and their sponsors will have to pay a tuition fee of Rs 20,000/- per year.
Instiute Kolkata admission is start with the application process of IEMJEE/ IEMCET entrance exams. Every year the application window for the respective exam starts in the month of Feburary (Tentative). The application process for the academic year 2023 have been completed for the popular courses such as BTech and MBA. The residential campus across the B.T. Road includes, apart from several staff quarters, the Guest House, the Medical Welfare Unit, the Boys' Hostel, the Research Scholars' and ISEC hostel, the Ladies hostel, and parts of several service units. Library, which is located in a multi-floor building, is on the first, second and third floors of the building, the library building houses many classrooms in the fifth and seventh floors. Various academic and service units are also located here. The Ground Floor houses Reprography & Photography Unit, Audio-Visual Unit, Medical Reimbursement Unit and ISI Cooperative Credit Society. The library at kolkata has over 2,00,000 volumes of books and journals besides many official reports, reprints,maps, microfilms and microfiches.

Well, it is pretty expensive. It will cost a good amount of your cranial potential to get through the entrance examination. Apart from that you need to invest good amount of time preparing yourself for the written examination as well as the interview. The approximate fee for the entire course is INR 40,000.
However, all the nominal security deposits are fully refundable. Hostel room charges are less than 100. There are mess fees if you want to opt for it. You'll get a stipend of 5k a month and a book grant of 5k per semester which can be used to buy books, print and photocopying study materials, etc.

No, you cannot enter the BSDs programme of ISI Kolkata through IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). The JEE Main and CUET (UG) score have been used for admission to ISI Kolkata's Bachelor of Statistical Data Science (BSDS) program. The IAT is especially for admission to BS (Research) programs in IISers.
