IIT Guwahati offers courses nine courses at UG, PG and doctorate level. The college offers BTech and BDes at UG level. At PG level the college offers MSc, MBA, MA, MDes and MS. The college offers PhD at doctorate level.

To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. However, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline with the required minimum aggregate (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams for a few courses.
