Q:   Can I expect good salary after doing M.Tech in CSE?
A:

The average M.Tech CSE salary for fresh postgraduate students is somewhere between 4 and 7 Lakh. For mid-senior level positions, the salary range is slightly higher on the basis of the experience and skills acquired by the individuals over a few years. Their salary would be between INR 7 LPA and INR 10 LPA. For senior-level management positions, the salary in the CSE field is more than INR 10 LPA and can go up to INR 20 LPA as well because of the demand for CSE professionals in this age of digitalization.

Proper infrastructure, cooperative faculty members, and job prospects.
Placements: We have about 1,000+ placements each year across various branches and firms. The placement options for students include jobs in IT and core fields. Students can work as Software Developers, Analysts, and Engineers. There is also aptitude preparation for placements.
Infrastructure: There are proper facilities available in terms of classrooms, computer labs, Wi-Fi, and a library on the college campus. The hostel facilities are comfortable. There are proper food provisions in the mess and canteen. Medical and sports facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Professors are cooperative and have a lot of knowledge. They explain concepts very clearly. The curriculum focuses on technical aspects. They provide a solid background according to industry needs. The semester exams are easy to handle. Students can score well with regular attendance & studying.

Faculty members are average, but the placements are good. Overall, the college is fine.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in this college. The highest package is 60 LPA from Microsoft, and the average package is around 5–6 LPA. The overall placement cell is good. The college is mostly famous for placements rather than college life.
Infrastructure: The hostel is nice and well-maintained. The internet sometimes lags in the college, but this problem occurs everywhere. The mess food is nice, and there is nothing to worry about. The overall environment is good. I would say the facilities are okay overall.
Faculty: Faculty members are normal and friendly. The subjects in every semester are mostly relevant and make sense. The exam pattern is good overall. It is neither too good nor too bad. The difficulty level is normal, and students can pass the exams easily. There is not much pressure regarding exams.
Other: The value for money offered by the college is average. They do not charge extra for things unrelated to students. Therefore, the value for money is average. Crowd management is not very good because the college is small. Extracurricular activities depend on how much students participate & their individual interests.

Quite good placements, could be a better infrastructure if a playground is available.
Placements: Placements are quite good, but they aren't the best in my opinion. As an ECE student, it's completely core, but there are no core companies for us. There is only one company that came at the end and also that is a local company rather, the companies on the IT side are good.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, the college is not only about the buildings, library, and Wi-Fi it must contain a big playground, a vast area of parking, and also good clubs. Even the management should support them, in this college, these don't exist. The campus is too small, with only 3 main blocks and 3 small blocks. The canteen is a bit better.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are quite good. It doesn't mean that it's wrong, but for a B.Tech graduate, those should be minimum. The curriculum is good. The exam correction is a bit tough, but it's quite okay to have that. During the middle semesters, the curriculum is too tough, and the papers and exams are tough, but it's fine.
Other: My college life is normal, but it gave me many memories that I will carry my whole life. It gave me soul and have me a reason to attend college other than the attendance.

The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering has good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: In my CSE course at IARE, around 75–80% of students got placed. The highest package offered was around 12–14 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 4.5–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, & Tech Mahindra. About 60% of students got internships through the college. These internships were in companies like TCS iON and local startups. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Systems Engineer, and QA Analyst.
Infrastructure: IARE has very good infrastructure for the CSE department. We have high-speed Wi-Fi. The computer labs are well-maintained and have the latest systems. There are smart classrooms. The central library has a huge collection of books. There is also a digital library. The hostel facilities are good. The rooms are clean and have three-sharing options. The mess food is average but hygienic. The canteen food is better. The college has good medical facilities. There is a large ground for sports like cricket, football, and basketball. A gym facility is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members at IARE are very supportive. They are well-qualified. Most of them are M.Tech. and Ph.D. holders. They explain concepts clearly. They also help students with projects. The curriculum is based on JNTUH. It is updated with new technologies like AI, ML, and Data Science. Exams are conducted strictly and on time. Internal marks are based on assignments & mid-semester exams. Overall, academics are disciplined & good for learning.
Other: The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering has excellent infrastructure and good placements. IARE Dundigal is a disciplined college. It has supportive faculty members and good labs. It is a really good college for CSE. It offers decent placements and affordable fees.

Overall, my opinion is average. The college has good placements.
Placements: Placements in my college are somewhat better compared to other colleges. The highest package offered was 60 LPA, I guess, for 5 people by Microsoft. The average package is around 7–10 LPA. Bulk recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. There are also other companies like IBM, Virtusa, Juspay, JP Morgan, Eightfold AI, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel is almost perfect. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided. There are also snacks, which are really good. The hostel is worth the price. The Wi-Fi is average. We can access apps through the college Wi-Fi, but only the necessary ones are accessible.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have Ph.D. qualifications. Faculty members are somewhat knowledgeable, but you have to ask them about preparation and other things. The semester exams are not very tough. You can pass them easily. The course curriculum mostly matches the GATE syllabus.
Other: Events are conducted, but on a small scale. There is not enough space to conduct big events. Within the available space, the major events are Freshers' Day, Annual Day, Traditional Day, and DJ Night. The remaining events include hackathons and club activities.

It's a average college, with good placement offers.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed, the highest was 17 LPA, and the mean was 3 LPA, the average was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Deloitte, Microsoft, Juspay, TCS, Infosys, Zomato, Swiggy, Amadeus, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. About 20 to 30% of members got internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, classrooms are neat, but seating is not good. Wi-Fi is available for students, but it is limited to 2 GB per day, and hostel facilities are okay. It doesn't have its own hostel. IARE college hostel is in MLRIT first campus hostel.
Faculty: Semester exams are average. We can pass easily if we prepare one night before the examination. Minds and Semesters are of almost the same difficulty level. The curriculum is relevant and helpful for each department. It does help a little in making students industry-ready.

Choosing a college depends on the key parameters and your preference.

MLRITIAREAnurag UniversityGNIT

College offers good placement records for IT/CSE and core branches, lively campus environment, and close proximity to Hyderabad's tech corridors.

College is very focused on academics, strong project-based learning. It is well-equipped laboratories.College has a decent campus culture.

It is a decent option, if your rank is around  15,001–25,000 in EAMCET.

Students get a vibrant campus life with solid corporate connections. The college has higher median package for engineering graduates compared to Anurag University. The class sizes for CSE/Data Science are large and slightly lower median placement packages than IARE.Generally,   MLRIT and IARE are better in overall placement consistency.
