Honest review of Institute of commerce, Nirma University.
Placements: I am from the 1st batch of B.Com (Hons). In my time good companies came for recruiting like Piramal housing finance, KPMG, EY, Nielsen and many more. Profiles offered were Sales, Business Analyst, Data Analyst and many more. The minimum package was 2.5 LPA and the maximum was 4.5 LPA during my time at Johnson & Johnson.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are excellent. Classes are fully air-conditioned and students have a good seating facility. Classes have everything like speakers, projector, charging socket at every seat and excellent washrooms. Lots of sports tournaments take places such as basketball, football, cricket, and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent and the course outline is very good. Students get in-depth knowledge of topics. The marking system is divided into Class participation, group and individual projects, presentations, midterm, and end-term. The level of the project is excellent and I can say they are above MBA level.
Other: The canteen and mess are good. The food quality is very good and the people there are very helpful.

The college offers good exposure and curriculum.
Placements: Generally, people don't opt for placements after B.Com, and most of the students opt for post graduation. However, all the students who applied for placements secured a job. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA. Only a few students with more than 8.5 points applied for placements. Companies like KPMG, Parimal, Neilson, and Ernest & Young visited the campus for recruitments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent with audio-visual classrooms and enriched library. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The new building which is being built has centralised air-conditioner. There is a doctor available on the campus. There are bus transportation facility, many canteens, and a mess.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very rigorous. It also has a very strong faculty base. Faculty members from the other sister institutes also teach a few subjects. There are regular assignments, and they carry a significant weightage in the marks. There is also an emphasis on newspaper reading through a dedicated session on it. The college timings are from 11 am to 5:30 pm.
Other: The college fest named Elysian is organised well.

Our college has good placements, good infrastructure, and everything else.
Placements: All students who opted for placements are placed. Students are happy with their placements. I am currently in my second semester, and I got my internship at an NGO through our college. Internships are compulsory. They help in our overall development.
Infrastructure: The canteen is very good. The new building has air conditioning, but its construction will take time. Overall, the libraries provided to us by the college are also good, with a lot of books. There are two libraries. Wi-Fi is not provided by the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Teaching techniques are good. End-semester exams are moderate to hard. The first year is a social development year, so there are subjects like yoga. It will help students grow with good societal values.
Other: Ethnic Day, cultural events, talent hunts, etc., are conducted. Sports leagues are also conducted.

I am absolutely satisfied due to good infrastructure, facilities, activities and good teachers.
Placements: Around 80%-85% of the students can get placed from this course through our college. The lowest salary which can be offered to students is Rs. 10,000 per month, but I do not know about the highest salary offered. About 90% of the students get internships or placements from our course in Ernst & Young, KPMG, Nielsen, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities at Nirma University are amazing. Classrooms, library and labs have good infrastructure. I am happy to be a part of this college as it provides us with all opportunities which can enhance our social contact all over India. This institute also helps students to take the initiative, and by doing all these things, we can develop our confidence.
Faculty: Faculty members in our university are very helpful, and they are very well qualified. They have enough knowledge about their course as well as the current affairs. They also help us to know what is happening in the outside world, i.e., in industries, companies and businesses.
Other: There is no need to make any changes to our course, and it is better than any other course. All the events, fests and extracurricular activities are organised by students only so that they can learn about managing. The campus crowd and campus surroundings are very encouraging. The campus connectivity is good, and they all encourage us to work smartly as well as hard to achieve our goals.
