IEM Kolkata has started the admission process in the initial stages for the 2025-27 MBA session
The WBJEE 2026 registration deadline has been extended to Apr 8, 2026, for Institute of Engineering and Management admission to the BE/BTech course. The WBJEE exam 2026 will take place on May 24, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted till Apr 9, 2026, for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.
- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

No, the institute does not offer direct admissions. Candidates have to qualify the respective entrance test for admission. The accepted exam is IEMJEE for admission to BTech, BCA and BBA courses. The university also accepts national or state-level entrance exams like CAT/MAT/JEMAT for MBA and WB JECA for MCA.
