Good placements, disciplined environment, and quality education.
Placements: IEM is one of the strongest colleges in West Bengal for BCA placements, but students should keep realistic expectations. In the last few years, they have claimed to provide 100% placement. They do have a high cut-off for placement eligibility. Average students are expected to maintain a good CGPA; average job packages range from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. This is the average package expectation based on practical skills and academics. The placement department is highly active and starts training students from the first semester itself. The placement faculty members are very helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is clean across the Ashram Campus, Management Campus, and Gurukul Campus. There is a good water supply, and classrooms in the Ashram Campus have AC. Students have access to Wi-Fi, and the speed is decent. Labs are properly equipped and functional.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. They have a proper understanding of what they teach. The course structure is still slightly following MAKAUT University guidelines. Faculty members also provide extra classes and help students with their studies. Though exams are quite tough, at least 50% is required to pass, and paper checking is strict.
Other: I was previously from a commerce background, so BCA was aligned with my IT future. As I am from the Ashram Campus, I can say the campus size may be small, but it is sufficient for studying. There is an indoor playroom and a basketball court. Events are conducted occasionally, including sports, technical, and non-technical activities.

Good environment, best placements.
Placements: As per the previous batch placement, it's a good percentage, like about 80-90%, I can say. The lowest package offered is 3-4 LPA, and the highest is 10-15 LPA and can be more. Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, SAP Labs, Capgemini, TCS and more IT companies recruit. As per our college's information, 100% placement is provided, and it can be true because from the 1st year, our college has started giving placement preparation.
Infrastructure: We have an air-conditioned classroom, a huge collection of books in the library and a good Wi-Fi connection. Hostels also have great facilities, as I heard from my friends. They provided a good amount of food, and it had a homely quality. Overall, it's a student-friendly and safe place.
Faculty: For my department, faculty members are so cooperative. Our HoD and our assistant HoD always take care of us. They always create harmonious environment for study. Their teaching helps us understand every topic in detail. In one sentence, they're helpful and available for students in their studies. Semester examinations are tough if you don't follow classes, otherwise, they are moderate as per your preparation. The pass percentage moreover like around 90% approximately.

The placements and campus infrastructure are average, but sports and events are good.
Placements: 90% of students who appeared for the placement program got placements from the college. The lowest package is Rs. 1,20,000 per annum, and the average package is 3 LPA. The highest package is 5 LPA. The top recruiter companies were Deloitte, Accenture, and Wipro. No internships were offered during our course, but some students still managed to get internships at SAP from offline campus recruitment. Associate data analyst and assistant software developer were the posts offered in the course.
Infrastructure: The library was available, but the book stock was limited, and the labs were also available, but the machines were old and in need of an upgrade. The labs do have Wi-Fi, but it is not accessible to students. The hostels are average because the food quality is average, not too good, and there is an excessive amount of unnecessary rules and regulations, both in the hostel and after college hours. The medical facilities are average. A basketball court is available on the college campus, and sports tournaments and matches are a good aspect of this college, as regular tournaments happen here.
Faculty: The curriculum was old, and the faculty members were teaching the same old curriculum batch after batch. Some faculty members were helpful, but some were excessively rude to students, and there were various unnecessary bonds and rules while inside the college campus. The passing CGPA is 6, and the semester exams are conducted according to the syllabus provided by the college.

A great college for real learners.
Placements: My first year just ended, and I saw many elders of my college getting high package placements, which means it's almost 80-85% placements. The average package is 3-5 LPA. Top recruiters are SAP Labs, Cognizant, and TCS. Software developer, or developer-type roles, are mostly offered, I saw.
Infrastructure: The campus is not that big, but every facility is available. Wi-Fi is good, labs are well-maintained, and classrooms are well-maintained too. We have library cards distributed, and we can access the library at any time. Sports frequently happen in seasons. Medical rooms are always open for students. I heard the mess and hostels are good too.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, everyone there is a good teacher. Their teaching quality is awesome, and every single one of them is filled with knowledge. All this we have in this course, everything we are learning really makes a student industry-ready. The difficulty of exams depends on how much a student is learning. In my view, their semester exams are perfect, not too tough and not too easy. Almost everyone passes in the exams except some students who really lack in their studies.
Other: I'm from commerce, so I can't go to B.Tech. I was interested in software development and these types of roles, so I came to BCA. The best thing is that here I'm almost having a B.Tech syllabus without getting a B.Tech. My college is filled with events, almost 10 events in a month. I also participate sometimes, the fest is good, not the best, and others are okay-okay, not the top notch, but okay, it's good.

Short and simple: 100% placement is what IEM literally offers.
Placements: Students are still getting placed, about 80% students are already placed in the third year of our college. Now, till this 3rd year ends, it'll increase to 100% surely. The highest LPA (till now) is 8.9 LPA. Cognizant, TCS, SAP, Deloitte, and Intellipaat are some of the top companies that recruited. The college did not provide any internships except one from IPAC. Analyst Trainee, Business Development Associate, and Associate Analyst roles are offered.
Infrastructure: I've heard it's good, though I am not entirely sure of it yet. Wi-Fi is provided, as far as I know. Rooms are well ventilated and clean. Food is provided in a timely manner, including veg and non-veg both. Some festivals are also held in the hostel. Medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: About 80% teachers are good, but they don't properly get the operation from the class to do so. Otherwise, they're good. The pass percentage is 60%, and the difficulty is overall a good amount, but it's basically pretty easy, as the college teachers provide proper exam notes and class notes.
Other: I had a previous interest in Computer Application, and I'm not good with math, to choose B.Tech, that's why BCA was my choice. The best things in my college would be the placement. Events, coding competitions, exposure, hackathons, debates, and more such fun activities and events are held. Every part of it is exciting and fun.

IEM Salt Lake BCA: Strong placements, decent infrastructure, and good supportive faculty members.
Placements: College provides excellent BCA placements with reputed recruiters like Deloitte, TCS, and Infosys. Around 90-95 percent of students got placed with an average package of 4 LPA to 5 LPA, and top offers reaching more than 8 LPA. It gives placement assistance as well, so students feel free to take any help.
Infrastructure: Average infrastructure with basic labs and classrooms that need modernization. Hostel facilities are limited, with small rooms and average food quality. Libraries are good and updated with all required books. It's not good, at least in my opinion, it's a 3/5 rating.
Faculty: The faculty at this campus for BCA is knowledgeable and supportive, with a well-structured curriculum covering core IT skills. Exams are moderately tough, not so easy, not so hard, focusing on concepts and practical. Over all it deserves a 4/5 rating.

I'm absolutely satisfied.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in this course is about 90%. The highest package is 7-8 LPA, the lowest is 2.5-3 LPA, and the average package is 4-4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course are SAP Labs, Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and many more. 70% of students are for internships, and the top roles offered to them depends during their training period.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are extremely overwhelming and helpful. The infrastructure is quite well-maintained. Each and every classroom has its own wifi installed. The classrooms are very big. Each accomodate near about 80 students. The facilities of the hostel provided are good, but the food available isn't that good. Canteen food is good and tasty. The medical facilities provided are also quite good, and there is always a doctor present. There are sports and games room infact some of the other sports events are also taking place.
Faculty: The teachers are all helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is extremely good. They always make sure that each and every student understands what is being taught. The course curriculum is so relevant that it absolutely makes us ready for the industry infact they are making us ready to seek placement under technical categories like B.Tech. The semester exams in college are not so difficult, though if you attend the lectures regularly, you can easily get good marks. The pass percentage is more than 99% very less fails.

Our college is very good. Environment and placements are also very good.
Placements: All students are placed properly in many companies. The average package is 3.5 LPA. About 70 percent of students are placed, and the average package is 4–5 LPA. TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are also very good in environment. It also gives us Pan India-based placements, which is helpful for us.
Infrastructure: We have a computer lab with proper equipment. We have a basketball ground where we all spend time. We also have the best Wi-Fi in the college. Every room has an air conditioning facility. Mike is also good in our classroom. Medicine is properly given by our teacher.
Faculty: Teachers are genuinely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with decent teaching quality overall. The curriculum is relevant and provides a good foundation, helping students become industry-ready with additional skill development.
