Scholarship Category
1.) School Toppers- Candidates will get 100% full tuition fee waiver for 4 years who will top the class XII board exam.
2.) State Toppers- Candidates will get 100% full tuition fee waiver for 4 years who placed in the top ranks at the state level. Maximum Rank 1 to 10.
3.) WBJEE Scholarship- Ranked 1-1000 in WBJEE exam will be eligible for full tuition fee waiver for 4 years as scholarship.
4.) JEE MAINS scholarship- Ranked 1-10,000 in JEEMAINS will be eligible for full tuition fee waiver for 4 years as scholarship.
5.) Sports Scholarship for BBA & MBA- Students who have participated in District, State, National and International Level in sports with having minimum 60% aggregate in class X and class XII are entitled for full 100% tuition fee waiver for 2 and 4 years. Maximum 10 students in BBA & MBA.

BTech in CSE at Institute of Engineering and Management has a total fees of INR 9.45 Lacs in academic year 2026. Candidates are charged this fees in eight installments where the first installment is INR 1.4 lakh.
The other eight installments are all INR 1.15 Lacs each, charged at the beginning of each semester.
BTech students at Institute of Engineering and Management can mostly apply for merit-based scholarships. However, there is also a sports scholarship offered to BTech students with national or state level event achievements.
These scholarships canhelp BTech students secure between 25% - 100% tuition fee waiver at Institute of Engineering and Management.
IEM Kolkata does not offer any scholarships from its side to MBA students. However, central and West Bengal government offer scholarship schemes to help candidates their college course fees.
However, if candidates fail to secure any of these scholarships, their final option includes applying for student loans.

While filling out WBJEE application form, candidates need to pay fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. WBJEE application fee is INR 500 for General Male Candidates), INR 400 (for general female and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Male Candidates) and INR 300 (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW female candidates and Third Gender General Candidates). For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Third Gender category candidates, the application fee is INR 200. If candidates does not pay application fee, their applications will be rejected by authorities.
