Decent government college, placements are less in lower branches, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Chemical engineering branch is quite average, I mean you cannot expect much placement so rather go for GATE exam or go for coding as per your area of interest. The average package for chemical engineering is approximately 7 LPA. Top roles offered are process engineer, quality control engineer, and production engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Library is open for all good books provided. Classrooms are decent but washrooms in college are pathetic. Instruments in labs are not working mostly like in chemical department. In lab, mostly the instruments don't work. Also, some professors are quite particular about attendance.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite partial towards female students and sometimes their favourite as well. But some are really kind and solve our doubts. Semester exams are not that much difficult but you need to study from the start and not one day before the exam as it will affect your college.
Other: Events like Encore Udgam, Vidyut Bankura, etc., are held.

College is good regarding return on investment. Location is fantastic so company visits often.
Placements: More than 500 students are placed out of 550 students. 3 students got the highest package of 54 LPA CTC with top recruiting companies like Amazon and Google. Many of the students got internships. Overall, 30% of our students got internships. Top role offered is assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the chemical engineering department are very good as it has a new separate building of itself called NNF (Navyug Navcharya Foundation) but the equipment is not up to date. Hostel facilities are below average. The canteen is also average. Medical facilities are at the bare minimum. Sports and games facilities are nice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough. But some of the teachers do not have the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are decent enough, not very hard, not very easy, it's decent enough to maintain our CGPA.
Other: This is the only course I am getting in this college so I preferred this. The best thing about my course is that it is very diverse. It's decent enough. Events and fests are all bogus. Campus crowd is good. Scholarships are also decent. Extracurricular activities are also decent.

Good government college with a large campus, affordable fees, and scope for better facilities.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% students of Chemical Engineering get placed every year. The highest package offered is 10 to 12 LPA, some exceptions are higher, but rare for core branches. The average package offered is 4 to 5 LPA. The lowest offers usually start around 3 LPA. Top recruiting Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Hero, Honda, L&T, and some mid-level IT/service firms visit for recruitment. Most students get roles like Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Process Engineer, Software/IT roles, and Analyst roles in service based companies.
Infrastructure: For Chemical Engineering, the labs are well equipped with the necessary instruments and apparatus. The classrooms are spacious, but maintenance and cleanliness are average. Wi-Fi is available in academic areas, and the central library has a decent collection of books. Hostel facilities are basic with average maintenance. The mess food is manageable, but not very consistent in quality. Medical facilities are limited, and sports grounds are available for cricket, football, and other games. The campus is quite big, around 100 acres, and provides enough open space to roam around.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality depends a lot on self study. Some teachers explain really well, while others are average. The curriculum is mostly theoretical and not fully updated to industry standards, so extra effort is needed from students to be industry ready. Exams are of moderate difficulty and mostly focus on theory, with regular study, passing is not very tough, but scoring high requires good preparation.
Other: I chose Chemical Engineering because of my interest in core subjects and the government college tag. The best thing about the course is that it builds strong fundamentals, though industry exposure is still limited. Fests and events happen every year, which bring some energy to the campus, but extracurricular activities are not very frequent. The campus crowd is decent, connectivity to the city is good, and the surroundings are peaceful. If the college focused more on modern labs, industry tie ups, and student activities, the overall experience would be much better.

The college is decent. If you get a good branch, your experience will be good.
Placements: Out of 550 students, more than 500 are placed. Four B.Tech students got the highest placement of 54 LPA, at Google and Amazon. The average package is 6 to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Hero Fincorp, NCC, TCS, Newgen, and Rinex Technology, among others. There is a 75% attendance criteria. Some students also got internships at Microsoft and other companies.
Infrastructure: In the library, books for many courses are available and you can issue them for 15 days. Wi-Fi is available in the library 24*7. Classrooms are decent and have a good ventilation system, proper lighting, a projector, fans, etc. In my college, there are 8 boys' hostels: Ramanujan Hostel for 1st-year boys which is four-seater, Aryabhatta Hostel for 2nd-year boys which is three-seater, and the rest of the hostels are single-seater. Each room has a fan, Wi-Fi, table, chair, and an almirah. The mess is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful if you have any doubts. You can ask questions frequently, and if you want to prepare for government exams, they will guide you. Many teachers are IIT graduates with M. Tech and Ph.D. qualifications, and many also have industry experience.
Other: My rank is not very good, so I chose this course. However, the teachers in my course are very good. It could be better if they added more real-life practicals. The maximum number of students got scholarships from 50 to 90 thousand.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 25% of students got placed in my branch. The highest on-campus package is 40 LPA. Average package is 10 LPA. Median package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Adobe, Prism Johnson, etc. It provides a strong off-campus support structure and is popular for pre-placement offers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms and labs are not well-equipped. Hostel is not up to the expectations but yet provides all the facilities. There are great opportunities for sports. There are different clubs for different sports. You can explore any of those.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant. I don't think that the students are ready for the industry just by studying the course material. Semester exams are moderate and 80% pass with good marks.
Other: Chemical engineering is a great branch. There is a separate community for chemical engineers. It should be more practical. Lots of events and fests are conducted. Connectivity is also great, and seniors are very helpful.
