It is a very good place with healthy environment for academics.

Placements: For the under graduation level, the placements were good, but for post graduation level, the placements were poor. Only 2 students out of 18 from my batch got government jobs, 6 students joined their PhD, and the rest of the students got private jobs.

Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 100 acres located in a prime location of Lucknow. It is well-connected to other parts of the city. It has 10 hostels for boys and 3 separate hostels for girls. It has a well-established library. Classrooms have LAN connectivity. It has good medical and sports facilities.

Faculty: IET offers UG and PG level courses. Each department has professors, associate professors and assistant professors. In-house faculty members are available. The college also has guest faculty members in each department. Every teacher has their own method of teaching as some believe in conventional teaching, and some of them used high media of communication for teaching purpose.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placements are not provided for M.Tech students but are provided for B.Tech students. Some companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit the college for recruitments. Students can sit for the interviews conducted by different companies, to get placed. The placement condition for B.Tech students is average. The management can do much better for the students, but they don't do because they don't want the students to be successful in their career.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the worst. There is no water facility. Washrooms are not good. There is no power backup. Fans in classrooms don't work properly, and there are many other problems. There is no Wi-Fi and no labs. The library is very bad, and there are no extra facilities for the students.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are good, but they are arrogant. They don't talk to the students politely. Guest faculty are good and co-operative, but some of them are arrogant as they are from government colleges.

What is the procedure and cut-off required to get into IET for M.Tech in CS? Also, is last year's GATE score acceptable?

Hi, M.Tech in CS course is not available at IET-Lucknow. Hence, you have to exercise for other colleges. Further most of the colleges are accepting GATE score for their MTech programs. The validity of GATE score is remains for three years from the date of declaration of GATE result. The minimum qu
