Review by Suriyabhan Singh of the college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is very good. The highest package offered in this course is more than 60 LPA. The average package the students get from my course is nearly 8 LPA. Percentage of students who got an internship in my college is 80 percent.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for this course are nearly 80 percent. The Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are also available for college students. The canteen food made in this college is very nice. Sports and games are also available for all the college students.
Faculty: The teachers in my course are so helpful and knowledgeable. They have high teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are ready for industrial visits. Semester exams in the college are easy to get good marks. The pass percentage is 60 percent.
Other: I chose this course because my college is the best in UP. There is no wish to improve. Scholarship is also available for college students.

Good placements, good faculty, and below-average infrastructure facilities are available.
Placements: Placements are above average and decent. The percentage of students placed in ECE 2026 is 84.97 percent. The highest package is 63.78 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 21.53 3. Top companies are Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, Texas, Salesforce, and many more. Internship data is confidential.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the class is good and the labs are excellent. All of them are fully AC. The library is very good. The seating is very comfortable and fully AC equipped. The quality of the hostel is not good. Rooms are compact and small basically the room officially for 1 is shared. However Wi-Fi is available in the complete hostel, light and water supply are 24/7 present. The mess is built well enough. Some mess is fully AC operated but in some, construction is ongoing. Food quality is mid. The canteen is good and everything is available in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified and have complete knowledge about their particular course. It is updated every 4 years and is relevant. If you didn't study anything then you will fail, so they are hard enough and the pass percentage is normal.
Other: In this course, we have opportunities for both software and core industry. The package is decent and it has a lot to know about real-life experience. Events and fests are just perfect only college people are allowed, and they are well arranged and everything about the fest is good.

Excellent in placement. You have to compromise a little bit with the city and college infrastructure
Placements: According to the last 3-4 years, in CSE above 90 percent of students got placed. The highest package this year is 96 LPA, the average is 28 LPA, and the median is 23lpa. Many companies come like DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Salesforce, Nvidia, Microsoft, Uber, etc. Almost 35 percent of students got internships in DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley, multiple banks, Salesforce, etc. Top roles offered here are SDE starter, UI/UX designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good even below average. They always complain about mess food, bathrooms, and classrooms also. Now AC is installed in many classrooms still there are many without AC. Library is good you can easily get your spot and study, completely centralized with AC. The infrastructure of rooms and buildings is not good. 1st year hostels for both boys and girls are good, but 2nd year is the most crowded one, in single rooms two students have to manage there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and most of them are highly knowledgeable passouts from IITs after completing their M.Tech or Ph.D. CSE branch course is too much chill here, if you attend classes daily and listen to what the professor has said and given as homework and assignments, you can easily get a CPI above 8. Semester exams are not too difficult, it is based on the previous year's pattern so nothing to worry about.
Other: The main reason to join this college for me is only placement since I'm from Mirzapur and this is a top NIT in terms of placement along with my dream branch, CSE. So I joined here. Events and fests are okay here, not too much nor too low. The excitement doubles when you are with your friends, and many big personalities and celebrities also come here and show their talent.

Overall MNNIT in 2026, in my point of view.
Placements: In my course around 82 percent of students got placed, with the highest package of 72 LPA, the lowest 10 LPA, and an average of 22 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, IBM and others in tech fields. In core fields, L&T, Tata Steel, JSW, Mahindra, etc. Around 12-15 percent of students got internship offers mainly from Amazon, Salesforce AI, Infosys, and emerging startups. VLSI designing, Embedded system engineer, IT sector jobs are offered.
Infrastructure: All essential facilities are available like Wi-Fi in hostels, air-conditioned classrooms, library, and well-equipped labs for different branches. The infrastructure is a little old and work is going on to improve the NIRF ranking. Hostel quality is not that good for 2nd and 3rd year students and the mess is par, dispensary is available 24/7, and sports and games facilities are not so much developed but better than some other NITs.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Many have done a PhD from prominent NITs and IITs of India, and the teaching quality is also good. I would say that it is a relevant and strict course that makes us industry-ready as well. It lacks in many other sectors. Semester exams are difficult and need good preparation to ace them. Pass percentage is usually 80-85 percent and students get supplementary and back as well in a few subjects.
Other: Electronics and Communication Engineering is a new beginning of independent India it gives you the choice to either go into the software domain or the core domain, it's based on your interest. Infrastructure for sure and zero attendance policy. All other things are quite good.

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2029

Read this before taking admission in MNNIT.
Placements: In my course (B.Tech Chemical Engineering) at MNNIT, about 78% of students were placed last year. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the average package is 11 LPA. The data for the lowest package is not available, but in my opinion, it cannot be less than 5 LPA. These are considered decent packages (not great) for NIT placements. Talking about top recruiters, we have FAANG companies, which mostly recruit CSE students. But many other top tech companies are recruiting students from all branches, including the Chemical department. Core and consulting placements are also decent for Chemical Engineering.
Infrastructure: It was quite surprising for me to find that the hostel mess has AC. Apart from that, there are many facilities like washing machines, AC in hostel common rooms, refrigerators in the mess for common use, and an induction in the mess for late-night cooking. Wi-Fi is available in hostels and the library, and it works okay. The food is decent to good in taste, and hygiene is properly maintained. There is a dispensary near the girls’ hostel. A separate gym is available for boys and girls.
Faculty: You will find all kinds of teachers, from very helpful to a little strict. It also depends on the course whether we need much teacher assistance. Generally, many courses do not require much professor involvement. The academics in certain branches are quite tough. Students need to study seriously before exams.
Other: Chemical Engineering is the best course because it has relatively easy academics. It is a low-effort course, and many subjects may require only an all-nighter to get an A grade. It is a small course, so there is plenty of time for other activities like extracurriculars, placement preparation, coding, and even government exam preparation. Most of the proofs in this depth are easy. Easy passing done, almost with no backlog.

Great network, good college life, and not good infrastructure.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest and the lowest packages generally vary from 5 LPA to 20 LPA and the average is 8.5 LPA. Top recruiters are generally from the public sector union and mostly students go for software company according to their respective domain.
Infrastructure: The college has AC but the overall infrastructure is not that great because the buildings are old. The first-year girls hostel and final year boys hostel are 5-star level so it's better than most of the other colleges. Wi-Fi is there, labs are there and well-equipped. Mess food quality is good, edible but not great. Dispensary and clinic are there. Night canteen exists.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified but some are very strict as they have the ultimate power to do things. The teaching quality is good as they are accountable for the subjects and syllabus. The semester is tough but doable if regular studies are done.
Other: The course is not that valuable now but you can choose as the college has a great network. Events like Culrav and Avishkar occur in the odd semester best time of the year. Various sports fests make college life the best.
