B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026
5.0
Average placements with good campus facilities.
Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed from our batch. The average package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA while the highest is around 8 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities. Top roles offered are trainer and entry-level positions depending on the course specialisation.
Infrastructure: Our college staff provides all the facilities. The college Wi-Fi is always available. Labs are also available in this college. The infrastructure is very good. This college provides free Wi-Fi, a free library, and free lab. The college canteen is also budget-friendly with all the food.
Faculty: Teachers are good. I think the college is good for studying. The teaching quality is also good. I think that no semester exams are difficult because the college teachers' teaching techniques are good.

Good college life with all facilities.
Placements: About 70 percent of students get placed this year. The highest package is 30+ LPA, the minimum is 3.2 LPA for Civil Engineering, and the average is around 7 LPA this year. Top recruiters include Microsoft, and 50–60 percent of students got internships. Top roles are Software Engineer in CSE, and core branches also have specific roles.
Infrastructure: All labs have equipment and are working, except some labs like ECE and Electrical Engineering. The rest are good but not all are AC; some departments like Mechanical and Chemical Engineering have AC. The hostel also has good food. All sports and game clubs are active.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. They have great experience in their fields. They make your curriculum relevant for placements and industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if you study for one week before, you can easily pass. Attendance criteria are also strict.
Other: The best thing is placements. Faculty will improve, I think events and fests are also held regularly.

I highly recommend this college. A college campus is outstanding, exceeding my expectations.
Placements: My course CGPA is 8.9. The lowest package is 6 LPA, and the highest package is 49 LPA. Recruiting companies are Cimens, Bharat, L&T, etc. For an internship, the minimum required CGPA is 60. The roles offered are electrical engineer, power system engineer, and control system engineer.
Infrastructure: Laboratories equipment and instruments are all present. In library, all books are available with competition books. It also provides AC facilities. It has Wi-Fi facilities that are different for different locations. A hostel is in very clean condition. Mess food is checked by faculty members before being eaten and then served to the students. Medical facilities are available 24 hours for students. In sports, all equipment is available and every month conduct sports competitions.
Faculty: A good teacher is highly knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and understands the problems of the students. Internships and real projects help students apply their knowledge and gain experience. A common benchmark for passing is around 35 CGPA to 4 CGPA out of the total marks for each subject.

A descriptive review about my college.
Placements: At least 60%-70% of the total of my batchmates got their placements in TCS and Adani Group-like companies. The highest package they offered is around 21 LPA and the lowest package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Tisco, Reliance Corporation, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not so modern but it provides a good atmosphere for students and education and there are many free facilities for students. Classrooms and libraries are very good. Food quality isn't so good but either it's not too bad.
Faculty: Teachers are good, well-qualified, and dedicated and some of them are too friendly with the students and make us enjoy our classes. It makes the students to be ready for the industries. The semester exams aren't so tough but the passing percentage isn't so good too.
Other: The events and fest of this college are so enjoyable and interesting as they provide a lot of opportunities to make new friends.

The infrastructure and facilities are really good, and the hostel along with its mess is 5 out of 5.
Placements: The placement record is average according to students, but not for core branches. The placement average is around 5.5 LPA, mainly for CSE, AI, and ECE branches. You will get placed only if you are good at coding otherwise, you will not be able to sit in the placement process.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good and have separate mess facilities for each. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, with a total of nine boys' hostels and four girls' hostels. Our college also has a large sports complex, along with separate cricket and football stadiums. Each hostel has its own badminton, basketball, and volleyball courts.
Faculty: Faculty members are good for all branches, and in the Electrical department, professors are the ones who truly support the students. You will only fill pressurized yourself as the EE branch has the most difficult curriculum. However, for exams, you can secure an 8 CGPA easily within the study of 10 days before exams.
Other: I did not choose this course, my JEE main rank chose it. There is academic pressure in EE branch, especially in my college. This year, the college event celebrated was Shauryotsava '25, the annual sports fest and each branch has its own fest. You will have plenty of time for extracurricular activities.

Great peers, good faculty, average infrastructure, and a good enough campus life.
Placements: 70% of students are placed. The highest package is 50+ LPA, the average package is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Uber, Morgan Stanley, etc. Most placements occur off-campus, while on-campus recruitment is primarily from young startups. Software Development Engineer SDE roles are common this year 2025. Not many students secure internships in companies, but third-year students do. Companies like Uber, Google, and Amazon etc. Frequently offer internships. However, the majority of students choose higher studies, as the GATE and IES culture is amazing here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available, but the overall infrastructure is not very great. The quality of food in the mess varies significantly from one mess to another. However, the overall quality is good for a hostel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Labs have all the necessary equipment, but some seem outdated.
Faculty: The only good thing about this college is the curriculum and academics, which are excellent. Many GATE toppers come from this college, creating an incredible social circle where GATE and other competitive exams have a strong culture. The coding culture is also good, but the college's specialty remains primarily focused on the prestigious GATE and IES exams. Faculty members are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Ultimately college is satisfactory.
Placements: The placement record is poor as I am in the electrical branch. The maximum package is 1 or 2 CPA. Companies come as a recruiter which takes only 2-3 students. Others remain unplaced or they get placed in the sales company. In the end, placement states are poor. It is a bad experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There are not many buildings. There are not many facilities in classrooms. In some classrooms, a projector facility is not available. In labs, all outdated equipment is there. They are not working. The primary focus is to complete the lab file always.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated. As I am in the electrical department, regular classes take place. Teachers in the department are skilled. They have good knowledge in their fields. But ultimately you have to focus on your competitive preparation because ultimately that will give benefit.

Fests in my college are very less compared to other colleges.
Placements: The placements in the Electrical Engineering branch are very less compared to other branches. But the highest package is 1 crore and the average package is 5 LPA. Many students try to give the GATE examination and score very good in the Electrical branch of IET Lucknow.
Infrastructure: In my department, the classrooms are comfortable, but there is no Wi-Fi facility available. In IET Lucknow hostels, the Wi-Fi facility is given to students for their use. The food in my hostel is average, but in the second year, the mess food quality is very poor compared to other messes.
Faculty: Whatever the teacher teaches, students gain only 25% of what they teach and 75% of the questions come from GATE in the examination. Seniors are very helpful in providing previous years' exam papers, which is more helpful in the examination. The examination makes it difficult to score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of government jobs.
