Institute of Management Education and Consultancy Rudrapur is an AICTE approved institute with approval by MHRD and GOI. The Institute is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital and offers PGDM as a flagship programme. IMEC Rudrapur operates under the patronage of Moshal Education Development Trust, New Delhi which was established in 2013.

IMEC Rudrapur provides admission on the basis of merit and entrance. The Institute offeres programmes such as MBA/ PGDM (flagship programme), BHM, UG Diploma and BBM/ BMS. The Institute offers these programmes with a minimum eligibility criteria of securing 50% in graduation (for PGDM) and 50% for Class 12. The entrance based shortlisting is done through the scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ISC/ UK 12 etc.
