Decent college for those who prefer to do MBA in a small budget but get good placements.
Placements: I completed my MBA (full time) in 2025 with financial administration as core specialisation. Institute of Management Studies is a very decent college for placements through MBA. Nearly 80-85% of the students easily get placed through IMS. The highest package provided during my MBA is 21 LPA by Arcesium which is a company for finance students. The lowest package may differ every year but it is 3 LPA at my time. The average package provided is 5 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Zomato, Pattern, Consult Add, Arcesium, Accenture, HDFC, ICICI, etc. Internships are also provided by colleges but percentage is very low.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities provided by IMS like a spacious parking area, library, computer lab, conference hall, auditorium, unlimited Wi-Fi, classrooms are also very big as well as fully furnished. It contains fans, projectors, proper light, and ventilation. Washrooms are regularly cleaned and it also has bathroom fresher. Infrastructure of this college is very poor. The building was built many years ago and now needs renovation. Hostel facilities are very nice. Food at the campus is very delicious but building needs renovation. Canteen provides various variety of food like beverages, snacks, etc. Sports facilities are also provided like ground, equipment, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in this college. All the teachers have great experience. Senior faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is very nice except for one or two faculty members. Course curriculum is acceptable but needs to be updated according to the needs of placements. I don't think it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to clear and score decent marks.
Other: I chose MBA (full time) as full-time students get an opportunity to study all the subjects like marketing, HR, finance, and operations in 1st year and then get a chance to select specialisation wisely. Also, FT students are given priority at the time of placements. It should improve the infrastructure of the college. There are many fests conducted at this place like cultural, sports, etc. Ganesh Pooja and Vasant Panchami are done with full bhakti vibes and theme traditional clothes. Pratispardha is the annual sports event and other fest like spandan and brand bazar are also conducted.

It was above my expectations.
Placements: In our branch, 60-65% of students get placements every year. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranged between 6 to 9 LPA. Multiple companies visit the college for placements. The top recruiting companies were EY, Eicher, Byjus, etc. The top roles offered were in human resources, executive positions, marketing leadership, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was average, not very good. The college provided facilities such as Wi-Fi, a canteen, labs, and a library to the students. The quality of food in the canteen was good considering the price. The college had a wide campus but no hostel facility.
Faculty: During my batch, there were all the best teachers in the college. The teachers were qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields of study. Regular industry visits were conducted by the college. Various workshops were conducted by faculty for the students. Exams at the college could be easily passed.

Helpful faculty members.
Placements: I am in my final year of graduation and in my course there does not come any company for placements in BBA. That is 13-15 lacs in MBA commerce
The top companies name are information tech and e vitamins. From the passed out seniors I got to know that almost every student got placed from IMS college but not from e commerce. They were mainly from finance and HR background.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library. Also they have provided the sanitary pads in girls' washroom. The hostels of my university is not so good. Although there are various sports facilities like football, cricket grounds, badminton and basketball court, running tracks for athletes and many more .
Faculty: Everything is very good. The teachers are very experienced here, especially the visiting faculty members of our course is way good

The exams are not very difficult. Almost everyone gets promoted. So yes the pass percentage is 99.99 percentage .
Other: Because e commerce is getting on peak these days. The things that I wish to improve is regular classes and infrastructure. Events are too good here with low entry fees that allow everyone to participate in the events easily.

It is a good college overall, and the city is also good, you should go for it.
Placements: About 80% of Students gets placed in our college.
The highest package for year 2022 was 18 lakhs and the lowest is around 2 lakhs.
Top recruits are from Arcesium, Deloitte, Asian paints and Amul.
95% is the internship rate.
Sales executive, manager, finance, accountant, HR, jobs in IT department according to your skills and learning are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, auditorium, conference room every facility are provided that a student needs in a college.
Hostels are pretty good according to the price; it is really good. The total fees for girls' hostel for a year is 20000 only and they provide good rooms, geyser, washing machine, gas, filtered water and good rooms with beds, tables, chair and almirah.
Faculty: The faculty is so cooperative, qualified and knowledgeable. It is worth going to college every day for their lecturers.
The course is curriculum relevant, so many events are organised and Students can take part in it and also if they have any idea, they can organise their own event.
Exams are okay, you should at least have 34% to get promoted.
Other: I chose this course because the course is very good and the college is also good. In this course, you will gain knowledge about management as well as IT also.
Everything is on point and just college improves time to time.
There are number of fests in our college like spandan, vipanan, ethnic day, Bollywood day, pratisbarda and hyurisko.

If you are looking for MBA colleges in central India then no doubt go for IMS.
Placements: I had done MBA in marketing specialization and I will recommend that it is the best college in central India, various companies visit for placement every year and they offer various roles according to their requirements like sales executive, marketing leader, etc.
Infrastructure: College does not have its hostel or mess but the university (DAVV) owns a hostel for boys and girls separately, I will rate 3.5 out of 5 in terms of facilities in a hostel and 3 stars out of 5 for the quality of food in mess. But there are very options available outside campus, you can take private hostels or PG too.
Faculty: The difficulty level is moderate for every semester exams, they conduct 3 internals of 20 marks each out of which, marks of best 2 of the 3 are calculated in the final result and the remaining 60 marks are calculated from the end sem examination. It is not so difficult to crack the semester exams.
Other: The college conducts various events every year like spending an which is related to sports, deepotsav, Ganesh festival, etc. Connectivity, surrounding and all extracurricular activities are very good on the campus.

The college is decent and inexpensive than other institutions with fewer facilities.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in our course. The average salary package goes up to 5.5 LPA, which changes year to year. The top recruiting hospitals in our college are Appolo hospitals, Shalby hospitals, Agrawal Eye Hospitals, Novo IVF, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure for boys is very bad. It is a very old, ill-maintained building, which is very far from the campus and college. While the girls' hostel is well managed and newly constructed with good facilities. We also have Wi-Fi available, but it is only for registered laptops in the college IT cell.
Faculty: We have permanent faculty members who are very knowledgeable and very helpful. While some guest faculty may not be good at teaching but are knowledgeable, you may have to face difficulty in understanding their teaching methods. But the overall curriculum is well defined and focuses on specific hospitals as well as the healthcare industry.
Other: I chose the course MBA in Hospital Administration, a 5-year integrated programme. Because the healthcare industry is degenerate and has a lot of scope for new innovations.

The admission in IMS DAVV Indore for MBA (Finance) under CUET-PG is done on the basis of merit ranks. While 70% may be a competitive score, cutoffs do vary each year based on candidates and seat availability. The closing rank for MBA in 2024 was around 106. Please visit the official IMS DAVV website

If you are interested in joining a MBA course Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, your chances with 87 percentile in CAT are high to get admission. Last year they took students with 83 percentile so there are chances to get a admission.

Secondly, you have filled the CUET UG form, with which you are eligible only for BACHELOR programs.
For MBA or other Post-Graduation exams,you are suppose to fill the CUET-PG form afetr the bachelor.

The basic and minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the MBA in Financial Administration has been specified by IMS DAVV to be 45% in Graduation. The admissions are based on DAVV CET or any other national level entrance examinations, like CUET PG.
