Satisfied due to good facilities and infrastructure. Teachers are well qualified and helpful.
Placements: As I am in 1st year I am currently pursuing theoretical knowledge rather than practical but some of my senior friends had told me about placements as they got the highest package in big cities. Internships are offered to students from top recruiting companies according to their worth and capabilities as more than half of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University is one of the highest-ranked universities got A+ grades. Talking our institute which is related to technology and graphics has more than the above facilities available in one of the departments. Clean washrooms and classrooms with air-conditioned facilities. Talking about hostels, girls hostel have clean rooms, educated, and helpful wardens. Food is also okay, sometimes special diets are offered. Girls university canteen has all the necessary items needed in daily life. Coffee shops, chain bars, gym, ATMs, and medical facilities are available in every hostel. Sports are available on campus for every student.
Faculty: All the assistant professors, Ph.D. scholars, and our respected director sir are well-educated and helpful. Make study even more interesting by practical games and events happen every Monday which create an overwhelming result for the education of students. Teaching quality is best as grades are not just given according to study or assignments but active participation in events and class semester exams are taken seriously by every student and almost 94% of the students pass by good grades.
Other: I chose this course to enhance my communication skills and to be better with technology the thing I like a lot about this course is that the teachers are friendly and helpful which converts boring classes into interesting lectures. Events are managed by students and the best part is they even get grades for engagement students are well disciplined and have high-level communication skills scholarships for lower caste people are available.

Review of Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology by Sumiti Chahal .
Placements: There are 50 students in our course and most of them want to develop their career in media production, journalism, public relations, photography, radio production, etc. I have no idea regarding the package offered in our course. There are various companies which offer job opportunities for students. At least 80 percent of the students of our Institute were interested in doing internship at public relations agency. Our course provides opportunities for students to interact with journalists and motivates them to become good journalists, reporters and anchors.
Infrastructure: In our institute, there are well-equipped classrooms with modern facilities, including a computer lab, library, Wi-Fi connection, smart classes, radio studio, canteen, fully AC auditorium and seminar halls. When we talk about hostel facilities, there is a proper residential area for boys and girls separately. There is also a health care centre for medical facilities, along with ambulances, canteens, sports complexes, technical and non-technical clubs and a community center. The quality of food is average.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They tried their best to teach the students and clear all their doubts, which they were facing. We can say that our course curriculum is relevant. Exams shall be conducted semester-wise per year. Almost 90 percent of students passed the exam easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a journalist. Our course provides opportunities for the students to deal with every situation. The media fest was organized every year by our institute. There are also six clubs at our university and they provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities.

A great place to gain professional knowledge.
Placements: There is no placement guaranteed in course you have to final job on your own. You can get a job based on your skills and interviews. Kurukshetra University is undoubtedly one of the top universities but in case of studies in media field you have to make yourself that much strong that you can get a job.
Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University has one of the largest library in Haryana. Also there are 131 departments there and each one has own library. Wi-Fi speed is excellent. Classrooms and studios are well furnished. You can get lots of things to learn in Kurukshetra University.
Faculty: Faculty is absolutely excellent. Every teacher, professor has own experience of more than 15 years in this field. Exams are so easy but little lengthy so you should have fast writing speed while writing. 40% is the minimum passing marks. Average score of class is 60%.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: My course is B.A in mass communication. There is no guidance for internships. Need to be bilingual and multi tasking in this field.
Infrastructure: The construction is still in progress. The departments are maintained properly. They have a studio, computer lab, graphics lab, animation lab, and a library. There is Wi-Fi facility in classrooms as well as in hostel.
Faculty: Faculties are nice. With the effect of cbcs, the syllabus is completely changed and it is difficult. Some faculty do provide notes. But ultimately you will learn and gain knowledge on your own.

I like this college because of placements, memories, and environment.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed in All India Radio or any other radio ststions. Many students are working with Amar Ujala and Dainik Bhaskar newspaper. Some students got jobs in Doordarshan. Alumni are also working with some great news channels like Aaj Tak and ABVP news.
Infrastructure: The building of this department is under construction and but it has a computer lab, a library, and its own central library named Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru central library is the biggest library in Haryana. The university has a green environment because of trees so I can say if you want to study in a great environment, you should take admission here.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college consider teaching as a duty and take regular classes whereas some teachers take only 1 class a week or sometimes, a month. I am dissatisfied with faculty members. If you take admission in law, you will get your work done within seconds.
Other: The best thing about this university is that you can create a great network for jobs and friendships which may help you in your future.

Nice college, nice ambiance - my college, everyone's college.
Placements: No structure for placement is as such there in our university. However, for internship, there is a radio channel of the university in which some students are allowed to join as interns mostly with the purpose of learning. The internship is carried out under the guidance of faculty members.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The mass communication department is green all around with a small canteen that mostly serves tea. There is a facility of library for students and also there is an auditorium for cultural as well as other events. Also, you can visit the university market which serves every kind of necessity of students and also the nearby living faculty members.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly cooperative. The curriculum is obsolete and also classes are very few due to no issue of attendance. However, assignments are given from time to time with an always extending deadline. A faculty member named Mrs. Madhu is really cooperative and she is always ready to serve for the cause of students. There are always guest lectures from renowned media persons and film producers. It is very encouraging to hear from them about their journeys.
Other: There are 12 hostels for girls namely Ahilya, Meera, Ganga, Kasturba, Uttara Bhawan etc. Some of them are private hostels and some are government owned. The food quality is bad in case of private hostels while it is fairly good in case of govt. owned hostels. The hostel market is there where every type of utility is available. Xerox shop is there which is very much needed during exam times. Parlour is also there along with a canteen, a daily product shop etc. The hostel timings are 6 pm in winters and 7 pm in summers. Attendance is taken every day. Geeta Jayanti Festival held every year is very much renowned. Also, there is Dharohar, a place to know about the culture of villages. Rickshaw facility is there from hostel gate to main entrance gate with fixed charges of Rs. 30. Also, there are various small restaurants, juice corners present within the university premises.

B.A in mass communication with the best communication
Placements: As it was the project course that year and we were the first batch to qualify, we were not offered any placements at that time. Still, there are no such noticeable placements till now. As per the university acceptance is concerned, it is considered one of the best university in Haryana and nearby states. But still, the placements are an issue. One has to go out and search for options. Few of my juniors joined some reputed news agencies after the course and are getting handsome packages afterwards with minimum of 25k a month. They are into editorial and production houses.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs were provided, classrooms were well-maintained with competitive furniture. Proper light arrangements and ventilation made them even more attractive. Library facilities were also provided and you will get any book or reference in the library which you need. Most importantly, the medical facilities in the campus were also appreciable. There are no recreational and cultural stage. There are proper playgrounds for various sports. All the facilities were available within the campus.
Faculty: University offers one of the best curriculum for the course and made it very simple for students coming from various backgrounds. As the course line and curriculum were well-managed, it made things very easy for us to understand. Main focus of any curriculum should be providing detailed and industrial exposure of your field and the university has made it sure by providing such a curriculum. And icing on the cake are the faculty members who are well-learned and having exposure of the industry.

Other: My college is the best college in the world. So many facilities are available here. There is a huge library, which is fully air-conditioned, well furnished and has a capacity of 500 students at a time. The faculty of this university is very good and experienced. There are separate departments for each subject, having a separate library and with a good space. Students from other states also come here for taking admissions. This university is Grade A certified by NAAC. There is an auditorium, which is huge. About 150 people from various countries visit this place. The campus of KUK is touched with Braham Sarovar.
