Highly satisfied with this college.
Placements: I passed out in 2021, the percentage of students who were placed are very low, under 10% of the students got the placements. Many students got placed in Zuari, which is a well known company in Goa. They were offered Rs.25k as the starting salary + training.
Infrastructure: The facilities are great and they are able to provide the students with well maintained, working instruments and machines. The food quality is also satisfactory but not many options are available. The price range was also good enough, it was hygiene and well served.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and qualified. Except for a few, but they also give their best to help us understand the concepts and I appreciate them. The course curriculum make the students industry ready and the teachers always taught us to deal with problems that one faces at industry level. Semester exams weren't that difficult if you're well prepared, the passing percentage was 50%. To get into any industry, you must have a percentage of 65+.
Other: Events were organized, sports events were also conducted regularly and were amazing. The surroundings and environment were really well maintained as well.

A smooth and time efficient way to achieve a career in merchant navy.
Placements: The number of students in shipbuilding course always have a major number in comparison with other two available courses as it is the main and focused stream in the institution. The ratio of the stream in the institute for courses as shipbuilding, mechanical and electrical is 5:3:1. The highest offer would be 7lakh average would be 4lakh and the lowest average could go till 2.4lakh. The top recruiting companies are Goa shipyard limited, marman engineers, chowgule shipbuilders. And the same companies come forward for taking the students as interns.
Infrastructure: The education facilities are always upto mark! I haven't seen any such complaints over not providing proper labs and equipments! The hostel quality is not upto standard as there is no mess! There is really a great available sports equipment and ground aswell for sports time!
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified and experienced to mark their impact on the students as great source of learning! The teachers always get into touch with students in no hesitation and helping them with all suitable questions. The teaching quality was never a complaint from the students. This course gives hefty of knowledge and makes a student industry ready!
Other: I chose this career as it helped me to grow in my merchants navy career! I continued my studies in IMS and I have a really reputed job!
