B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
2.2

Review of Technology Research and Integrated Institute.
Placements: There are only a few students, only 10 to 15. Placements are not very good, however, companies visit the campus and hire students if they meet the qualifications and are clear with their degrees. The average package ranges from branch to branch, but it is generally low, about 2 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college building is big enough to be a good college. There are big labs, lecture halls, and the library is also good. But the building is old and has not been maintained properly. ACs are not working in labs and the library, and the water supply is also not very good. Toilets are absolutely trash. The hostel rooms are good and clean, but bathrooms are not clean, and washbasins are also dirty. The water cooler is not working, the Wi-Fi is not working, the gym is old, and the mess food is of very poor quality.
Faculty: Almost all teachers are underqualified, some of teachers are even freshers and have no experience in teaching. However, some teachers are good, cooperative, and very helpful. The curriculum is far from relevant, the syllabus is too old to get into the industry. Exams are moderately difficult, but the passing ratio is very low. In a batch, on average, 70% of students have to reappear in at least one subject.
Other: I choose B.Tech in AI because it is a growing field, and there is not too much competition for the next few years. Also, the salary is good.

Review of Technology Education and Research Integrated Institution.
Placements: The top companies come to recruit students every year, like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL etc. Good packages are offered to students. The highest package offered is 9.8 lacs per annum in the 2016 batch.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides every facility for students, like separate beds and cupboards with the best infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is provided for students with good speed and unlimited data. The mess staff are good. Fresh and hygienic food is served to students.
Faculty: The college has highly-qualified teachers, and they teach students with the best of their knowledge that helps them in semester exams. TERII is affiliated with Kurukshetra University, which conducts exams every semester. We have exams in September and June every year.

College and hostel are away from home.
Placements: Placements are average, i.e. 5 LPA-7 LPA. Many companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata, Maruti, Internshala, etc., conduct recruitment exams and group discussions for hiring in college. The minimum requirements are like CGPA of 7 or with no backlog and drop year. Some of the companies want above 70% in 12th standard. In our college, in B.Tech the highest package last year was approximately 7 LPA and the average was 3 LPA-5 LPA. If students don't follow the criteria but have skills and knowledge then the companies hire on as internship basis.
Infrastructure: The whole college has Wi-Fi coverage but in the hostel, the range can vary. The whole campus is fully air-conditioned and campus area is digital. Classrooms are also air-conditioned and digital like smart boards, projectors, and digital environment. The infrastructure of hostel and college is very good. Nice buildings and proper space for park and playgrounds for cricket and football and indoor games. Hostel fees is Rs. 39,500 per semester in which the rooms, electricity, mess, medical facilities, gym, Wi-Fi, etc., are included. Mess food is average.
Faculty: Exam level by the university is moderate for students. Teachers provide proper guidance for the syllabus so that students can crack the exams as well as competitive exams. Teachers provide practical knowledge which helps in placements and off-campus tests. Semester exams are held in college under the surveillance of examiners and controllers by the university. The passing mark is 30 which is out of 75 and the questions are in the syllabus. By completing the syllabus students can crack exams as well as ready for external exams under the right guidance.
Other: In the future, the B.Tech, CSE, and AI branch will grow and students can easily understand the concepts to relate to real life. Students have to mainly focus on practical knowledge, personality development, communication, commands on languages, skills, and theoretical knowledge. In the TERII campus students can brighten their future under the right guidance with fun and study. The college should make the transport facility better to avoid delays.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

It has really good infrastructure and facilities. The quality of food in the mess is not very well.
Placements: Around 40%-50% of students got placed from mechanical engineering. The average package offered in a mechanical engineering course is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies for mechanical engineering are Ralson and Maruti Suzuki. Reputed companies don't recruit from here. Around 20%-30% of students got internships in Ralson.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very well here. Wi-Fi is always activated here, and labs are always in working condition. Classrooms are always clean. The library is always open for everyone during college time and is always clean. Facilities provided in the hostel are very well, but one thing is that the quality of food served in the mess is not very well. Medical facilities are not available here. Sports and games are always organised here every year in February as sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here, and they are always ready to help. There are many teachers who are from NITs and reputable universities. They are very knowledgeable. This course is relevant to the curriculum. It makes students averagely industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a mechanical engineer. The best thing about this course is you get to learn about the different types of machines.

Absolutely good college if you want to learn something.
Placements: Almost 70 percent students got placement just after completion of the degree and the highest package was of 2.5 lac p.a. The average salary was 15 thousand. More than half of the class got internships in ICICI life and Axis bank. Some companies which came for placement drive were ICICI, Kent, Axis, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of institution is pretty good. There are 3 grounds for playing. It has spacious classrooms as well as multiple workshops and laboratories for students. There is a compter lab which has more than 500 laptops for students and Wi-Fi coverage all over the campus. Talking about hostel, it is good enough to stay. All the basic facilities are available. Food is good most of the times but sometimes it's average. There are equipments and courts for every game that is played generally.
Faculty: The teaching staff is incredible. They are helpful and humble to students. They are very friendly and they are full of knowledge. They create new ways to teach students. To boost confidence, they organise various viva during the curriculum and all the things in the viva are related to the course. So, in my opinion, they make a student ready for industry.
Other: I was interested in business so I went with this course. I found that it contains more practical knowledge than other courses and it actually helped me to start a new business. I don't think there is a need for any improvements in the course. Well, the college organises at least 4-5 events and fest every year. You can find a diverse crowd in this college. In my class there were students from Nepal Bihar UP Punjab and Haryana.

Good infrastructure, decent fees, and far from the city. It is the best place for self-development.
Placements: Placements aren't much from the college, but they help in the pool placement with the other colleges. I got placed with ICICI with a salary package of 2.5 LPA. Only 4 people got placed from our batch. They just put the placements as the secondary factor and don't give much pressure on that. Moreover, the morale of the students after the course is very much less.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and Wi-Fi services are good. Labs are equipped with computers with full 24x7 internet service. The library is also good with fans, no air-conditioner, and they only boast about it. The library is also open at night. The hostel food is fine. The rate of the hostel is ordinary, and the food they offer is good and efficient at that rate.
Faculty: Teachers here are good. A handful of experienced people are there in college, which helps you in growing as a person with the best qualities. It's up to the person how they perceive them. The course is good. Light management and decent bank jobs can be fetched easily.
Other: I always wanted to prepare for civil services, but the time management and the year gap is the main thing I worried about. This course gave me time and also knowledge of the market. The course can be improved with more placement orientation, live projects, and better-experienced teachers. Extracurricular activities are good on the campus.
