Honest review of our college.

Infrastructure: The campus is nice. The canteen food is very good, but the price is too high. The hostel is pretty average. Overall, it is a good college when we consider all the factors.

Review of JD Birla Institute, Kolkata.

Infrastructure: The college uses technology everywhere. For example, the ID card that the college provides has a separate barcode for each student, which is used for entry and exit in the library. All classrooms are fully air-conditioned, with water coolers on each floor. The college lacks in the field of sports.

Management is not good, otherwise it’s fine.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, library and labs are good but there is no wifi available for the students. Benches in the classrooms are not very comfortable. Canteen is also not available in the campus. I stay in a flat so I do not have any idea about the hostel which is located off-campus. Eateries are not easily available for the studenst.

The Jdbian experience of 5 years - curriculum, feels, placements and more.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is up-to-date. Classes are wi-fi enabled with projectors and whiteboards. Additional, classrooms are compact and just right for the class strength of the college. Library has also necessary resources and students have the option of placing order from any important book that is available. Canteen has improved a lot over the recent years. Basic medical facility is available for students in college. The utility store is very useful for anything you need be it snack...

Opportunities and resources are very limited.

Infrastructure: The course is well structured and provides deep information about the subject. It is probably one of the best in the country. The infrastructure of college is very mediocre as the campus is very limited with resources. Wi-Fi, library and a recreational room is available. There are no hostels associated with the college, one needs to find accommodation on their own. However many good pgs are available in the area.

I am satisfied with the knowledge provided by the college and the campus life.

Infrastructure: There are many labs and a library. The college is located in a very peaceful and lush green environment. There is a badminton court. Classrooms and labs are air-conditioned. The college has Wi-Fi. It has well-built labs with all equipment. The library is huge, with an online facility. Classrooms are well-maintained. The canteen provides healthy and ready-to-eat food.

Best place for nutrition enthusiasts.

Infrastructure: The building is located in the main area of Kolkata, so the campus life is great. It is well-equipped with libraries, Wi-Fi etc. The classrooms are equipped with AC, and there is a nutrition clinic within the college itself to provide the students a better exposure in the Industry. The labs have modern equipments. The physiology lab is used for blood test etc. There is also culinary lab, microbiology lab etc.

An excellent college as we get both studies and extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure: There are many labs and a library too. The college is located in a very peaceful and lush green environment. There is a badminton court too. Classrooms are air-conditioned and the labs too. Proper sports facilities, Wi-Fi, and books are available.

Review of J.D Birla Institute (JDBI).

Infrastructure: The library is amazing here. If you bring your laptop to the college, you will get the Wi-Fi password, or else you will not get it. Classrooms and labs are good, spacious and fully air-conditioned. The institute does not provide a hostel facility, and you have to look for PG to stay around as the college timings for B.Com are early morning. PGs generally serve Marwari vegetarian food. They are expensive, but they are comfortable in the area.

The ambiance of our college is pretty good, and the teachers are well-qualified.

Infrastructure: Our college is very small, and it is in an L-shape with minimum sports. However, it is well-developed with air-conditioners in every classroom, labs and library. The library is huge and has a lot of books. It has a canteen, medical facilities, auditorium and a recreational area for students to enjoy.

Review of J.D Birla Institute.

Infrastructure: The food provided in the canteen is average. Wi-Fi is available to use in laptops, but not mobile phones. The classrooms are good, some are spacious, and some are small, but all are air-conditioned. A library and a sick-room are available.

I am satisfied with the curriculum, but the infrastructure can be improved.

Infrastructure: Classes have good arrangements, but the campus is very small, which may restrict the number of activities. Only badminton and throwball facilities are available. Classrooms are good, and only 60 people are allotted per class, so there is enough space as well. All classes do not have the projector facilities, so that might cause a problem sometimes. The library has a good number of resources and an internet connection for student use.

I had a good undergraduation experience at the main campus.

Infrastructure: It was a small but good campus to make memories. We had a xerox, print out facility in the lane and a utility store on the campus for stationary. Every facility that you might need to finish the course smoothly was available on the campus. You get access to Wi-Fi for laptops but with restrictions.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members but the college offers good placements.

Infrastructure: The library of the college is good. Canteen quality is fine, and other facilities such as medical facilities and extracurricular activities are not that good. I am very dissatisfied as they are not up to the mark. They should work on it to make it better and enhance the structure.

2nd Best College in Kolkata for B.Com (H) BBA.

Infrastructure: Not a hostel student, so can't really say about it. But as regards to the infrastructure of the campus, its okayish, quite average. Lots of improvements are really required. The quality of food of the canteen is also okay. Scope for better definitely. Rest all like medical facilities, Wi-Fi, games etc., is good.
