Given the current conditions, the university is not upto the expectations of few.
Placements: There is no on-campus placement cell so if one wants to get placed in a job, then one has to go off-campus. Doing B.Sc. Only makes you eligible to apply for a master's degree in any university, or to give the competitive exams which require Bachelor's degree.
Infrastructure: Being one of the oldest and reputed institution in our country, the Allahabad University has ample space for students and has very good spacious building serving all the academic and extra-curricular needs. There are number of grounds and courts for various sports and there is a seperate 2 storey library which holds more than enough books.
Faculty: Teachers in the institution are knowledgeable and well qualified but, the teaching quality varies from department to department. The department pf psychology here provides the best psychology teaching in our country. The various Science departments are good too.

Satisfied with the faculty. University is very good for studying.
Placements: The placements are not good in B.Sc as it is the course of research. Although, the college provides good practicals as well as lectures. It depends upon an individual as what they want from course. Students have to manage themselves for government jobs, but at the same time professor are very helpful in studies.
Infrastructure: The college has a very traditional infrastructure look that makes us feel very good. It has sports facilities. It has a library with sufficient books for course and knowledge. College provides hostels for both boys and girls separately with food. Canteen is also there with sufficient stuff.
Faculty: The professors were very helpful in providing notes and lectures. They are qualified and experienced with enough knowledge. For a keen knowledge of topic practical were regularly conducted. The course was very useful for students in seeking science. The college has enough crowd to handle and be here.
Other: Events are awesome in AU. The campus crowd is also good. Scholarships are very good (U.P scholarship).

A lot of freedom and introspect.
Placements: There is no campus selection for this course. The students prefer either to go for Masters or to prepare for one-day examinations. The inclination and the motivation around the campus, however, encourage a lot of students to make their career in civil services. As per the reports and buzz, few companies may come from next year onwards.
Infrastructure: The campus is entirely wi-fi enabled with excellent speed, and the hostels also have the connectivity. Classrooms are very spacious, comfortable and airconditioned. Library of this campus is the biggest in the whole state with two buildings specially dedicated to it. Quality of food in the canteen is average, but then you will find nice and cheap dhabas outside the campus. Sports and sports-related activities are at par with other central universities. I did not face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure.
Faculty: Faculty members at the campus are just like the other central university, annoyed and less in number. Teachers are not helpful at all but are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average at the campus. Student to faculty ratio is about 50:1. There is no industrial exposure. The course curriculum was helpful for top institute entrance examinations and in masters degree.

In my point of view, nice faculty and infrastructure, but, placement is bad.
Placements: There are no placements available here and don't hope for placements as the chances here are very slim. If you want to study, then only you should come here. Also, no internship is available here. After this course, you can take admissions into M.Sc. After that, you can prepare for the CSIR-NET JRF.
Infrastructure: There is a nice infrastructure here with a Wi-Fi enabled campus. It is one of the oldest university because of the buildings here are very old. But, it has nicely ventilated rooms and the seating arrangement is also good here. There is also a nice campus here. This is a central university and because of this lab here are very good, and the apparatus here are well-maintained. Also, Wi-Fi is available here along with hostels. Here, rooms are also very good, and water coolers are available in the hostel. The indoor and outdoor stadium here are also available here. I didn't have issue's regarding the infrastructure at the University of Allahabad.
Faculty: There are nice faculty and very qualified teachers available here. They are very helpful in terms of practical work and has 120 students sitting in one class. There are the world-class and experienced professors here. I didn't get any industrial exposure here. Also, the course curriculum here is also very useful, and I got a lot of knowledge via this course.

Why to study at University of Allahabad.
Placements: Placements are not good and are offered to those who are doing technical courses like media studies and B.Tech. From the year 2017, a new placement cell and the building has been dedicated to the placements and the results of placements for the year 2017 were quite good. Average placement ranges from Rs. 3-6 Lakhs per annum depending upon the course chosen.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. Every department has its own library. There is a full green campus with 3 -full fledged grounds for the sport's enthusiasts. There are 10 boys hostels and 5 separate hostels for girls with good security. Girls hostels are also provided with a gym facility.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and courses that have been started in the last 5 years are alluring students from all over India and even from its outside. The course curriculum is entirely designed by keeping in mind the competitive exams like IIT, JAM, UGC, NET.
Other: The campus crowd here is very decent. Scholarships are available for the poor and underprivileged children. Fests and seminar are organised at regular intervals. Transport connectivity is very good, and university buses are also there in the college hours.
