Good placements and infrastructure, but teaching quality needs improvement.
Placements: In our course, over 90% of students are successfully placed, with the highest package reaching 25 LPA, the lowest at 4 LPA, and an average of 10 LPA. Top recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Deloitte. Around 85% secured internships at leading firms like TCS, Infosys, and ZS Associates. Top roles offered such as software developer, data analyst, and business consultant.
Infrastructure: The department offers well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to a comprehensive library to support academic excellence. Hostel facilities are decent with regular maintenance, hygienic washrooms, and 24X7 security. Mess and canteen provide nutritious food with varied options, while medical facilities and sports infrastructure ensure students' health and well-being are well taken care of.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and possess strong subject knowledge, contributing to a solid learning experience. The curriculum is well-structured and updated regularly to meet industry standards, ensuring students are job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a high pass percentage reflecting effective teaching and student support.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my interests and offers strong career prospects. The best part is the practical exposure, experienced faculty, and industry-relevant curriculum. However, I wish there are more hands-on projects, updated lab equipment, and broader internship support. Campus has a lively crowd, regular fests, good connectivity, and active extracurricular. Scholarships are available for deserving students.

The college has good infrastructure, teachers, and sports facilities.
Placements: Placement is not there in our college. No recruitment by companies. No internship in my course. Just get a graduate degree. As others are no such companies which directly recruit from our college. Our college doesn't provide placement it's just a graduate college.
Infrastructure: It has well well-instructed classroom with AC, a lab fully furnished, well build a well-built library with all the books required for newspapers and magazines. There is no hostel for boys, but a sports event is organized every year. The medical and counseling room is there for students. Everything is run in a disciplined manner.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well knowledgeable. They are very down to earth and focus on every student properly. Lab facilities are provided regularly. Semester exams are quite tough. It needs proper preparation with regular classes. The pass percentage is 34%.
Other: I opted for this course because I just want to graduate. Fests are organized every year.

Not too good but considerable for student who just want to study only without any college life.
Placements: There is no placement after graduation course from this college as no placement cell is present in this college for welfare of students. Most students after passing out pursue further education as master's degree or any professional course to secure their future.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by this college. Private hostels and PGs are available which provide facilities with an average budget of Rs 10,000.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are not best but they are very good. They are very dedicated to teach us without any message. Students who pass the exams are very less as the exams are very hard. It has very strict guidelines that follow so no cheating during exams. The percentage is very low given to students. Our biotechnology course is one of the best courses in the nation. Graduation syllabus includes the syllabus of further competitive exams like Maths. The most important part is that it includes Maths in one semester.
Other: ECC is located on the bank of river Yamuna and in the city market place where lots of daily trading occurs. Also, a very large veg market is on the way to college so lots of traffic jams around this college. College has nearby railway station and bus stop for better connectivity. Scholarships are not provided to students, only Uttar Pradesh government scholarships are provided to students.

Ewing Christian College - Best or the worst affiliated college of Allahabad University.
Placements: Placement is not so good as there are very few companies visiting the cell and all companies that came to hire researched for toppers of the academic and postgraduate. There are no internships or anything for undergraduates and you will miss this thing.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not provided you have to rent a private hostel or PG and that's a major drawback of the college. There is a separate hostel for girls but that too was closed around 7 years ago. So this is also the major drawback even though it's the best college of Allahabad University.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and supportive. The decorum is maintained very well. There's a good connection between teachers and students and principal is also very supportive. The teaching staff seems like a family helpful in every situation whether it's a good or a bad one.
Other: I have done B.Sc. In Biology. I will recommend this college to those who are good at studies and those who will be studying with their full potential. Otherwise, the college does not have a semester-back system they have a year-back system.

Value for money college, and I recommend my friends to take admission there.
Placements: Around 10% of the students are placed in my college, with the highest packages being 10 lakhs per annum and the lowest at 2 lakhs per annum. Around 10% of them were given the score top roles for biotechnologist and biotechnician.
Infrastructure: The facilities available for our course departments are impressive. We have good labs and very nice classrooms, alongside a large library that contains all types of books. Wi-Fi with excellent speed is also available, and the quality of our hostels is great. The food quality is moderate; it's not too bad, but it’s not exceptional either. Medical facilities are present, and we have a large sports field for games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, with a teaching quality rating of around 4 out of 5. However, I should mention that teachers emphasize more on each student's learning. The course curriculum is highly relevant and prepares us for the biotechnology industry.
Other: The best aspect of my course is that it provides knowledge about vaccines and how biotechnology can help human welfare. One area for improvement would be to include more workshops.
