B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering from a recognised board.
M.Sc.Candidate must have passed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. 3YDC) with Physics as one of the major or main subject in all the examinations or equivalent examination by University approved by UGC, New Delhi/AIU, New Delhi in appropriate branch with at least mentioned marks or equivalent Grade in the aggregate. Candidates belonging to Reserve Categories of Madhya Pradesh will get relaxation in the qualifying marks as per the rules of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Admission to Applied Science Courses shall also be given to the Engineering Graduates having B.E. Degree with Grade C+ and Grade point 6.0 of this University or equivalent are also eligible to apply.
M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant branch of Engg./Technology with above mentioned percentage. The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents. Candidate belonging to OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh should have at least 45%. Bachelors degree should be of minimum of four years duration and have been obtained from any AICTE approved institution or Indian University/ Institute or from a foreign University recognised by AIU or any Institutes of national importance (i.e. IITs/ IISc/NITs etc.) duly recognised by the MHRD, as equivalent thereto. Candidates in the Final year of above degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis. Rounding of marks or percentage is not permissible.
