Review of Jabalpur Engineering College.

Placements: We 19 persons took admission in this course, and 9 were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA and the minimum was 3 LPA, the package we got. L&T is the biggest recruiter for our course, and we all got internships by our own efforts. The TPO was not very supportive for our placement. We got the post of Trainee Design Engineer after placement.

Infrastructure: In our course, the lab was good. The college has a good set of computers but does not have good lab assistants to provide a good set of knowledge. The hostels are good, with good-sized rooms, and the area is good; you can easily find PG accommodations. There are 12 hostels for boys and 4 for girls.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they are arrogant and work like sarkari offices. The old curriculum is never updated, and students are not ready for the industry with a lack of a good skill set. Semester exams are easy, based on previous papers, and easy to crack with 28 marks out of 70 being passing marks.
