Useless for life sciences.

Placements: All departments have a 90% placement rate in the college. Number of companies visiting for placements has increased from last years. JSS Hospital, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Cronus Pharma Pvt. Ltd, IncepBio Specialities India Pvt. Ltd, Sigma Hospital are top recruiters. Roles can be of mental health assessor, counselor, clinical psychologist, etc. Yearly package till 2020 was around INR 5 Lacs but now reduced to around INR 3 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Good facilities of Wi-Fi, labs, canteen and small coffee shops are there. Canteen has good food with cheap price and a lot of variety to choose from. There are separate libraries for medical and life Science students and also has a Digital Library. Life sciences library is very small. Medical library is huge. The college has JSS dental and normal JSS hospital. Sports and hostel facilities are good. Playground and indoor sports complex is there with badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc. Separate hostels for boys and girls, life sciences and medical students. Hostel is expensive but facilities and food are good.

Faculty: Psychology faculty are not good, not upto the required mark. Not knowledgeable or well qualified. They often leave the college and we face a lot of difficulty in understanding their teaching methods. Syllabus of psychology is interesting and good but some subjects are useless and outdated. They can be replaced with better subjects that can be actually useful for us. Sem exams are tough but passable. Pass percentage is good. Teaching quality is very bad for this course. We have to study and understand everything on our own. Teachers can't answer doubts properly. The course is good but this college is the worst choice for Psychology.

Other: Our batch had 80 students. A lot of improvement is required in our faculty and syllabus. Campus life is good. Events and fests are organized but very poor management of fests in life sciences. Too much partiality is there.

It provides excellent infrastructure, faculty members, and other facilities.

Placements: There were no placements. As to be a psychologist needs a masters degree and if students want to be a clinical psychologists it needs an M.Phil as well, and doing B.Sc. in psychology will give a good foundation for further education.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this university was excellent. It was a medical college and dental hospital, as well as students, can understand the level of hygiene they maintain. The classrooms were well-equipped with smartboards as well as writing boards, and there was a library and laboratories with all the required equipment. Students also had access to free Wi-Fi on the campus. Students get a medical card that was valid until their course which facilitates free consultation to any medical department within the JSS hospital. Sports events were conducted annually with other cultural programs. The canteen was well maintained with proper hygiene and food tastes were good.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, knowledgeable, and also approachable. The teaching quality was great. The curriculum was designed in such a way that it was very helpful in further studies, as I am doing a master's in clinical psychology now. The things I studied in bachelor's were now very helpful. Exams were structured hard and done in exam halls with the highest security. Students trying to copy cannot even enter the exam hall. Students should maintain the passing percentage throughout the 3-year course and in case they fail any subject, students will pass the same incoming semesters along with that semester's exams.

Other: I opted for this course as I could not get a seat in the medical field. But I feel that choosing this course was the best thing I did as this helped me to be the closest to the medical field, and now I am doing a medical course in the field of psychology.
