Christ University – The essence of academics and holistic development.

Placements: Highest package is 15 LPA, and the median package is 7 LPA. The top companies recruiting are Syngene, Biocon, and Dr. Reddy's. 100% of the students get internships, as it is compulsory for students from the 2nd year to intern, since the program is accredited. The top roles offered are junior researcher.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good on my campus, and the classrooms are well-maintained and improved on a timely basis. We have two libraries: the UG library and the central library. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and have projectors fitted in them.

Faculty: Professors are very experienced and have worked in the field for a while. They are friendly and use very good teaching methods, with a balance of practical and theory, which makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I had a deep interest in molecular biology and CRISPR, which made me choose this particular course that I am doing right now. We have a cultural event called Darpan.

Satisfied totally with the teaching and the green campus.

Placements: I have no idea about placements but as far as my teachers say, the number of students getting placed is increasing every year and top companies recruit them. There is evidence of people working in foreign companies. But it is better to complete M.Sc and then go for job hunt.

Infrastructure: Classes are not bad and the labs are satisfactory. There is no hostel for the people graduating from this course. We have many eateries so do not worry about food. We have a very beautiful sports field for each and every game. There is a supportive coach as well.

Faculty: All the faculty members have PhD and they are very helpful. Teaching is done mainly using projecting tools and it is very much informative than the plain books. Semester exams are not so tough but it takes time to get adjusted to them. The college follows UGC curriculum very strictly.

Other: For my course, the interview process is not so tough. It provides a triple major and most importantly, biotech will be like a lifesaver. This college is the perfect example for fests and other stuff.

I recommend this college for our course.

Placements: The campus provides the best opportunities for placements as well as internships in various countries. It purely depends on how hard you work and develop your skills. Placements for Masters's students are pretty good. They are usually offered with a minimum package of 5.5 LPA and a maximum of 7 LPA. Many MNCs, like Biocon and Bharat Biotech, recruit students.

Infrastructure: The central campus has 5 blocks, of which block one is the oldest, and the life sciences department is located over there. Classrooms in our block are not that great, but other blocks that have been constructed recently have the best ones with great infrastructure. Laboratories are well-equipped and all functional. Hostel rooms are good. They clean it every day, but the food is not provided. Wi-Fi is available. Sports facilities are pretty good, but it all goes through a selection process. A gym facility is also there.

Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified, knowledgeable, and student-friendly. They come up with various innovative ideas to make us learn. Seminars, projects, research articles, and assignments have to be done by every student. The course curriculum is very good and it includes almost all the techniques that have to be learned by a student. Semester examinations happen very strictly with no bias system, using a unique bar code system for evaluation instead of writing a register number or name.

Other: I like biology, so I chose this course. Biotechnology is a technology that utilises biology and its applications technically to serve mankind. This college is best for this course. Fests and events will be happening regularly. One or another thing will be happening every day.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and good faculty members and placements.

Placements: The placements provided for our course are good. Around 40% to 50% of the students from our batch got placements in companies across the globe. The salary package varies a lot depending on the company in which students get placed. Most of the students from our batch have done at least one internship.

Infrastructure: The classrooms here are clean and well maintained. Projectors have been provided in every classroom, and they work well. Labs and the equipment are in good condition. Wi-Fi has been provided by our college, and it works well. A variety of food items are provided in our college at affordable price. The medical and sports facilities are great here.

Faculty: The teachers here are really knowledgeable and help us a lot with our studies. They not only help us with our studies but also talk about taking care of ourselves during these COVID-19 times. The course curriculum is really good and helps students to understand which field they should pursue.

Placements are poor in a few departments.

Placements: There are fewer placements for this course at our college. Placements are poor.

Infrastructure: Structure and infrastructure are good. Hostel and campus are very good, and all the facilities are amazing. Library facilities are better, and the Wi-Fi is also good. Labs facilities and classrooms are good. The campus is good with an eco-friendly environment, clean air and less pollution. The college has waste management. Lab infrastructure is amazing. Books in the library are amazing. Food and sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good, and knowledge circulation is pretty good. The college provides quality education with a friendly environment and lots of activities. Teaching is amazing here, and the teachers are also good.

Bachelor of Science (BCB).

Placements: Since we are Science students and Science related companies do not offer jobs unless you are a minimum of an M.Sc. Graduate. Not many Science related companies were present. Having said that there were many companies that were related to commerce and other fields for which the students were allowed to apply for.

Infrastructure: Christ has the best Wi-Fi system which is unlimited. There are two libraries, one the main library and the other knowledge pro where more than the required number of books are present. Various kinds of sports and facilities, and a doctor is always present in the campus.

Faculty: The faculty is very well qualified with most of them having a Ph.D. And the curriculum is designed so as to help students score better in any kind of life Science related competitive exams, and encourages the students to take research as their main area of interest.

Other: Christ University is a nurturing campus. Apart from the academics it inculcates holistic development. Personally I have benefited a lot from the activities organized within the college. When it comes to placements this particular course of BSc in BCB does not have placements, but it trains students to take up higher education in similar fields and motivated students to become scientists. The faculty are few in number and so is the student intake compared to other departments making it a close knit family. Overall Christ University is one such college that helps an individual to develop in a 360 degree perspective.
