Review of Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic.

Placements: College provides placements to some students. But all placements are contract-based. After one month of joining company said that there is no work right now. The maximum salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month without accommodation. The starting salary offered was Rs. 6,000 per month. There is no permanent job in the company. All the job are offered as a trainee under the contractor. Top companies do not visit our campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. All the labs are equipped with Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are equipped with a projector. The library is good, and all the books are available for the students. Wi-Fi facility is available only available in the computer labs. The hostel is really good. Food served to the students is hygienic, and they serve the food 2 times. Medical facilities are available to the students all the time. The hostel has a separate common room with indoor and outdoor games. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. There is purified water, all-time power backup, and security guard 24x7. Electrical engineering labs have all the lab equipment, but not all are in working conditions.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They help us all the time. They teach us in a very easy manner. The college does not prepare students for interview and field jobs. They do not build up students confidence for the interview.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is in the mother trade. In the current market situation, not many jobs are available, but in electrical engineering, there is a scope for jobs. Labs need to be improved. They could add some career building and self-improvement classes. Some events, like Saraswati Puja, Mahalaya programme, etc., are organised at our college. Fests are not organised in our college. Connectivity was good. Train and bus facility is available. But the surrounding was not that great. The scholarship is available for the students. Extracurricular activities are not conducted at our college.

I like our college and teachers.

Placements: I am Binod Sheikh, and I like our college Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic. I am a student in the electrical department, and I am thankful to my teacher for their support. I always like and respect our college owner Jakir Hossain sir.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college like high-speed internet, Wi-Fi facility, special lab, beautiful classrooms and an awesome library. Hostel facilities are awesome, and good quality food is available in the mess and canteen. There are also medical facilities.

Faculty: I am thankful to our college teachers and madam, and I really proud of them. They are helpful and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like electrical. I wish that our college should improve our course. Our college organises many events and fests.
