Jamshedpur Workers' College Review .
Placements: Only 2-3% of students were placed in the last year’s placement round. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The average pay is 2.5 LPA. Gillette, Tata Motors, and Tata Steel were the top recruiting companies. No one got an internship. The top role offered was software development.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good, but college infrastructure is the worst. The learning environment is not that good, but it is a cheaper college, so new students can consider it in a way that it is not going to provide the best environment for students to study, learn, etc. There is a sports facility, dedicated staff for sports as well, but I'm sure it is not in good condition. All the labs are old with bad infrastructure. Computers are too old in the computer lab and also they do not provide learning facilities after the power cut, which is very bad for the future of students.
Faculty: Curriculum is good, relevant, and well-designed. Most of the faculty members are good, helpful, qualified, and well-behaved. Exams do not happen on time, but they are manageable. Semester exams are not that difficult as in an IIT or NIT. After the semester exam at different centers, this college organises Internal Exams for its students, which is easy as per my experience.
Other: I was pursuing B.Sc. in Information and Technology. I thought I would get a good education here, but it didn't meet my expectations. I think the computer lab can be renovated, and systems can be updated. As it is a government college, they provide scholarship facilities but only for OBC, SC, ST, and Minority Communities.

Best college for a student with a low budget.
Placements: Actually, there are placement offers, but they are offering below 10,000 per month. And placement offers are given in local places like share shops, call centers, malls and small places because students can't join them. My seniors are not given any interviews for placement because their chances are very low.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities in the hostel. By the way, infrastructure is average because there is no playing area. But students can play indoor games. There are facilities for wi-fi and a good classroom and the best part of this college is its library, where you can learn lots of things to read books.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have great knowledge about their subjects but there are a lot of teachers. By the way, teachers are giving their best to students, and if students give attention to their studies, then they do better in examinations. Semester exams are at an average level because the pass percentage is greater than 80%.
Other: I chose science because of my interest in physics. The best thing in this course is knowing well about your subject. I wish to improve about the course by giving practical classes to do practical. Lots of events are happening. But there are no scholarship programs because the fees are too low!

Our college is not that much good, but it is cheap and good for study.
Placements: 0% of students were placed from our college. Our college didn't offer any type of package in our course. We didn't get any recruiting companies for our and any course. 0% of students got any type of internship from our course. We weren't offered any type of roles from our college or course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and classes was not good. Our college infrastructure needed renovation. We didn't have any Wi-Fi or lab access in our course, and maybe our college didn't have any Wi-Fi facility for students. Our college didn't have any hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was also good. For me, this course curriculum was relevant. Study-wise, it helped make students industry-ready. The semester exams were a little bit difficult, but if you studied well, then they not that difficult. 35% was the passing percentage.
Other: I was a commerce student that's why I chose this course, and this course was perfect and easy for me. The best thing about this course was that it was easy and understandable. Nothing I think it's already much better. Our college doesn't do any events, fest or something we have to go another university for that type of activities.

If you do well you can make into the real world easily.
Placements: It is okay, but don't get your hopes up because there are a lot of students, and if you don't study hard enough, there is no chance for us. You can also try to do internships, but I will recommend trying to do at least 5 to 6 types of internships if you want to be recruited.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and the canteen is very dull. I don't know about medical facilities, but sports and games are okay. The departments are also okay, and classrooms are big, but they don’t have proper visibility. I can't see the board from where I sit. I should suggest them to get a bigger board at least.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful. They help us, and they are more than qualified for this. They are knowledgeable about what they teach. The quality is a little low because not many teachers can do all the things. The pass percentage is average, and the exams are difficult, but it is okay because difficulty doesn’t matter—hard work matters.
Other: You can go for this if you study well. I have ambitions of doing better things after passing this, and I have a lot of time to think about it. After I pass, I can go into society and do many things. There are more events, a good campus crowd, and scholarships that I can achieve.

Most honest review of Workers college must read before taking admission .
Placements: As I have taken admission in B.Sc. in workers college Jamshedpur the professor over there told me that college offer placement but they didn't but in some other courses the placement is there for them. Currently I'm working in tisco and I've taken my study from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the worse we can SEE the rod over the pillars and the pillars are broken even there is no sports facility and college professor don't promote any other sports opportunity or any other fest, for student like sports take admission somewhere else.
Faculty: The examination over here are average like other college there is no cheating and all even its government college and I'm happy with the fair student as I'm too, and there is no attendance required for giving exams if you consider taking part time study you can go with this college .

I am dissatisfied with this college and I don't recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Placements and internships were not provided in our college and companies did not visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average which was manageable but sanitation was bad. Our college didn't have labs, Wi-Fi, a canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games except for the library and classrooms. Hostels and canteens were not available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified but not dedicated to teaching students. They weren't helpful. The course curriculum didn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams were not hard but students need to study for good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I was a commerce student. Teaching environment was not good which should be improved. Events were organised frequently. The campus crowd was uncontrollable during our time. Scholarships were not provided. Campus surroundings were not good. Extracurricular activities were not organised in our college.
