Overall, it is not a good college in my knowledge.
Placements: In our college, there are no placements. Companies do not come here for placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Only one building is there on campus, and there are no better lab facilities. There is no hostel facility. The hostel is under construction for the last 6 years. There are no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but they don't teach well. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in our college are not much difficult.
Other: The faculty team must be improved.

It is the number 1 engineering college in HP.
Placements: Approximately 10% of students got placed. In Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar, the lowest package is 9 LPA, and the highest package is 20-25 LPA. Companies like Havells, PA, Pinions, etc., recruit students here. Students can gain good and proper practical knowledge here.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. The college is located on the top of a hill, so students have to struggle every morning to reach college. The hostel is under construction. 75% attendance is mandatory for every student in each subject to attend the exams.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and experienced. The teaching quality is good. The college makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not difficult. The minimum passing marks are 24 in each subject.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in the mechanical field. The best thing about my course is that it is very vast and offers many job opportunities. Providing more practical knowledge can improve my course. Every year, many events are organised by the college, like Task (annual function), Chakravyuh (roadies, indoor and outdoor games etc.). and a sports meet (only indoor games).

It is a great college with staff and facilities.
Placements: For placements, students have to clear their degrees with good marks. After the completion of the degree, students are offered great packages from leading manufacturers or companies in the automobile sector or others. Although staff are very good, and help in placements.
Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel is under construction, so there is no availability of any hostel. Students have to stay in PGs or rooms provided by the local people. The infrastructure of this college is very good, and all the required facilities are provided which are essential for the studies of a student.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality offered by the college is also very good. Proper laboratories are provided for the practical knowledge of the students. Semester exams are in difficulty level, it depends on the students.

I am satisfied with placements, very good faculty members and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered was about 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Private sector companies are the top recruiter. All students of the final year got an internship. Roles like workers, engineers head, manager, maintenance engineers, etc., are offered in the private sector, which is the main scope in the respective field.
Infrastructure: It is a Wi-Fi campus. Classrooms are smart, big and airy, and there are big computer labs with nearly 50 systems. There is also a big library block with 14,000 books in the engineering field. The hostel is big, but it is under construction. The canteen is neat and clean and also provides fast food. Medical facilities are good. Our college supports students who are good at sports. There is also NCC and NSS in our college.
Faculty: All the teachers are good and well-qualified. They have enough knowledge in their respective field, and they have a vast knowledge of their subjects. The teaching quality is very good. All the teachers are very kind and helpful. The course curriculum that our college provides is relevant. It prepares students for work in various industries.

Our college is doing its best day by day and has a really good infrastructure.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed in various companies, while some other students have qualified in government exams. The average salary package offered in the previous batch was around 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The placement cell is developing, and in the next 2-3 years, the placements would be great.
Infrastructure: A high-speed Wi-Fi facility is available here, and there are well-equipped labs. There is also a huge library, and classrooms are well furnished. There is a canteen on our campus, where you can buy snacks. The biggest drawback here is there are no hostel and mess facility. The hostel is under construction. Sports facilities are available, but the size of the college ground is very small.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, and they are very helpful and honest. Most of them motivate you every time. There are only four courses in our college, and faculty members are doing their best.

The college has a peaceful environment with good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA and the average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Companies like HP and IBM are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with roles like versatility, leadership qualities and technical skills. Almost 80% of the students got an internship in companies like BEL, BSNL, CDAC, etc.
Infrastructure: Free Jio Wi-Fi is available on the campus, but the data is limited. Labs are fully equipped, and classrooms are also good with a good atmosphere. The library is of 3 floors with many books, computers and a sitting area. There is no hostel now, but the hostel building is under construction. There is a medical room, and for sports, there is a good environment.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and helpful. They help you in any aspect of your life, and also they are a good counsellor. They give their 200% in teaching. Teachers help students in every event and also understand the problem of every student. The course curriculum is not relevant, and for getting industry-ready more practical work is needed.
Other: I have chosen this course because to increase technical skills. The best thing is the environment of the campus and labs. The college should provide more practical than theory. Fests are held in our college every year for 3 days, and sports meet is also conducted for 2 days. Other groups are also active throughout the year. Scholarships are also available for needy students.

I am highly satisfied with the college in terms of faculty, infrastructure and other facilities.
Placements: From my batch, three students got placed. From my senior batch, only one student got placed. The salary offered ranged from Rs. 13,000-40,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Most of the companies that visited the college are related to call centre profile. The university provides internships to the reserved class students whose family income is less than 1.5 LPA. It is also provided based on their brilliance and merit. The stipend ranges from Rs. 2,000-18,000 per month, and the average stipend offered is Rs. 6,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are free Wi-Fi for students, computer labs, library, and sports. There are no medical facilities on the campus. Food available in the canteen is very good. There is no hostel. I didn't face any issues related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not helpful. The teaching quality is average. The student to facility ratio during my time is 24:1. I didn't get industry exposure. I can't explain my college life in words. I didn't even think that I could get this type of college.
Other: The annual festivals are organised on a semester basis, i.e., from January to July in the mid-semester break, and in between August to December. The campus crowd is 1000. Students arrange the tasks, annual festival and extracurricular activities. Nalayak music band was invited in 2018 during the task. Sports are conducted among different teams.

A reputed college which provides value for money.
Placements: Placements in our college were decent for textile and electronics engineering, but they were not that good for civil and mechanical branches. The average salary package offered was a bit less when compared to the private counterparts. However, placements have started improving with the junior batches. The average salary package has slightly improved compared to the 2016 batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was okay. The institute has labs, classrooms, A-V room, Wi-Fi, academic block and workshops. Quality of classrooms is good, and they are equipped with projectors, camera and good systems. Labs are good, but some of the equipment has become obsolete. The college lacks hostel facilities and ground for playing various sports.
Faculty: The course curriculum was very good for the overall development of a student. The course curriculum has both management and technical subjects. Teachers were well-qualified. As it is a government institute, they need to qualify an exam to become a teacher. The teachers were very cooperative too. Industry exposure was provided as industrial training was a part of the curriculum.
Other: Campus surroundings were very good. The college conducts 2 fests every year, and students are very passionate and enthusiastic.
