B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2027

Not satisfied with infrastructure and college life.
Placements: CSE (AI and ML) in this college started recently in 2022, that's why they do not have any record till now for placements. The first batch of this course is in 3rd year now, maybe next year we can get some information about placements in the CSE branch. Whereas other branches placements are average and mostly the textile branch has the highest package till now. Companies like TCS visit mostly.
Infrastructure: I have already told that this is a new course here, so facilities like infrastructure and labs are still not that good. They may extend it with time. Classrooms and library are quite good as we expected. There is shortage of teachers currently in CSE only. Hostel facility is available. The quality of food is average according to the fees they take. Canteen facility is available and it is good. Medical facility is not so good but the college is near a government and private hospital. Sports are available but do not have enough ground.
Faculty: Experienced teachers and newbie teachers are there in the college. Somewhere they make us feel little discomfort due to lack of experience but those who are experienced, they are doctorate and Ph.D. holders. The curriculum comes under NEP, hence the course is built for making industry-ready students. Exams are quite average and minimum 24 marks are required to score during finals. Somewhere it depends on paper checking also.
Other: It is a government college, and has AI and ML that's why I choose this course. The location is quite good and peaceful. It would be great if they extended the college boundaries, adding some grounds and a separate building for the CSE department. Till now, I have attended only small functions and events in the college. There has been no festival or any other big event held till now. Scholarships are quite helpful for those students who have weak backgrounds.

Genuine review of JNGEC.
Placements: The placement of the college is very poor; not everyone gets placed here, with only one or two people securing jobs. This college also does not have a placement department. The highest package from this college is 10 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and college is very nice, but Wi-Fi is not available in the college or the hostel, and the mess is very poor. The classrooms are spacious and nice. The surroundings are very green and provide plenty of fresh air.
Faculty: The course is a bit difficult but not to the point it should be, as I am studying in CSE but focusing on Economics and IKS. Since there are only three batches of CSE, placement is not so predictable, but we still hope for the best, although the difficulty is really high.
Other: College life is very poor, but the campus location is very nice, and it is value for money as the crowd is really nice. However, there are very few events in this college.

Review for JNGEC Sundernagar: good surrounding, poor mess food.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in the university on campus. The highest package offered in textile engineering was 16 LPA, while the lowest package for placement was 2.3 LPA. The average package is 4-5 LPA. Our batch is the second one, so there have not been any placements yet.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi inside the college and hostel for students. Labs are normal, and classrooms are a bit old-fashioned. There is a scarcity of benches in class, and most of the projectors in class don't work. The library is average, but there are no non-fiction books available. No medical facilities are provided in our hostel, and no games happen inside the hostel—only some cricket tournaments take place. The mess food is very poor as it comes under private tender.
Faculty: The faculty is kind of hardworking, cheerful, motivating, and very friendly. They're knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is above average. The curriculum is somewhat outdated, as we are taught yoga, engineering economics, and EVS in CSE. Semester exams are quite difficult, as the papers mostly come out of the syllabus.
Other: I chose B.Tech because I was interested in computer science from childhood and was fond of computers. The best thing about this course is that it is budget-friendly compared to private colleges. Wi-Fi should be available in both the college and hostel, and the syllabus should be modern and relevant. No extracurricular activities happen in college, but scholarships are available. The campus surroundings are calm, but there is a transportation issue. There is also a campus crowd, but no events happen in this college. One fest named TWASK occurs, but it didn't happen last year.

Career building college
Placements: About 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered was twenty LPA, and the average is three LPA. Companies such as Google, HP, Hindustan Petroleum, Tech, VPro, Mahindra, etc., have recruited here. Roles offered in the companies include manager, COA, and other assistant manager positions.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi available in my college. Classrooms are really big and well-decorated. The library provides almost every book in the book slots for every course, and the hostel rooms are really good, though the food is average. The hostel provides an indoor tennis court.
Faculty: Teachers really have great knowledge, and the teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams in the college have a not high difficulty level, varying from low to medium range. The pass percentage of students is about ninety percent, and every student who studies well gets placed here.

Good infrastructure affordable and beautiful surroundings.
Placements: At the time, there is no pass-out batch in Computer Science Engineering, but the placement record of the college is fairly okay. The highest package offered was around 21 LPA, and the median was around 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HP, Wipro, Vardhaman, and Tech Mahindra. About 30-40 percent of students got placed, though most opted for higher studies. Most students get internships in the 8th semester, and industrial training takes place throughout the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and well-maintained. There are many classrooms equipped with projectors and labs with most of the necessary equipment. The campus has Wi-Fi, and the computer center has many computers. There are labs for most subjects, a three-story library with books related to the course, and a separate computer section with access to DELNET and Wi-Fi. The newly built boys' hostel is good in terms of both infrastructure and facilities. It has its own separate badminton court, gym, common room, visitor's area, and a mess with good food. The rooms and washrooms are also good. Sports and events are held both on campus and at the hostel level.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified with PhDs and Master’s degrees and are helpful and knowledgeable in their subjects and departments. However, the teaching style of some teachers may be a bit subjective. The teaching quality is pretty good for what you pay. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Internship opportunities are given frequently, and industrial training also takes place regularly. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and there are two mid-semester tests in every semester. The pass percentage of exams is about 40 percent.
Other: CSE at JNGEC provides specialization in AI & ML, which is offered by few colleges and is reasonably priced. There are two main events every year: TWASK and SANGAM, with additional sports meets held every semester. The campus is situated near NH and has a great view of the lake and nearby mountains.

Supportive faculty, good placements and excellent infrastructure with a great campus environment.
Placements: Many students have been placed at a good company and some got an average package maximum of the students got placement. The highest package was 16 LPA. Wipro, teach Mahindra. Maximum of students got good placements and some got an average so the percentage was about 60% Designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good and the Infrastructure is very good the Wi-Fi is available and labs are advanced and classrooms are neat and clean and the library is very satisfying. Hostel is close at 9 pm and is very good and playground and view from the college is very beautiful.
Faculty: Teacher are very helpful and very knowledgeable they teaches us in very friendly way. Yes it makes the students industry ready as they give practical works. The semester exams are not that hard the teachers helps students in classes to prepare for that exams.
Other: My interest was in Something else but I love to gain knowledge I selected my branch like that. The thing you should improve is the campus cleanness.

I want to give a headline for this college that it make memory in my life for life time?
Placements: In this course first the students have to attend the councelling for entry there is different councelling on different basis like HPCET exam, JEE, on 12th percentage. The minimum need for this course is around 250 marks in HPCET. There is a newly course so there is no companies are not come yet. The internship programme were not also known by me.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good all the classes are well settled and there are projector are represented in the class for good learning experience. The Wi-Fi is also available in the college, there were a computer lab and many other like cad lab and different, library is also good there with all the books. The hostel food is not that much good but the hostel building is good also the canteen is good, medical facilities are represented, there is also happen inter college games.
Faculty: There are many teachers there in the college all the teachers are very helpful and help the student in there studies, the teachers are qualified from some NIT and CU they all are very good teaching qualities I think so that they were not make the students for industry ready because of the teachers are studied and after completing there studies they entered in teaching so they don't know any knowledge of industries The semester exam are very difficult some time the pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I choose this course because I like the computer I want to become a software developed. In which I can design the and make various software The labs are good but sometimes the some of the students PC were not accessing the internet also the software is present in the computer are very old There is happen various events in the college, the fest js is also organised in the college in which there is lost of fun in it, campus is good and also the students are good senior all very good, there is scholarship for the students who belongs to sc or st division.

A person who does not get into an IIT or NIT should come here.
Placements: Only students of the Textile branch get placed. Students from the other branches sometimes receive offers, but they are usually under 6 LPA rather than high packages. The CSE (AI&ML) students get no on-campus placements. The Textile branch sometimes achieves 100% placement. However, teachers always guide students, and many students also clear the GATE for higher studies.
Infrastructure: It has an old vintage vibe, as it was built in 2006. But it has many major issues, such as no ground, no Wi-Fi, and labs with mostly non-working computers. The library has many books related to the course. The hostel charges are very low, around Rs. 5,000 per semester for the room and Rs. 3,200 per month for the mess, which provides three meals and one snack daily. There is no hostel for girls, only for boys, and hostel allotment is merit-based.
Faculty: Faculty is well-educated, friendly, and has a lot of teaching experience. The curriculum follows the NEP and is relevant. Teachers always try to teach beyond the syllabus and prepare the students for the future. The exams are very tough as they are set by HPTU. The pass percentage is roughly 50%. In each semester, there are two periodical exams, one practical exam, and one end-of-semester exam.
Other: The fee structure is very pocket-friendly for boys and even more affordable for girls. There are a few problems in the labs, but in the end, the student is the one who has to utilize facilities. A fest called TWASK takes place during the winter and includes both cultural and technical events. There are multiple scholarships that students can apply for. There are many inter-branch and intra-branch competitions in sports and cultural activities. The college has many clubs at both the branch and college levels.
