Why JNMC may or may not be for you.
Placements: JNMC adds a strong value to your resume. USMLE is given significant importance. Research opportunities are abundant, and teachers are supportive. We travel to different countries to showcase our research. The hospital is very large, with a 2400-bed capacity, providing excellent hands-on experience.
Infrastructure: The campus has a general store, bookstore, temple, cafe, sports complex, skill lab, playground, gym, and dairy. The girls' hostel also has a cafe, salon, laundry, and gym. Washrooms in the college do not have soap. Wi-Fi is available. But it is a bit slow. The food is good, and the cafe is very affordable.
Faculty: All the syllabus is covered, and doubts are cleared. Lectures are uploaded regularly. Teachers are very knowledgeable. Exams are conducted with seriousness. CBME rules are followed, requiring 50% to pass, which is not too hard if studied relevantly. Attendance is also taken very seriously here.
Other: There is a lockdown for 3 months at the start to prevent ragging. There are food chains right at the corners, and everything is easily accessible from here. I wish events were a bit more common, but they are quite rare. Almost everything you need to charge more and may not be included in the fees.

Good infrastructure, but no fests are conducted and management is not up to the mark.
Placements: A lot of students got placed from our batch, around 85% of students got placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Deloitte. 75% got internships at Wipro, EY, etc. Top roles offered are SDE, Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: The course has smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean and well-maintained. Mess food is hygienic with decent variety. Canteen is good. Medical aid is available, and sports facilities are adequate.
Faculty: Faculty are qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with practical insights. The curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 90%.
Other: Professional and goal driven institute.

Satisfied with my admission in the college.
Placements: 100% of students got placed. The average package offered is 15 LPA in KLE Prabhakar Kore Hospital. 100% of students got internships in KLE Hospital as doctors. It is a great place to study, if your interested in studies then it is a great place as well thus allowing ample opportunities. Skill lab allowing visualization.
Infrastructure: Library has AC. The study room allows us to study in the comfort of our hostel room. There is a table, chair, cot, fan, and almirah in a room, and big enough to allow playing football in the room itself. A water cooler to quench the thirst in the scorching heat of Belgaum.
Other: Those who want to study medicine should go for this because this place gives ample opportunity for one to learn many things, including a skill lab where one can practice real-life practical things on a model, thus giving hands-on experiences.

The life in JNMC, Belagavi.
Placements: In medical college, there are usually no placements. There are just internships and after that, if you wish to work somewhere as an MBBS graduate then JNMC as a college on your resume will look strong as this institution goes back to 1963. Many people have cracked NEET PG from here, and the clinical knowledge you get from the patient flow is amazing.
Infrastructure: There is a campus with Wi-Fi that works throughout with good internet speed. There is a world-class library present here. I genuinely love the library as there is no book on medicine, you won't find here. The catalogue is vast and impressive. There is also a reading room that is open for students 24/7. Labs here are also world-class and they incorporated newer technologies into curriculum to enhance the learning process. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and ACs and are generally well thought out.
Faculty: Teachers here are of top-most quality. They are good and mature (except for a few). In all colleges usually, only some teachers and some departments are good but I can say that in our college at least 85% of the teachers are amazing, well qualified, and approachable. They genuinely are good and I am not joking. Their concepts are clear and classes are amazing. They are very knowledgeable with sizeable years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 40%, and they are strict about it. The semester exams are actually difficult and they give tricky questions as well.
Other: I chose this course because I love medicine and everything about the human body and look forward to doing great things for the best of humanity. You might have questions sometimes about why you took it but you will love the satisfaction it gives you at the end of the day. There are no fests that occur in this college particularly but you can definitely go to Invictus Manipal and AFMC Pune which are only 8 hours bus ride away from Belagavi. Extracurricular activities aren't that prevalent here and neither is there a push for it.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College review.
Placements: There are various organizations and companies offering internship roles with stipends. The college has a wide range of networks and coordination with multiple organizations. In our batch, 80 percent of the students were selected by WHO for internships, and after the internship, they were offered jobs. Now, they are employed at WHO.
Infrastructure: We have different types of clubs like the Journal Club and Publication Club. The college has a large library with a wide range of books that are easily accessible. There is also a digital library with subscriptions to different paid sites where we can access articles and full books in PDF format. The college holds a yearly event where both faculty and students mutually organize and participate. Various sports and other activities are available. Events have featured Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities as chief guests. Our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi visited the college once during my time, and Shahrukh Khan and other singers have also participated in our college events.
Faculty: The curriculum is very broad and prepares us well for the real world, allowing us to apply what we've learned practically. Both the course and faculty are excellent, and I don't see any improvements needed. Exams are conducted twice internally and once as a final exam in each semester. The exam papers are tough, fitting the course requirements.
Other: The hostel rooms are fully furnished with cupboards, and there is backup power for lighting. Each floor has one washing machine for self-service laundry. The college hostel provides good quality and healthy meals, with non-vegetarian options available twice a week. Drinking water is purified on campus, and the dispensers provide both hot and cold water. The registration process is simple, and we can also register online. Rooms outside the campus can be rented for around five thousand to ten thousand for a one BHK.

It is a remarkable college to learn clinical skills, and it has a good reputation.
Placements: Being a medical college with a very good hospital, 100% of the students get internships after completing their final year. The pay is 10,000 per month as of 2021, which is pretty less compared to government colleges. But the workload is less too. After internships, you have a choice of doing rural service for 80,000 per month, or you can work in the private sector. Everyone will surely get placed somewhere.
Infrastructure: The most important requirement for an MBBS student is a good hospital. This college has one of the best hospitals. You can find all types of cases. Classrooms are huge and comfortable with AC facilities. The library is well-equipped. There's a sports complex and swimming pool, gym and athletic track. Mess and hostel are okay, but there are many cafes on the campus, which are very good.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, and they teach wonders. Most of them are student-friendly, and since they are experienced, you'll learn a lot from them. The course is standard according to the rules of the national medical council. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is more than 80.
Other: I chose this college because it has a good reputation and it holds up to it. The campus is one of the cleanest in India. There are a good number of sports and cultural events. Vehicles are not allowed, though. It's tough to commute around. Wi-Fi and hostels have to be improved a lot.

Really good infrastructure and cleanliness.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements at all, but a student can continue as a junior doctor in KLE Hospital after completing the internship. There is no placement cell. If someone joins the government set up or private practice, he can easily earn up to Rs. 40,000 as a starting salary. It is better to prepare for PG.
Infrastructure: There are no infrastructure related problems. The campus has ATMs, bank, cafe, cooperative store, gym, swimming pool, table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, carrom etc. Hostels are well maintained and cleaned at least 2 times a day. Electricity supply is available 24/7. The college and hospital are well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is available.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very good. They teach just like in schools. Some of them are bad. The management as a whole is bad. You will be penalised for everything. Discipline is strictly maintained on the campus. The college follows the latest course curriculum of MCI. OSCE and OSPE are the parts of our curriculum. Teachers are helpful. A good amount of hospital exposure is provided. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for every student.
Other: Events like college fest, freshers, fun week, teachers day, etc., are conducted in the college every year. The foreign exchange program is conducted throughout the year. The campus is well connected to Goa-Pune highway. The campus is lush green and clean. No scholarship is available except cash rewards to toppers. No support is provided by the college for extracurricular activities, students have to manage on their own.

Joining this college is the best decision of my life.
Placements: Direct campus placements are not offered in the medical field. Doctors from here are working all over the world. Many of them are working in AIIMS. Many of the doctors from here are running their private clinics. Some doctors joined the same hospital after completing their courses.
Infrastructure: It is the largest charitable hospital in Asia. The number of patients visits here is good. Hospital is well-equipped with all the facilities. The campus is spread over 100 acres. This college has separate sections for the patients who pay to get medical assistance and the patients who get treated for free. There is also one generic medical store where medicines are sold at cost-effective rates. There is a huge canteen available in the hospital for staff and patients' relatives. They also provide 3 meals to patients for free of cost.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very supportive. They are available 24/7. The college is well-equipped with all the resources to pursue the MBBS course. The college keeps updating the resources every year so that the doctors can be trained well. We also have a library that has a good collection of medical books which can be accessed by students 24X7.
