NSS Club of JIMS Kalkaji in Collaboration with Rotary Regalia Organized a Blood Donation Drive

August 18, 2023: On April 10, 2023, starting at 9:00 AM, the NSS Club of JIMS Kalkaji and Rotary Regalia organised a blood drive at the basement of the college's facilities. The goal of this drive was to gather blood that would be sent to the Rotary Blood Centre in New Delhi. The institute's instructors, staff, and students all supported this wonderful deed. Twenty-five members of the PGDM and PGDM(IB) 2022-2024 class gave their all to the collection effort. The Regional Blood Transfusion Centre presented them with contribution certificates as a token of appreciation for their work.

Innovation Council of JIMS Kalkaji Organized a Guest Lecture on ‘How to Plan for Start-Up - Legal & Ethical Steps’

August 18, 2023: On April 12, 2023, in the campus auditorium, the institution's Innovation Council, JIMS Kalkaji, hosted a guest lecture on "How to Plan for Start-Up - Legal & Ethical Steps." The session was attended by 107 PGDM and PGDM(IB) 2022–2024 students. Ms. Komal Gupta, founder and chief business officer of Madhouse Works, a firm that promotes purpose-driven entrepreneurship among startups and MSMEs, spoke at the event. She cultivates Leaders and Unicorn Founders for Market Expansion as an Entrepreneur, Brand Nutritionist, Digital Strategist, Filmmaker, and Storyteller. She provided information on various business structures, the distinctions between sole proprietorships and startups, marketing tactics, etc. She addressed the audience while playing brief excerpts from well-known movie scenes, and she afterwards used Lenskart and Vaatwani optics as examples. The event was quite interactive, and the students participated as well. Later on she proceeded with examples of koovs.com, Fnp, and ended up with the short video of their entrepreneur firm Madhouse works. The purpose of this workshop was to give insights into the legal and ethical steps to be undertaken in the world of entrepreneurship by sharing one's own entrepreneurial journey.

JIMS Kalkaji Organised Gamify: The HR Club Event 

August 17, 2023: Gamify: On April 13, 2023, from 10:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., the college's HR club hosted an event. It was a special occasion filled with intriguing games and enjoyable activities. Dr. Saniya Chawla, an assistant professor at JIMS Kalkaji, served as the event's jury. The game was called "Create a Story Out of a Picture." Even more action-packed was the second round of the competition, in which each team was handed 20 circles and allowed 10 minutes to create whatever with them using their imaginations and creative processes while also expressing their original ideas. The evaluation was conducted using criteria for originality, mental clarity, and public speaking ability. Neha Sharma and Ankit Semwal, Students, PGDM (IB) secured First Position, Muskan Bisht and Mahima Yadav and Kirti Mehndiratta and Ishneet Baweja secured Third Position.

PGDM and PGDM (IB) Department of JIMS Kalkaji Organized 'Faculty Knowledge Circle'

August 16, 2023: 'Faculty Knowledge Circle' was organised by the JIMS Kalkaji director, Dr Anuj Verma, and the PGDM and PGDM (IB) departments. 'Foreign Trade Policy: An Overview and EPCG Scheme' was one of the most interesting topics covered by Dr. Navneet Gera, Professor and HOD-PGDM (IB), JIMS Kalkaji, on April 19, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the Conference Room. There were ten faculty members present. The discussion of the Ministry of External Affairs, Aayat Niryat Schemes, Documentation Process, HS Code, etc. made the session very intriguing. Dr Gera spoke on the numerous exporter incentives available as well as India's contribution to global GDP. He also further delineated about RCMC, DGCI&SEPZs and SEZs becoming more prominently relevant. The Programme Coordinator, Dr Jyoti Kukreja, Assistant Professor, JIMS Kalkaji organized and coordinated the session. All the faculty members were highly appreciative as they found it highly informative.

JIMS Kalkaji Awarded Top 17th Best B-School of India and the 9th Best in Top Private Institutions in the Times of India in its latest B-School Survey

August 18, 2023: The Times of India's most recent B-School Survey 2023 ranked JIMS Kalkaji as the 17th Best B-School in India and the 9th Best in Top Private Institutions.  This demonstrates the excellence attained by all of our instructors and staff in providing high-quality instruction and the overall development of students' personalities. These kinds of accomplishments are necessary to promote excellence in processes and behaviours. All Faculty Members and Staff, who have worked tirelessly all year, deserve praise for this accomplishment.

100th Episode of Mann Ki Baat, Shri. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon'ble Minister of Civil Aviation, addressed the audience of JIMS, Kalkaji on April 30, 2023

August 17, 2023: The 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat was a monumental occasion, and Jagannath International Management School, Kalkaji, had the distinction of welcoming Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon'ble Minister of Civil Aviation, to our campus. In his talk to the group, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia provided insights on the numerous social initiatives carried out by the administration. He emphasised the need of empowering young people because they are the nation's future. All those in attendance were inspired and educated by the minister's speech, which made a lasting impression. In the presence of Shrimati Yogita Singh, a member of the MCD council, Dr Amit Gupta, the chairman of the JIMS Group of Institutions, felicitated Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, the honourable Minister of Civil Aviation. The Minister's commitment to the advancement of our nation was recognised and honoured during the felicitation ceremony. Overall, the evening was a great success, and JIMS, Kalkaji felt privileged to have such an illustrious guest. The event served as proof of our dedication to advancing social concerns and giving people a forum to discuss crucial topics.

It is the best college.

Placements: Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Wipro, CBRE, Asian Paints, Cadbury, Aditya Birla Group, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, JIMS KALKAJI, Amazon, EY, and many more. Top recruiting package offered by these companies at JIMS is 6.8 LPA, according to last year's data. Although I am still pursuing my degree, I have heard from my seniors that the placement rate is around 80%.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Students with a good rank in IPU CET are admitted to the courses available at JIMS. The highest package this year is 10 LPA. Grant Thornton is one of the recruiting companies. The placement rate is 80-90%. The college offers Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, and PGDM courses.

JIMS being a top B-school: real or fake.

Placements: Seventy percent of students are placed. Companies like Grant Thornton and BlackRock come for placements. For finance and marketing, most of the roles are offered. The packages offered and grabbed by the students are quite big and mouthwatering, encouraging others to work hard.

Absolutely satisfied with the good infrastructure, facilities, and great faculty.

Placements: They have a very good placement policy. All top companies, like Deloitte, EY and similar companies, come for placement in courses on finance, marketing and HR. They also take PDP classes to enhance the skills and competency of the students.
