JIS College of Engineering Placements: 

JIS College of Engineering has a good placement record, with almost 85-90% of students getting placed every year. According to the JIS College of Engineering NIRF report 2023, the placement rate recorded during JIS College of Engineering M.Tech placements 2022 was 86%. The highest package offered at JIS College of Engineering is 12 LPA (lakhs per annum). Some of the top recruiters that visited the campus in the past include TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, IBM, Wipro, Amazon, HCL, Deloitte, Mphasis, Pinnacle Infotech, Youngman, Axis Bank, Ayant Software, Bandhan Bank, Chegg India, Dabur, Nestle, Pantaloon, Tech Mahindra, Ultratech Cements, Zensar Technology, and many more. The average package offered is around 3-5 LPA.

Amity University Placements:

The highest package offered during Amity University Noida placements 2023 stood at INR 61.75 LPA. Some of the top recruiters that participate in the Amity University placements include IBM, EY, Microsoft, Yamaha, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, Genpact, Cognizant, and Dell. During the placement drive of 2021, 51 Global Fortune companies and 41 best IT companies and 6 consulting companies participated in the placement drive, whereas 26 new recruiters also participated. The highest CTC stood at INR 21.5 LPA, and the average CTC stood at INR 5 LPA.

WBJEE Counselling 2025 was conducted in two rounds, namely Round 1 and Round 2, followed by the Defence quota counselling. 

JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April. For the current cycle, NTA had announced the JEE Main Session 2 exam dates, and the exams for Paper 1 (BTech) were conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The registration for session 2 is now closed. Now, prospective candidates should wait for the announcement of JEE Mains dates for the academic batch of 2026.

Candidates must verify the following documents at their allotted institutes at the time of counselling. 

• All rank holders – Class 10 admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth
• All rank holders – Class 10 Mark sheet 
• All rank holders –Class 12 Mark sheet 
• WB domiciled candidates - Domicile
• SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B rank holders – Respective category certificate.

As far as the hostel food is concerned, it is not up to par; the quality is not very good. Students always complain about the food in the hostels. Mess and PG are nearby colleges; their food quality is much better than hostel food. Many students prefer mess and PGs to hostels.

JIS College of Engineering has been one of the top institutes in the state of West Bengal. Currently, it has been ranked second after IIT Kharagpur in the NIRF Rankings for Innovation, and these two institutions are the only ones in the state to get that ranking. It has also built a new AICTE IDEA Lab on its campus, which is the third IDEA Lab in the state. With its amazing industry partnerships, it has built the lab for industrial production and will sustain the lab in the upcoming years. There is a very vibrant campus life at the college for all the students. It also provides internships and training to all students in every semester.

Candidates can fill the MAT application form through the official website of MAT . Here are the steps to do so : 

 1.Open official website of AIMA MAT. 

2. Enter requires details for registration like Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password. 

3. Click on submit button.

4. An OTP will be sent in the registered mobile number which you used just now to register.

5. Verify phone number using the OTP. 

6. New login will be sent in your email. 

7. Select exam mode, exam date and other details

8. Upload your documents like passport size photo and signature. 

9. Select 5 MBA institutes of your preference. (choice declaration).

10. Pay the fee via debit/credit card or net banking. 

11. In the next page add personal details, academic details, address, etc.

12. Fill the remaining fields and the click on the declaration check box

13. Submit the form to complete the process.

WBJEE took place in April 27, 2025. WBJEE test has a duration of 4 hrs where, the students have to attempt 2 papers with 1 paper having ques from Maths only while the 2nd paper has ques from both Physics & Chemistry. 

The authorities have released the WBJEE 2025 exam date online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The details regarding the timeline of important events i.e, application, correction facility, admit card and examination are released through the WBJEE exam dates 2025. All candidates are advised to check and stay updated with the WBJEE dates so that they do not miss out any important events. WBJEE 2025 result and counselling dates will be announced soon.

Questions in MAT are asked from verbal ability, reading comprehension, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, arrangement, coding decoding, graphs and tables, family tree, blood relation, clocks and calendars, time, speed and distance, statements, etc.
