Overall, the college is good as per the budget.
Placements: There is too much hyped about on-campus placements, but it does not mean there are no placements in this college. The number of reputed companies that visit the college is low. The college authorities hypes it too much and also advertise too much. It claims there are above 93% of placements, but truly, there are 40-50% of placements in reality.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is average and not too modern for today's generation. Wi-Fi facility is good, but labs are not advanced. Even some labs do not have AC and good computer systems to work on. The hostel structure is good as per the budget, but I am not satisfied with it.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good, but some faculty members have communication issues with students during class. Faculty members have low communicative skills, which affect their teaching techniques. Leaving them, there are some good and helpful teachers who are too frank with students and help us without any complaint.
Other: Overall, after studying for 2 years, the college appears good to me.

Placements: Percentage of students placed in our course is 86%. The highest package is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The lowest package is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA,
and the average package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Delta X, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, IBM, LTI Mindtree, Emphasis, ACC LTD, etc. 80-90% students got internships from our course in TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Top roles offered in our course like software engineer, IT support, data entry operator, and various roles.
Infrastructure: Our college has a large central library with a vast collection of books and digital resources, well-furnished classrooms, and numerous well-equipped laboratories for practical training and research. Additionally, college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, a spacious cafeteria, a sports complex, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. JIS College of Engineering generally offers satisfactory to good facilities in its hostels, canteen, and medical services, with sports and games also receiving positive feedback. However, some reviews suggest the food quality in the mess and canteen could be improved. The hostel facilities might not be ideal for all students.
Faculty: Teachers at JIS College of Engineering are generally considered to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, contributing to a good teaching quality. I wanted a field that constantly evolves, challenges me to learn new things, and directly impacts the future of technology. The things I wish were better in the ECE course were more practical exposure, updated curriculum, more industry interaction, better access to modern tools, project-based learning from early semesters. The college hosts an annual cultural fest Majistic.

The college is okay, but nothing more than that.
Placements: Companies such as Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture are among the top recruiters of our college. Students must enhance their skills and complete internships during the course to secure better job placements. The package starts from approximately 2 LPA and goes up to 50 LPA for our recruiters. Internships are also good.
Infrastructure: Facilities are just moderate. The lab infrastructure is good, but not all the instruments or devices work properly. Only a few of them work. Students get very few opportunities to practice again and again in labs. Wi-Fi is available, but some connections don't work or work slowly. The library is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. But the teaching level is not that good. Students prepare on their own for exams and placements. Semester exams are not very tough in our college, but there are a few subjects that are very difficult. Teachers provide suggestions before the exam.
Other: Our college is a private institution affiliated with MAKAUT. Scholarships are available, but not provided by the college. Student credit cards are also available. Extracurricular activities are also available here, where you can get certificates and awards if you participate. A fest is also organized here, which is very large.

Overall, the college is best.
Placements: In our college, this year placed by 87% students. The highest package offered for the ECE COURSE is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wonderbuz, TCS, Amazon, Jio, and Accenture. 80% of students got internships. The role offered is programmer.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi, computers, library, and labs are good. Hostel facilities are good, but sometimes the canteen food is not good.
Faculty:
.Our teachers are good, they are helpful, and their behaviour is just like that of a very good friend. The students are industry-ready. The exam is difficult, but we are hardworking, and the passing percentage is 80% and some students have a backlog in some subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I like software and hardware both, so this is the reason ECE course is best. Every year, we organize Tech Fest and Majestic, and these are amazing. We organize the JIS Samman for our annual sports, which are very good. Everyone participates in sports like cricket.

JIS College of Engineering fulfills our dreams.
Placements: Nearly 50% of students of each course, including my course, get placed every year. The highest package of my course is 9 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies for our course are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Snijder, Tech Mahindra, etc. In my course, approximately 15-20% of students get internships in companies like Accenture, Snijder, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities like Wi-Fi and computer labs are available. It has a well-structured library with many kinds of books, including good facilities for collecting and return policy. In our hostel, we have a well-structured mess facility, where we get three meals a day, which is worth it. Medical facilities are very good in our hostel. Sports and games are very interesting. We can play games like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc. Our college organises tournaments every year.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they help us in everything whenever we face problems. We can ask our doubts anytime, and they provide us solutions as soon as possible. Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and according to me, it needs some improvement. However, it is so relevant to the industry. It's not so difficult, exactly, because our faculty members are knowledgeable and they teach us very well, so in exams we get questions from our syllabus, and we can easily answer. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: ECE is the only course which deals with software as well as hardware fields, so I chose it.

Very good college with proper facilities and great faculty members.
Placements: Most students, about 90% of them, are placed in companies. 24 LPA is the highest package to date. Cognizant and Infosys are some of the companies that mainly hire students. These companies mainly make mass recruitments, and students also get jobs from other companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good. Wi-Fi is provided, and the hostel facilities are really good. In the library, there are top-quality books, and labs are well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and have true knowledge of the subject. The semester exams are really tough, with a high-quality question pattern. The course curriculum is relevant and mainly works on modern electronic devices that are widely used in modern days. Faculty members are really supportive and listen to each and every problem of the students.

The college has nice infrastructure, a pretty nice campus life, and pretty average teachers.
Placements: The percentage of placements is very good. After Coronavirus due to the recession period, the placement percentage has gone down. But we can expect good placements in the near future when the recession period is over. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are absolutely fine. Especially the flip classes are very nice. They are enabled with smart boards and are air-conditioned. Labs contain quite everything necessary. Some labs may have size issues as the analog circuits lab, which doesn't meet the AICTE criteria as per the lab size.
Faculty: The college faculty members are very helpful in case of different kinds of exams, research papers, journal publications, and other competitions. In the case of teaching in the class, some teachers are good and some teachers are bad. The exam papers are pretty fine, neither too hard and not too easy. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because the field of ECE is an evergreen field to get a bright future. Events are pretty good like the tech fest and culture fest.

Innovative College and labs.
Placements: I am a 2026 passing-out batch student, and there is a good record of placement in our college. Almost 70-80% get placed in their fourth year, and the college also helps us to go for off-campus placements. Top recruiting companies like Accenture and other IT companies come.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for our course and hostel is very well spacious and air-conditioned. We all study in a very good environment. There are computer labs, an AICTE idea lab, and many more labs where we can perform experiments and increase our knowledge. The food is also good.
Faculty: There is a good curriculum for the new industry needs, and our teachers teach us very well all the curriculum. We have different kinds of teachers, and all of them help us very efficiently with all our needs. Also, the exams are held at the end of each semester.
