A complete review of my college.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. The average package offered in CS allied branches ranges from 7-8 LPA with a good atmosphere for coding and competitive exams. Many good-level companies visit our campus to hire students. The placement cell is very supportive of its students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is what makes it stand above the rest. It has top-notch hostel facilities and good and spacious classrooms. The infrastructure stands at the top of the list. In our hostels, we have both AC hostel (ISH) and non-AC hostel (BH). Both the hostels have quality rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and regular in terms of education and extracurricular activities. Exams are held every month (internals) and semester exams are conducted every 3 months. The exam atmosphere and competition are good for personal development and overall growth.

The college has a great infrastructure.
Placements: About 85% of the students got placed. The highest package is about 18 LPA, and the lowest is around 1.5 LPA. Students often opt for off-campus placements rather than on-campus. You have to do internships on your own. The college does not provide any internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: On campus, hostels are available, including both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned options. Veg foods are served in the mess, while non-veg foods are not on the menu. Sports facilities are also available on campus, providing great opportunities.
Faculty: The college teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are well-qualified and experienced. As this college is affiliated with AKTU, semester exams are conducted accordingly. Overall, the college experience is very good, with a green campus and good facilities.

Overall, the college is good for job placement but not for college life.
Placements: Placement holdings were good; about 60 to 70% of students got jobs on or off campus last year.
The average package of this college is about 8-10 lakhs .
Companies like Tide, Acer, Himalayan, LG, etc. come into this college for placement.
The CSE course offers mainly software engineer or web development-like jobs from this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college may not be so big and attractive as their are not good facilities offered by this college to students, which students can get at the same fees in other colleges, like no air conditioning classes for students, which causes the classes to warm up like heaters during the summer.
Hostel facilities are good but the hostel food is not to be tolerated; there is an inequality line between boys and girls hostels.
Girls hostel food is prepared separately, while boys hostel food is prepared separately.
The girls hostel menu looks like a sweet shop, while the boys hostel menu looks like never to see again.
Faculty: Faculty and staff members are good and lovely, which provides good support for the student .
In curriculum, the college lacks behind as their were mainly only two events held over, which are garba eve and DJ night. Other than the college does not provide skill-improving activity like sports, singing competitions, etc.
The exam pattern is the same as decided by Aktu, while internal exams were held monthly for practice for the semester exam and a special exam has been taken for first-week students to provide them with one more chance to improve their marks .

Average college with a good location advantage.
Placements: I'm currently enrolled in B.Tech computer science and engineering and my year of passing out is 2027. The placements of JSS average out around 5 LPA to 6 LPA with the highest on-campus package being 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 64%. If you are hoping for MAANG then you would have to go for off-campus placements only as they wouldn't visit the college. It's an overall average college with a great location advantage when compared to other AKTU colleges of the NCR region.
Infrastructure: Classrooms do not have ACs or even smart boards. Teachers are using old-style blackboards The labs are fine and you can get Wi-Fi access for your laptop. The hostels are good with all the facilities, the mess food is also eatable and on some days, it could be great too.
Faculty: Teachers are somewhat helpful and qualified but as they have to follow the AKTU curriculum the relevancy of the syllabus is not much. The semester exams are moderate to pass. The students need to work on themselves to be industry-ready as the college won't help them to get any internships.
Other: The college hosts a three day techno cultural fests.

Absolutely dissatisfied with teachers, average facilities for sports, good hostel infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are really not very good here. Most of the companies in which students are placed are mass recruiters. The lowest salary is as small as 4 LPA, and the highest salary is around 50 LPA. The highest package is from off-campus placements. Top recruiter companies include Amazon, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms here are almost the same as in school. Many classes don't even have a projector, just a planet green board is there. Library is above average. It has a good seating arrangement but I did not find some books I wanted. Wi-Fi sometimes doesn't work and when it does not every website works on it. Hostel is very great. It has good infrastructure and good rooms with spacious shelves and almirah.
Faculty: I won't say directly but sometimes studying online is better than studying from teachers. Some teachers are just there to disturb your mental health and nothing else. Curriculum is really old-style and is not relevant for jobs nowadays. Semester exams are easier than boards, but the marks are not given fairly.
Other: I wish that the curriculum were updated. I took admission just because it's affiliated with Government University.

Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022.

If you want lateral entry then there is exam conducted by AKTU University so you clear exam and get admission.

In the private college, no doubt that there is awesome study environment and there is lot more to do, but in the government college, placements is much better than any private college, and there you will get enough time to study and also to learn new skills that is more important in the CSE field.

I think yes, you can get into various engineering colleges under AKTU. There some colleges which are not able to fill all seats and so I think you have very good chances of getting CS but not in a good ranked college.

Both are good for placements for CS/IT. I can say more for JSS CS/IT compared to Galgotias. Few students in JSS CSE received 12 LPA package but average will be somewhere around 4 LPA.
