The college is good in terms of discipline and placements.

Placements: Around 50-60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.8 LPA. Kronos, Jaypee Group, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., come here. There were also a few companies like Jaypee Groups that only come for our stream. Most of the students were placed in Wipro. Software engineer and control engineer roles are offered.

Infrastructure: There are separate buildings for girls, and different floors are allotted for the students of different years. Good Wi-Fi connectivity and clean environment are available. Labs are also good, and the classrooms are airy. The library is the best part of our college, and it has a huge collection of books. Students can go and study there the whole day. The food in the hostel is decided by the members of mess committee, which is a student body of the final year students. There are a dedicated doctor and a medical room on the campus itself. There are a huge ground for outdoor sports, an auditorium for indoor sports and also a well-equipped gym.

Faculty: Our branch had a minimum number of faculty members, and most of them were not so good. They simply used to copy the content in books and failed to explain the concepts. This course is very beneficial to those who want to work in the government sector, PSUs like NTPC, Gail, ONGC, BARC etc.

Other: I wanted to work in the public sector, so I chose this course. The college needs to focus more on providing faculty for our course. The fest used to be the best part of our college, and we had sports and cultural fests as well. We also had some fairs, intercollege competitions, mess party, hostel party, and new year party.

The college is good, but placements are average.

Placements: The placements for computer science students are good, but they are not good for other branches. If you are from CS and IT, then you are lucky. The chances of getting a placement are good if you belong to CS or IT. Our senior batch had good placements. Basically, you cannot expect much from this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good. The campus is spacious, but there is no AC facility on the campus. The canteen at our college is average, but the hostel is good and secure. The campus atmosphere is good, but still, you cannot expect much. There is a lot of strictness on the campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are not helpful, but you will find a way to get the best out of them. The course curriculum is good. There is always an attendance issue on the campus. The teachers don't cooperate much with students on the campus. Internals marks given to students are very less. In short, you cannot expect much from the faculty.

A brief insight of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida

Placements: Placements in JSS are better when compared to other private colleges affiliated to AKTU. Companies like Kronos, Ion Trading Company, Wipro, Infoedge, QA Infotech, Tricon, Fiserv, etc. visit every year for placements. In my batch, the highest on-campus package offered was 12 LPA by Ion Trading Company to 3 students. The average package is between 3.2-4.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are spacious and elevators are provided in every building. Washrooms are well-maintained and the campus is neat and clean with ambient greenery. The major drawback is that air conditioners are not available in classrooms but are available in labs. The library and the food court are one of the best when compared to other colleges. Food in the canteen is quite good and affordable too. Hostel rooms are very well-furnished and are spacious with every room having a separate balcony. A major drawback in hostels is that they have common bathrooms.

Faculty: Faculty members in private colleges as we all know are more or less the same. But you can definitely find some of the brilliant minds working there. If you are looking for a college where you only want to study, then JSS is the place for you because the major focus of the management is the academic record.

Other: Every year, some events like Zealicon (the annual techno-cultural fest of JSS) and Mythri (the annual sports meet of JSS) are organised in which students actively take part. But I can assure you if you are looking for a proper fest like DU and IITs, then you will be disappointed. EDM night has been started in 2017 itself and hopefully, they will carry it on in the future.

I'm satisfied with the infrastructure of the college.

Placements: Many companies conduct their drives on the campus but many of them are software based and offer around Rs. 2 to 4 lpa. Some mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. also come to the college. They prefer students having no running backlogs and having 65 or more percentage class 10th onwards.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. Many books are available in the library. The students are free to use the library whenever they need. The quality of food in the food court is very nice and healthy. JSS is also awarded as the college with the best infrastructure. I never faced any issue related to infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty of this department is good and very supportive in nature. In our class, there were 60 to 70 students. The teachers encouraged the students to take parts in several projects and games and other curriculum activities. The teacher kept their students updated with new things.

If you are going for a private college affiliated with AKTU then this college will be the right one.

Placements: Placements in my batch are very disappointing. Only 15 students out of 61 are placed till February end. The average package of my branch is 2.9 LPA and the highest is 3.25 LPA. The other branches like computer science and information technology have got a high percentage of placement with some decent salaries. The highest package to the CS branch students was offered is 12 LPA. The most important thing is that out of 15 placed students, there were 5 students placed in a core company but with a minimal stipend.

Infrastructure: The facilities in my college are average, not too good and not too bad. We have Wi-Fi available in classrooms as well as in the library. The environment in the library and the material available are quite good. There is a medical facility provided in college campus but only for very small problems like a headache, minor sports injuries, mild fever etc. The quality of labs and classrooms is not so good, and they don't even have air condition working in labs, forget about classrooms. But there is great plus point which is that this college has its own canteen. The quality of food is great with a reasonable price, good in space and almost everything we need to eat for a lunch is available. I don't know about the hostel because I never been there, but it is hard to get in there. The hostel for the first years is filled on the basis of first come first serve, then from the second year onwards, it depends on your marks. The infrastructure is quite average and continuously improving.

Faculty: My experience with faculty members, especially of my branch, is not so good. They are helpful but as I think, there is a lack of experience and positive attitude in their teaching. Qualification-wise, the faculty members are up to the mark but teaching-wise, they are not. They are trying to use the modern way of teaching like the use of projectors in classrooms to explain the more complex things but again, the experience and dedication in teaching are holding them back. The student to faculty ratio is 12:1, which I think is not great and I don't know about the other colleges. We did get industry exposure but only two times in 5 semesters and the arrangements and experience was horrible. As this college is still affiliated with Abdul Kalam University, so we study what is given by the university.

Other: I would like to share some positive aspects of studying in this college and that is its location. As it is situated near the IT companies, there is a chance to get the job from this college if you are a student of the IT field. The other branch students still struggle. This college gets some favour because of its reputation from the past. So. if you are going for a private college affiliated with AKTU, then this college will be the right choice.
