Don't expect to land in a product-based company because the college hardly attracts any of them.

This college went from uphill to downhill.
Placements: So in my batch, only about 5% people have been placed. The CTC is also very low, like a basic starting package, the highest for 15 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. No top companies or recognised companies have come to our college. In our course, it was Kickdrum and Infosys (girls only) recruited. The internship situation is very bad, as only 5% of them got legit internships, and we had to pay to get internships. The top roles offered in our course are development engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is trash, works sometimes, and sometimes doesn't work. We didn’t get our own college login for Wi-Fi, the labs are also ***. We have 15-year-old systems that are extremely slow and crashes. The library is there, but we have barely used it as most of the textbooks we require are from the new syllabus and we mostly referred some online notes. I am not in a hostel, but I have heard from the people in the hostel its very bad, the living is bearable and the food is very bad, sometimes with insects.
Faculty: Teachers are sometimes helpful, but are very arrogant. They look qualified, but read from the PPT and tell classes are done. The courses are mixed, some are relevant, some are useless, which cases drop in CGPA. The semester exams are really difficult with unfair corrections and everything, so we can't even expect good marks.
Other: I chose this course because it was similar to CSE, but the placements are very bad, as they don't take ISE many times. The events, fests, and crowd are all dead nowadays, 1st year was actually good. But now it's very bad.

Decent college with good infrastructure and college life.
Placements: Placement is low to average as the placement of this college has been decreasing since 2023. The average package is 6 LPA, and the highest is not yet decided as the placement is still going on. The highest package is around 44 LPA - 45 LPA in 2022 - 2023, I think.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty decent and cannot be considered as low. The college campus is not that much huge but it can be considered as average. The course is pretty good. The hostel is also decent. Hostel infrastructure and all are good. The library, classrooms, Wi-Fi, sports, etc., are good. In the hostel, rooms are very spacious, but the food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Semester exams, internals, and all are conducted in a decent way. Subjects, assignments, tests, activities, etc., are given based on the university rules and norms. There are no extra loads, but students should be regular to avoid a mess in their careers.

Review of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore.
Placements: Fewer students got placed in my course compared to other branches. The average package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters like Bosch, Sonata, and Siemens recruit from our college. Many companies offer paid internships as well at our college. Around 30-40% students got selected in campus placements.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms have projectors. There is a very big library, and college Wi-Fi is available in all the labs and the library. There is also a digital library setup where students can find books online. The girls' hostel is inside the campus, while the boys' hostel is located on the opposite side of the road in front of the main gate of the college.
Faculty: All the teachers are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant and gets updated frequently. The semester exams are relatively easy, and the passing percentage is over 90%. The internal examinations are also easy, and students can easily score good marks and maintain a good CGPA.
Other: The campus is spread out over 23 acres with lush greenery and even a lake. There is a basketball court, a tennis court, a cricket field, and many more indoor games. The college fest is conducted once a year in even semesters.

The college is very nice, with all facilities available.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Tech Mahindra, and WinWire. Around 50% of students get internships in different companies. Roles offered include software developer, software tester, and data engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has modern labs, smart classrooms, and a rich library. Hostels are clean with 24/7 Wi-Fi and decent mess food. There is a hygienic canteen, basic medical help, and good sports facilities like a ground, gym, and games. Overall, it is comfortable and friendly.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful, well-qualified, and teaches concepts clearly. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant with practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is about 90%, so students can do well if they attend classes and prepare.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering for its good career scope and my interest in teaching. The best parts are coding, exposure to projects, and placements. More industry visits would help. The campus is fun.

The campus is good. There are no restrictions or penalties for silly mistakes or other reasons.
Placements: The highest package offered by Toyota is 7 LPA. Companies like Toyota, Bosch, Quest Global, Range Group of Industries, FANUC, Ace Designers, etc., visit the college often for placements. The competition is less, and the companies visiting the college are more. So students can give their best to get placed.
Infrastructure: The library, classrooms, Wi-Fi, sports, etc., are good. In the hostel, rooms are very spacious, but the food is average. Activities like sports, annual fest, running, and many campaigns are being run by the college, and students can volunteer and give their best.
Faculty: Teachers are too good. Semester exams, internals, and all are conducted in a decent way. Subjects, assignments, tests, activities, etc., are given based on the university's rules and norms. There are no extra loads, but students should be regular to avoid a mess in their careers.

Good infrastructure and campus life, but faculty and placements need improvement.
Placements: Around 75-85% of eligible students get placed each year through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest package is around 3-4 LPA, with the average package ranging between 4.5-6 LPA. Top recruiting company is cognizant.
Infrastructure: The department is equipped with modern labs such as the VLSI lab, DSP lab, and embedded systems lab, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and access to a well-stocked library with digital resources. The hostel provides facilities like clean rooms, regular housekeeping, 24/7 water, and electricity supply. The mess provides hygienic food.
Faculty: The teachers at the college are helpful, well-qualified, and possess good subject knowledge. They are ready to clear doubts both during and after class hours. Semester exams are moderately difficult and require consistent preparation. The questions are usually based on the syllabus, with a mix of theory and problem-solving.
Other: I was interested in this branch. We can go for core companies as well, and we can go for IT jobs. In college, there are college fests, a hostel fest, and a branch fest as well. All the events are conducted in a very disciplined manner.
