M.Pharma. in Regulatory Affairs - Batch of 2024

M.Pharm in Regulatory Affairs at JSS College of Pharmacy.
Placements: Macleods Pharmaceuticals, Intas Pharmaceuticals, and Apollo Pharmacies Limited were the leading organizations that hired M.Pharm graduates for the highest pay. A few other organizations, like Nigam Nutrimed and Ranks Medical, hired students for very low pay.
Infrastructure: The canteen portions were available with automatic services to satisfy our needs. In spite of this, manual services were also available in the canteen. The food available in the canteen was acceptable to eat most of the time. The instructions provided by the college were not adjusted according to our convenience. Whether we liked it or not, we had to follow them as they were.
Faculty: Lecturers did not get involved in any interdisciplinary activities against students. They were very mindful in their work and shared their opinions only when it was really needed. Our lecturers consistently worked throughout the day to help boost the students' grades.

Good college because of good working environment, good infrastructure, and good placement.
Placements: I have completed my course in 2023, 2021-2023 batch. In my course, 15 students were there in the P. Analysis branch, of which 08 students got placed. The highest package was offered by Baxter, which was 5.5 LPA and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA by Micro Lab.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good, and they provided sufficient equipment for our research work, like UV, IR, GC, HPLC, DSC, LC-MS, and NMR. All this equipment was sufficient for the research activities in pharmaceutical analysis, and we were free to use it.
Faculty: The teachers were so good. They were always helpful regarding our careers. They were very supportive. They were very well-qualified and would support and guide on every path. During our research work, they would look after our work and guide us individually. Teachers were helpful in exams.
Other: The working culture of JSS was too good. They provided a great environment for research activities, and they even conducted regular cultural activities.

The college is worth for money if we put in full effort.
Placements: Placements are good enough in this college. The package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA in the last year. Students with high knowledge in the course can get placements very easily. Our senior batch got the package of 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel and classrooms are good enough. The infrastructure is well-built. It is very clean and good. It is very spacious enough for several purposes. Classrooms are very well-ventilated and disciplined. Daily cleaning of the rooms is done.
Faculty: Exams and tests are done frequently and students are consulted according to the marks obtained by them. Teachers are well-experienced and will support students in their lab work mainly. Faculty members build interest in the course in students.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements, faculty members, and HOD, sir.
Placements: There were 80% placements in our batch, with companies like Quintiles, Baxter International, Biocon, Novartis, and Indegene offering packages of up to 7 Lacs. Lecturers and alumni also help in finding jobs. No internship is provided by the college; we need to find one on our own, but alumni are very supportive in this regard.
Infrastructure: There is no campus life; the college has a small area and a very small canteen with limited entries. Basically, the college is like school with many restrictions, including limited leaves each year. Hindi-speaking people are very few. Basic facilities like internet, well-equipped labs with all necessary chemicals, and a library are available. Four girls stay in one room, which includes gym access, cupboards, hot/cold water, and drinking water. The college mess serves only vegetarian food, but the quality and taste are good. Sports facilities are limited.
Faculty: Our branch has around 70-80 faculty members, including 9 for our branch. Our HOD is very supportive, encouraging students to participate in events like quizzes and dances. The course curriculum is more oriented towards industry use, with equal hours dedicated to practical and theory lectures. Exams are challenging, and students caught cheating are restricted from college.
Other: The admission process is online, but original certificate documents need to be submitted to the college at the time of admission due to limited seats. The course fee is 2.5 Lacs per year.

3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is the best college of pharmacy in Mysore.
Placements: About 50% of students are placed at Biocon, Pfizer, etc. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. It has a training and placement cell for recruitment. Many students got roles in quality assurance, medical writing, etc.
Infrastructure: It is a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus with a well-equipped modern laboratory. The food served in the hostel is better. It has good environment, with a herbal garden. The canteen serves food at an affordable price. Our college provides health insurance and free treatment to students in JSS Hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They have doctorates and many years of experience. The exam pattern is excellent. It is easy to pass but not to score. Each semester, 2 internal exams are conducted. The average of those marks is added to the semester-end exam. A minimum of 50 marks are needed, combining semester and internal exams. There are 20 multiple-choice questions in the main exam.
Other: Our college conducts functions like Kannada Sambrama, Onam, College Fest, and Chaturthi. It offers many certificate courses like Pharma.D, B.Pharma, and M.Pharm. It has online portals where students can access the digital content, attendance, feels, results, etc.
