Beyond the Brochure: An Honest Review.

Placements: I am a SYBIM student, so I haven't applied for placement yet, but via seniors, I got to know that the average package is expected to be 3.2 Lacs. The recruiting companies for BIM are TATA Consultancy, Google, Wipro, etc. A BIM student can expect a job in consultancy, portfolio management, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very normal. There are no campuses available in the class. The availability of classrooms for SFC is very poor. There is no canteen facility in the college, but the college also has a spacious and quiet library available for students to self-study.

Faculty: The faculty of the college are highly knowledgeable. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, researchers, etc. The curriculum is quite related to the course. The semester exams are of medium difficulty. I would say students have 2 exams throughout the year, which consist of internal and external exams as well, and passing both exams is mandatory. The college follows NEP and has credits.

Other: I chose the BIM department because I was quite interested in investment management. The course gives you exposure to the role one will play in the corporate world. The course provides visits to NSE, CDSL, MCX, NISM, etc. There are events like the students' cultural week, annual sports day, FinFrenzy, Finvestor, Tremor, etc. And additional courses with the existing courses such as Fintech.

Review of K.P.B Hinduja College of Commerce.

Placements: In this college, there are no on-campus placements. Although the teachers send some internship opportunities, but it is for students to go out and give the interview.

Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel facility is not provided. It has a library in this college and elevators are also available.

Faculty: There is no compulsion for attendance in this college. The exams will be conducted only once a semester and students do not have to worry about the projects and stuff. They just give students the marks and the curriculum is from Mumbai University.

Other: This should have been more of a practical course when students go and think about studying investment management, they do not think about the course that will teach them something from a book investment. It has a dynamic activity and it should be practically thought rather than teaching it from a book.

Good for studies and placement.

Placements: There are 6,000 students study in my course. The highest package is Rs 3,00,000 and the lowest package is Rs 40,000 and the average is Rs 70,000. Manpower Group India is the top company for our college. 90 per cent of students got internships from our college. Operation manager is the top role offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Speed of Wi-Fi is fast. We don't have to face any problems related to Wi-Fi or network. Classrooms are up to the mark. Labs consist 100 of computers and the library is the best. We can study any books. The quality of food is best and medical facilities are not that good. Also, sports and games facilities are not up to the mark.

Faculty: Teachers are the best. They taught us very well. They are qualified professors and their teaching quality is the best. The style of teachers is very unique. If anyone study from this college then they get qualified and also will get a job in the future. Yes, this makes students ready for industries.

Other: This course helps me to manage finance and also help to reduce the tax. No improvement is needed. All teachers and teaching style is the best. But this college doesn't organise many events and only concentrate on studies. Large number of crowd is seen in the college campus. The surroundings is very poor.

Good college with good services but some bad infrastructure

Placements: It was quite good company and the selection process was also fair by the company and the college has tried to give all students the placement in the company.I think college will try the best to get more company so that every student has their bright future in it.

Infrastructure: It is good But some of the classes are not as good as other class because of the benches and walkway area I will request them to change it as is all difficult to seat over there because of such bad infrastructure but other wise the college is as good as other college

Faculty: Faculty are good but the timing issue creates problem and also the classes are not empty for the lectures and timing of lecture are also on odd time and lecture are also some time boring no interaction, classrooms have no projectors no debate no drama non of the extra activities
