It is not a good college.

Placements: Our college does not provide any placements and internships. Some small startup companies visit our college for placements to recruit students. Few students got placed off campus. The salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The food served in the college is unhygienic and tasteless. Medical facilities, Wi-Fi, sports, and games are not available in our college. Our college has a huge playground for hostel students to play games after college. Labs are not good. Useful books are not available in the library.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful and qualified. They teach many subjects without knowing them. The course curriculum, exams, and pass percentages are followed according to the parent University.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: There were very few on-campus placements available at our college. I got selected but a few days later, it turned out to be a fraud company. There were some special drives. We had to pay some amount of around Rs.30,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Labs didn't have enough equipment but it was good. There was no Wi-Fi. We had a central library with very old books. The library had systems available. The food was not good. We had never seen hygienic food. There were no medical facilities available.

Faculty: There were very few faculty members who were not qualified but taught 3 to 4 subjects. Recently, our college hired some external faculty providers like Talentio. Those teachers were mature and came only to show off their makeup, not to teach at all.

Not at all satisfied with this college. I always regret why I joined here.

Placements: There are very little on campus placements. We never heard of those companies very small companies are coming for placements. Sometimes fake companies are also visiting for our campus I don't know why the management not checking the companies. Although many students got off campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Hostel food is the worst no hygiene at all and the taste is the worst at all. Food is one of the worst things in the college. Poor medical facilities. Big playground is available for hostlers they can play at evenings except during rainy season.

Faculty: Actually there are not enough faculty. A single unqualified teacher goes for more than three subjects in which he/she have zero knowledge. The curriculum decides by the university is good. Some faculty members are very rude even blackmails for lab marks.

Review of Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: About 20% of students got placed in my course. IT jobs are offered to students. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 2.75 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini come here. About 10% of students got internships in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The roles offered are software trainee etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. The labs are average. Wi-Fi is not provided. Classrooms are good. The hostel rooms are good, and the food is very bad. The mess isn't maintained well. Medical facilities are average. Sports and games facilities are available.

Faculty: Our faculty members are not good, and they don't come to class at times. A few teachers are good, and they have enough knowledge. They don't give industry knowledge to students. Semester exams are quite difficult, but we can manage to score 30% to pass.

Other: I opted for this course with my interest, and the best thing is that we can learn about new technologies. The equipment can be improved. Events are conducted here, and celebrities are invited. Fests are also held here. The crowd is huge and good.

It is a good college in every aspect.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, IBM, HCL, Accenture, Deloitte, Hexaware, Azure, Infotech, EPAM, Mphasis, etc. Wipro offered the top role.

Infrastructure: It is a very good college. The infrastructure is good. The food is tasty and hygienic. Medical and sports facilities are available at our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly, talented, qualified, and very knowledgeable. Lab assistants are also friendly. Every semester is easy and simple because they teach very effectively. Simple and logical methods are used. The pass percentage is 80.

Other: I chose this course because I like electrical and electronics engineering. The campus surroundings are very peaceful.
