Kalindi College is the hidden gem of Delhi University.
Placements: There is an average percentage of students getting placed in my college, and placements are not department-wise. In my course, students mostly find off-campus placements because the college does not offer great placement opportunities. However, there is no proper statistical data on the number of students getting placed. Around 15–20 students find internships on their own. While 5–7 students get internships through the internship or placement cell of the college. Top roles offered in my course are Content Writer, SEO Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, Human Resource Executive, Teacher, English Speaker, and others.
Infrastructure: The college campus is beautiful and has gardens at every corner. However, the college lacks basic amenities. The infrastructure is average and needs renovation. Wi-Fi is available only for faculty members and not for students. Classrooms can easily accommodate 50–60 students, but the fans do not work in most of them, so the classrooms are usually humid. The library is large and can easily accommodate 100–150 students. It also has air conditioning, which the classrooms lack. The hostel is not yet fully built. So most students prefer staying in PGs.
Faculty: Teachers are immensely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant. However, it does not make students industry-ready because the English Honours course is mostly based on the history and fundamentals of English literature. So it does not provide many of the skills required for corporate industries. The semester exams are moderately difficult as they test the students' knowledge of the course. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course because I am highly fascinated by the English language. The best thing about my course is definitely faculty. They are kind, generous, and very helpful to students. I wish the campus had better amenities and infrastructure because that is the one area where I feel the college falls short. The classrooms should have ACs, and the food quality in the canteen should be better. I also like the networking opportunities and the scope for extracurricular activities in my course.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.
Placements: As Kalindi College is one of the off-campus colleges of Delhi University, its placement rate is quite decent. Students getting placed from our college do not fetch very high packages, but they are very decent and good for any fresher to start a good career and boost their confidence. As I am pursuing B.Com, most of the preferred roles offered are in accounts, finance, and marketing.
Infrastructure: My college has its own Wi-Fi. There are also different Wi-Fi connections for different departments. The top-notch and well-maintained facilities are the medical room, gym, and sports room. Classes can be better and can be renovated. Although our college has proper ventilation and greenery all around it.
Faculty: Teachers in my college are very cooperative and supportive. Faculty in every department are perfect and knowledgeable. But college does not focus more on theoretical knowledge than practical experience. The semester exams are quite decent. Most students easily pass their respective exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in accounts and finance. I think this is my best decision, as this college has a majority of students from commerce backgrounds. Our department has proper facilities. They keep organizing seminars to improve students' knowledge and help them grow in their field.

My experience was okay, not too bad and not too bad.
Placements: The ratio of students getting placements is really low. We need to have a backup plan and strong skills to gain placements after college. Roles offered are sales executive, customer care, etc. Companies like Mother Dairy, etc., visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility was not available in the college when I was studying. The hostel work is under construction. The infrastructure is average. I do not have a lot of expectations from Kalindi's infrastructure, and I would be disappointed for real.
Faculty: In Kalindi College, the faculty members are of mixed experience, as they are both good and not so good. The old faculty members are really generous and helpful in nature. Some admins are too rude and not cooperative towards students and work according to their moods.
Other: The crowd and campus life throughout three years of my college life are below expectations. The campus life is not commendable because of the low infrastructure. The crowd at events and fests is not so much. It's an average experience.

It is a Delhi University college.
Placements: Placements are pretty decent. Students with a good GPA can get placed easily through the placement cell. You can get internships through cell, and everything is pretty decent. We can get easy guidance for preparation of placement exams, once placed, and also get a good stipend.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is also pretty decent, you will get a canteen, you will get good classrooms, playgrounds and also a park. We have a gym, a badminton court and a TT court, we have indoor and outdoor activities. Overall, good infrastructure. The hostel is not there.
Faculty: Faculty is very impressive, I got very nice teachers who helped us a lot through the semester, and also gave nice assignments, interesting lectures and good support. I will give them 5 stars for their hard work towards students, although not everyone is perfect, but all are pretty good.
Other: I chose Economics Hons because I liked economics as a commerce student. I also want to study further in this subject. I wish that the canteen and water system could be better, and classrooms could have proper spacing and ventilation for heatwaves. Events are happening, and they are very fun. People enjoy a lot at the fests and events, and a single girl child can get a full 100% scholarships.

It has average infrastructure, an average placement cell, and average faculty members.
Placements: I don't know much about placements here, but their consultancy and internship cell does send forms for jobs like telemarketing, and sales development. I don't think they have better placement options. Better roles like data analyst, front-end developer, and cybersecurity are not available. I had never seen a post coming like this in my 2 years of college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Buildings need renovation. Washrooms are not good, and they don't have proper blocks. Classrooms are fine. Computer labs are good, but there is no safety for stuff in bags, so students should not keep their valuables there. The library is good, but most of the English books that I want are not present. Wi-Fi facility works well. The hostel building just been completed, so the hostel facility is not present yet, but it will be available in a year or two.
Faculty: Faculty members' behaviour does vary. Some faculty members are good, teach genuinely, and don't do any favoritism. They genuinely calculate our marks. But most of them do favouritism. They check attendance and how regular we are in the section, then give marks in tests. I think that faculty members do not even check my test and just give me low marks based on attendance. Faculty members are average. Exams are moderate.

Only opt if you want a DU label in your CV.
Placements: Hardly 10 percent of students got job offers. The highest package for a tech company is around 5 LPA, and the average is around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, SBI BANK, HDFC BANK, and INFOSYS. Around 30% got an internship in some startups and 10 percent in SBI Bank and HCL. I think the top roles are consulting associate.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. The labs are decent, and the classrooms are like government school-classrooms. No hostel is available and it's still in process. Canteen food is good. You can get good samosas, read pakoda, for Rs. 10- Rs. 40. We have a gym also, for Rs. 300 per month. The trainer was good. The medical room is good. Not too big a sports ground but it's nice. You can also play table tennis and carrom on the first floor above the gym.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice. Did not have any bad experience with revision, doubt, and assignment. Professors are corporate. My political curriculum was nice, it was interesting, and I had fun learning international politics and relations. Exams are not at all difficult, it's just important to attend a few classes before the exam because teachers might tell you important topics to prepare, which really helps a lot. You need to get more than 33 marks to pass. If you fail in the 2nd semester, you will reappear for the same in the 4th semester.
Other: I chose Political Science because it is interesting, reading about policies, rules, and laws. It is not too hard to understand, I think some case studies would be better to improve. Events are decent, but no super-famous singer or artist has ever come. Lehren Fest is nice, especially the dance performances by students. The campus is in a residential area, so there is not much to roam, but the Karol Bagh market is just a Rs. 20 rickshaw ride away.
