CUET BHU CAP UG Portal
The BHU CAP UG Portal will be launched for undergraduate admissions at Banaras Hindu University through CUET. The portal will be made live at bhucue.samarth.edu.in. Candidates seeking admission at Banaras Hindu University for UG courses have to register themselves at the BHU CAP UG 2026 Portal by selecting their programme and college preferences in their CAP UG form 2026. Once the registration process is over, candidates will be allocated seats based on their selected preferences, CUET UG 2026 scores, and course-wise cut-off for different categories. Once the cut off list is released, candidates can check the allotment result at the portal.
The registration will be considered successful only if the relevant documents are submitted and the BHU CAP UG 2026 registration fee is paid. The university considers only those applications as valid that it receives through BHU’s official online portal, CAP UG. CUET normalised score is calculated as per the formula prescribed by National Testing Agency. The process is as follows:
- In first step, CUET raw scores are calculated for every candidate
- Then NTA calculates the percentile by applying the formula: Number of students with a CUET raw score equal to or less than a score a particular candidate/ Total number of students) x 100
- After converting into percentile, the scores are then normalised based on difficulty level of each session/slot
No, you cannot get admission to IIT BHU through CUET. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), including IIT BHU offers admission based on JEE scores. However, the Banaras Hindu University offers admission to 23 undergraduate courses through CUET UG scores.
BHU accepts CUET UG scores for admission to several undergraduate courses, including BA (Hons.) in Social Sciences, BA LLB (Hons.), etc. CUET cut-off for BHU has been released for UG courses. BHU has released the Round 4 Seat Allotment Result, and as per the BHU round 4 cutoff 2025, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology was the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the General category student.

To know the cut off for CUET UG courses, candidates must stay updated with the notification released by the universities for admissions. National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.
The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:
- Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
- The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam
- Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)
CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:
100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.
Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.
- Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
- On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
- A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
- Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released
The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Banaras Hindu University will open the BHU CAP UG 2026 correction window, tentatively in the first week of August 2026, for already registered candidates. With this, candidates can edit the BHU CAP UG 2026 registration form and save the updated changes. BHU CAP UG 2026: Seat Allocation

BHU CAP UG 2026: Offer Acceptance
Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to accept the offer by paying a commitment fee of INR 2500 (INR 500 for SC/ST) online. The fee has to be paid by 6 PM by the next day on which the BHU CUET UG merit list is published; otherwise, the admission will be withdrawn permanently.
Candidates who wish to float or upgrade for higher preferences must not pay the fee to lock the seat.

BHU CAP UG 2026: Provisional Admission Letter and Fee Payment
Once a candidate locks a seat and receives the provisional admission, they have to visit the university the next day by 10 AM for offline counselling. The admission department will provide the candidates who have locked their seats with their admission letter. Candidates are required to collect the letter and review the details for any discrepancies. Once done, candidates must pay the balance course fee at the university to confirm the admission.

No, CUET is not compulsory for admissions in the institute. The UG admissions are based on Class 12 marks. Students have to fill the application form on the Rajasthan University official website. The university allocates seats in all courses on the basis of merit scores.
