My honest review of my college.
Placements: As this Malla Reddy University was established just 2 years ago, students have not tasted the placements yet, but the college is showcasing so many companies, and they are linked up with IBM for some special courses. We hope there will be some good placements for students. There are many internships in final year. It is a 3-year or 4-year course. Students who topped the exams will get internships in well-certified companies like Infosys and also in many software companies.
Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel facility for girls and boys. Food is 5-star rated food that is healthy and hygienic. Morning yoga classes for students who are staying in hostel. Hostel is inside the college only. No need to worry about transportation.
Faculty: It's a very old college with a very good teaching faculty, and it comes under India's No. 1 ranked university. I just love my course because I love to read about different countries, and as I am a civil services aspirant, it will be helpful. It was the toughest course I ever attended or heard from someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years is hard-earned. A lot to learn. Professors there set very high benchmarks for students. Industry-level assignments are done in course curriculum. Professors don't allow cheating or copying from internet-available assignments.

Together for a better world.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 22 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, Mahindra, etc., and others visit for placements. About 90% of students from our course have received internships. An assistant recruiter from a reputed company is recommended in the year 2023.
Infrastructure: The accommodation is clean and hygienic, with proper food. As per the guidelines, they follow rules for maintaining food safety. They take care to provide healthy food for the students. The accommodation is maintained hygienically according to rules.
Faculty: Faculty members are very responsible and approachable toward students. They are highly educated and qualified professors who work for the benefit of students. They take care of us like their own children. They teach in a good manner and do not try to impress or charm students.
Other: I want to become a Data Scientist, so I choose this course. I am very interested in collecting data, and that interest motivates me to take this course.

I think my review can have an impact.
Placements: So basically, the course I chose is AIML, which is a new course, and my batch is the 3rd, which means 2 batches have passed out from the college regarding this course. As the future is completely based on AI, I chose it, but coming to reality, the college doesn't offer much practical knowledge about this course, and placements are very low. Even if you study this course in our college, you will get jobs in service centers as part of the customer support team.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is old and doesn't match your expectations, but the college is trying to improve its infrastructure by continuously building blocks to expand rooms, labs, etc., to better serve the students and is trying to assign a separate block for each branch.
Faculty: Teaching is somewhat better compared to others, with almost 15 faculty members for this course, but only 6 of them were doctorates. I studied under the outdated R20a regulation, while the current regulation is R23, which better addresses current opportunities. Although my college is autonomous and manages its own exams, it tries hard to pass students even when exam papers are difficult, but not always successfully; the current pass percentage is 59%.

Good infrastructure, environment, and faculty.
Placements: Approximately students having about 70% are placed from my course. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA in my course. The top companies that recruit in our course are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., and that is the genuine review of my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the classrooms is very well-maintained and the labs are very highly technological and it feels like you're in some IT company. Library is very well-managed and the infrastructure of the library is very good. Everything is good except the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and explain everything in very humble and understanding way. Their way of explaining the concepts to every student is very appreciable and this type of learning makes students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I'm a tech person and I'm into it, there's nothing to change or to improve.

Amazing infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The 2024 batch had good placements, with the highest package being 6 LPA and the lowest package being 3 LPA. Many MNC companies held placements. Additionally, 3 out of every 5 members got free course training. There was a sports room, and the canteen served nice food.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms were very clean, and all the infrastructure was very good. Washrooms and other facilities were also very clean, with daily cleaning being done. The hostel food was nice, and the canteen offered many snacks and food items were available. A sports room was also available, along with many sports kits.
Faculty: Faculty members were very supportive. They encouraged us to learn new things that would be better for our future. I learned many things, and faculty members were very friendly. Even during lunch time, they would solve our queries.
Other: Every year, the annual day celebration was held, and we enjoyed a lot on that day. The fest also lasted for 3 days, with many cultural activities and useful games and business lessons we can learn.

Overall the college environment is good.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed at KHIT College. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Only a few companies visit the college. They provide low internships. Top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The hostel is not very good. The food is okay in the college. Toilets are not very good. The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi to students. The library is good for studying.
Faculty: It has a mediocre faculty with limited industry experience. The curriculum is outdated. Exams are relatively hard. The main focus is on exams. We have mid-semester exams. Results will be late, not so fast. Our faculty members are not very experienced. The course has some experienced faculty members.

Hostel fees at Kallam Haranadhareddy Institute of Technology, Guntur for the 2023–24 academic year are:
Boys' hostel (with mess): approximately INR 67,500 per year
Girls' hostel (with mess): INR 75,000 to INR 85,000 per year
These include non-AC rooms with basic amenities.
