Absolutely satisfied because of the campus life and placements.

Placements: In our course, the college gives us a 99% placement rate, ensuring a starting salary of 20000+ and a maximum of 1 lakh per month. Companies such as Texas, Cadence, TVS, and Tata Motors, etc., come here for placements. The college assures a supervisory post for most students.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi all over our college and an advanced library. Our classes consist of advanced projectors and good-quality seats. The canteen offers good meals, ensuring breakfast, lunch, and evening tea. There are numerous options for every meal section with unlimited cold water.

Faculty: All faculties in our college have a minimum qualification of completing their doctorates and higher graduation in their subjects. All of them are friendly and helpful. Our course focuses more on industrial sections than theory sections.

Other: I chose this course because of its contemporary relevance. It would be better to add more industrial visiting sections. The college provides minimum quality programs, fests, and proper scholarships.

I am entirely happy with the college atmosphere.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students in our course were placed, with the highest package at 13 Lacs and the lowest at 3 Lacs per annum. Thoughtworks is the top recruiting company in our course, and all students secured internships. The top role is that of supervisors.

Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi, well-arranged labs, and very clean classrooms without any dust. The library is air-conditioned and offers quality books, magazines, newspapers, etc. There is a budget-friendly canteen with the best food and water.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, but there are some lacking proper knowledge. The new curriculum, including two internships, acquaints students with the industrial atmosphere. Exams are currently conducted without a proper timeframe due to the previous pandemic.

I am absolutely satisfied with the campus life and placements of 2023.

Placements: As of the current conditions in college, luckily we have the best placement officer. Above 90 percent of students are getting placed with the highest package of INR 9 LPA offered by Texas Electronics in the previous year and an average of 3–4 LPA in our electronics and electrical department. The placement cell is trying their best to put the students in the best position. Students can choose whether to go for placement or to continue their studies.

Infrastructure: In college, there is free Wi-Fi for all students and faculty members. As this is the only government polytechnic college in Kozhikode district, most of the machinery and equipment are available in our labs. And also, some of the other private colleges also refer to our labs due to a lack of machinery in their colleges.

Faculty: Faculty members are normally friendly with students and really help us but as usual, there are one or two with no benefits and completing their modules just for salary. As per the latest revised syllabus of 2021, exams need to be improved because additional exams are conducted along with regular exams so the student needs to wait 1 year, which is not acceptable. As per the revised syllabus of 2015, it was possible to write the supplementary exam during their next semester with only 4-5 months of waiting.

Other: I preferred this course (Electronics and Electrical Engineering) because I am interested in electronics. As of now (November 2023), our course is not accredited by the NBA and I am willing to make it possible as soon as possible.

Our college provides good placements in good companies.

Placements: Almost 65% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 21,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were Infosys and MRF. Almost 90% of students got internships from our college in KSEB and Infosys. The top role offered was a programmer.

Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities like labs, smart classrooms, a library, etc. Our college had not provided a hostel facility. The food served in the canteen was good and affordable.

Faculty: Our teachers were highly qualified and very helpful. Almost 95% of students passed their exams. Exams were moderate. Students who study well can pass exams easily.

Other: I opted for this course because I want to know about electricity. Our college should improve its labs. Our college conducted many events and fests. Our campus is very good and peaceful.

Absolutely good for any student who wishes to take Diploma in engineering. Good placements!

Placements: Placements are assured for top performers from famous companies with good salary packages. From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I don't know the name of the companies that visit here but electrical and electronics department is giving 90% placement to the students without back papers. After completing the Diploma course, I will be eligible to get a supervisor license in electrical work and will move on with further work.

Infrastructure: No hostel facility is available. It's the only negative about this college. This is one of the major drawbacks of our college. Polytechnic College Kozhikode does not have hostel facility. But there are many rooms near our college with cheap rates and good quality.

Faculty: Top faculty and infrastructure are good. Labs are present and a canteen is there with budget friendly food. The college has around 90 teaching staff. There are 9 general faculty members involved in subjects of Mathematics (2 each), similarly for Physics, Chemistry and English.

Other: College location is at the heart of Calicut city.
