Kingston Engineering College is the best engineering college in Vellore.
Placements: Kingston Engineering College was one of the best engineering colleges in Vellore. This college provided more placement opportunities. All students were easily passed in a campus interview. This college offered more internship opportunities. Top recruiting companies like such as Tata, TCS, Infosys, etc., came to campus for interviews.
Infrastructure: Kingston Engineering College was the biggest college in Vellore. A greater number of classrooms, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, laboratories, and libraries were available. Hostel facilities were available on campus. Hostel foods were very tasty and healthy.
Faculty: At Kingston Engineering College, teachers were very intelligent and talented. They were teaching very well, especially since they conducted more placements in classrooms. Additional courses were also taught very well. All students passed the semester exams. More than 90% of students passed semester exams.
Other: Kingston Engineering College gave more scholarships and more placement classes than any other college. It was a good campus.

The management is concerned only about marks, and a test is conducted every day.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed, but the companies were not good. The packages were very low, and some companies only offered internships for one year. There were no top companies for recruitment. The roles offered were apprenticeship and trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but there are no separate buildings for different branches. The college has only 2 buildings. The library is well maintained. The hostel is good and well maintained. The food in the mess is terrible. No importance is given to sports.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. They are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good except 1 or 2 teachers. The curriculum is structured according to the semester exams. I am not sure if it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are hard since the college is affiliated with Anna University.

I am satisfied with the faculty and placements. I am unsatisfied with infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 8,000-60,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Ford, Land, etc., visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is an employee. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 60,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. All the students got an internship in many companies like ICF, Hyundai, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in this college are lower than the other colleges. Wi-Fi facility is not available. Labs are available, and the classrooms are better. The library is available with technical and non-technical books. Hostel rooms are good and all-time hot water, and drinking water is available. Taste of the food served to the students is average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, helpful and qualified. They help the students to gain knowledge. They completely involve in improving students knowledge. Their teaching quality is good, and it is easy by projectors. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students 80% industry-ready by technical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like the invention and developing new bikes and cars. I wish the college should improve practical knowledge in our course. Students are allowed to use facilities in the college. Events and fests organised at our college are less.

Not fully satisfied but fine. The campus is clean. There are good library and labs.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of the students without arrears in our college get placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. Top recruiters are Hyundai, TVS, Ashok Leyland, and some more companies. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. Almost all students are given references to companies for internships.
Infrastructure: The library has a bunch of books. Wi-Fi is available for all students and staff members. We have smart classrooms to know the process visually. Labs are neat with good working machines. The hostel food is average. I am a day scholar. However, the rooms are good. I don't know about the medical facilities. They also conduct sports day, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful for students. They are friendly and good at teaching. There are knowledgeable faculty in our mechanical engineering department. Their teaching quality is almost good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready as they provide internships.
Other: I didn't plan to join this department. My plan was to join the automobile, but I joined the mechanical branch. However, this department is good, and we can know about all like machines, automobile relative and more. They must change the syllabus and include new machines and more. Scholarships are provided. There are sports and games. The campus surrounding is clean.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the behaviour of the faculty.
Placements: The placements will get only for those students who don't have any backlogs. Also, limited companies comes to the campus. The salary offered was too low. The companies like TVS, Caparo, Kaza will come for placement activities, and I don't think that placements are useful for students who expect a good pay scale. The core companies are limited in the campus.
Infrastructure: The college had the Wi-Fi facility. There are good classrooms and labs. The library is also good with books, and also a various collection of books are there. There is not much scope in sports, but it is there up to some extent. The canteen is good for snacks, but it will not satisfy your needs. The hostel facility is available. Some students faced infrastructure issues.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, but I don't think that every teacher is knowledgeable, and only a few are good. The teaching methods are good, but students are being harassed by keeping daily tests, and more workload. The student to faculty ratio may be 70:1 on an average.
Other: There are events like workshop and national level technical symposium in the college. There is a good peaceful surrounding, but less scope for the sports.
