It could be best for you.

Placements: Everyone gets internship as it is compulsory for two months. 10-15 students get placed until now with the highest package of 6 Lacs and the lowest of 3 Lacs. Very few or almost no civil company would come to hire the students. These companies visit here - Capgemini, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in labs and decent enough at hostel. The campus is cool and has natural beauty. Mess food is just like any other mess. Sports is not great like no proper net for cricket, etc. There is one big common ground for all sports. But the competition is real.

Faculty: The teachers are just like any other good engineering college. In every dept you will find 3-4 teachers who you will admire and look after. The semester exams are tough enough and depends on how well you understand study throughout.

Other: I would say that I don't regret studying Civil Engineering here despite the lack of job opportunities. As it is in almost all the fields except IT. So focus on skills, enjoy your time in the campus, societies, clubs, etc. Civil Engineering has a lot to offer you if you are willing to study it.

It is the best engineering college in Kolhapur.

Placements: A good number of students were placed from all the branches of this college. CSE and IT had almost 100% placements in MNCs like Capgemini, Persistent, etc. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Most of the students got the role of GET, while others were hired as JE.

Infrastructure: Our college has a huge campus and is spread over an area of more than 100 acres. Our college is equipped with a huge playground for cricket and football and has a basketball court. Every department has a separate building with its own labs and classrooms. Our college has a huge central library, and the entire campus is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Faculty: KIT is one of the most reputed and oldest colleges. It has a huge group of senior faculty members who have experience of more than 10 to 15 years. Even they have excellent knowledge. The course curriculum has been recently revised and is well in accordance with the industry requirements.

Other: I chose civil engineering because I found huge growth opportunities here in the coming future. I wish that this course should be designed in a more dynamic way and should focus more on practical implementation. Our college has a good overall environment to nurture students academics as well as extracurricular ambitions.

It is a reputed college with good campus and placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements for civil engineering are quite hard as only 1-2 companies visited our college. Rest other courses have good placements. Internships these days are offered from college. The salary package offered during placements is average. Some of the companies which are visiting our campus are KPIT, Capgemini and Tata Motors.

Infrastructure: Labs in the civil engineering department are well-equipped with advance technologies. Department has a vast collection of the latest equipment required for civil engineering work. Classrooms and library have a good study environment, and the library has a vast collection of the latest books. It is well-equipped with internet facility.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified and are expertise in different specialisations of civil engineering. The course curriculum is quite relevant and helpful for students to cope with the industry. Professors also have the sight of developing students skills with field experiences.

Placements: For civil department most students choose government competitive exams so campus placement varies each year depending upon infrastructure market. Companies like ashok infrastructure, shobha construction, L and T offers various jobs according to the academic performance. Package varies from 1 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Each department of KIT has its own building and attractive infrastructures. Civil department has well-equipped labs with all the facilities to conduct all experiments. Classrooms are also provided with projectors. KIT college has central library which is also a main attractive infrastructure itself. There are few canteens around the campus but lot of mess are available for the hostel students.

Faculty: Teacher faculty of civil department is well experienced and provides best technical as well as practical knowledge which is required on field for the various job positions. Civil engineering students needs practical knowledge to be job ready after the graduation so there are various local internships programs that were provided by department .

Our college provides good facilities.

Placements: It's hard to get on-campus placements for the civil department here. Even if you get also, it will be in a local company with the highest salary package of 2 LPA. However, apart from that, teachers help to get a job. Moreover, in the last year, about half of the students from the batch cleared their PwD exam and currently are in a good position.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best as it was designed by one of the best architects having more than 200 levels in 3 floors. Most of the building is built with stone masonry, which keeps us cool in summer and hot in winter.

Faculty: In the first year, it's little hard with teachers, but later, teachers are friendly and would help to solve any problem, whether related to curriculum or other than the curriculum.
