All about SGGSIE&T, Nanded.

Placements: The overall placement scenario is average in the overall institute. The IT sector gets a good amount of money, and the number of students placed is around 80-90%. Apart from the IT sector, core branches like civil and mechanical can also expect a good package. The highest package to date is 60 LPA, and the average is 5.4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is above average. The institute has a lush green campus and Wi-Fi connectivity in every corner of the campus. Boys are given two hostels, namely Sahyadri and Nandgiri, and girls have three hostels, namely Krishna, Godavari, and Devgiri. The quality of food in the hostel mess is good and hygienic, with consideration given to the nutritional value of the food.

Faculty: Teachers in each course are very helpful and qualified, with knowledge in their respective fields. The institute gives freedom for students to explore industries by giving a handful of summer and winter vacations. The exam pattern consists of 3 exams semester examination 1, semester examination 2, and the end term. Students have to score a total of 40 marks in each course to pass the course.

Other: The institute has 3 national gatherings in an academic year via sports, technical, and cultural fests. The institute is away from the city, which makes students feel free from pollution and safe. Overall, the institute is value for money and can give you a handful of memories by the end of the degree.

Review of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: I am from Latur, so I admitted to this college in 2023-2024. I have seen that there are no placements in civil engineering but the teaching system is good. 30-40% of students get placed every year from our branch. Various companies come to our college for interviews and they choose intelligent and skilled students for the job. The average package for civil students ranges from 3-4 LPA. The college will track us in Autocad 3D drawing, which is the most important for the job. In our college, the highest package is 52 LPA. Our college also invites companies like Infosys, Honeywell, Bitwise, Cognizant, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but the hostel food is not good. Students can see the image of the college on Google. It has a big library for both girls and boys. We have 2 boys hostels and 2 hostels for girls. It has 2 communities for girls and boys. Boys and girls have to take care of their food. It provides the best facilities.

Faculty: Exam preparation and exams are held very strictly. Teachers take care of everyone's preparation for good marks and for their future they advise for good choices. They teach us the whole syllabus for exams and revise and complete our skills and development of our skills. They take practical exams to test our skills and give the best preparation for fields.

Very satisfied with college. The reputation of this college will help me to recruit in companies.

Placements: The college is making various efforts to prepare students for facing industrial requirements so they are giving training for placement rounds for interview guidance and internship opportunities. Various roles were offered not only for it students but also for core branches like civil and mechanical branches. Students were also placed in placement drives.

Infrastructure: Hostels are provided with very low-cost amenities for mess and the canteen is very good. Hygienic sports and games are taken at high-level state-level competitions with various updated facilities. The college has large infrastructure for various departments well-maintained library and labs classrooms with AC .

Faculty: Our college faculty members are very well qualified engineers because they are qualified in MPSC to get this job so they are always guided us for students; there guidance is also very important. The college was autonomous so they conducted a course curriculum that was beneficial for competitive exams.

I am not satisfied with its campus life. It provides excellent teachers and average infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 60-70% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is B.P. Sangle Constructions. Almost 50% of students get internships in various private companies based on their interests. The top role offered is a construction manager.

Infrastructure: The facilities such as laboratories, classrooms, and libraries are very good in the civil department. Wi-Fi connectivity issues are a major problem in our department. Hostels are excellent for second-year and third-year students, but not for first-year students as the Nandgiri hostel is not good. The mess facility is average, with a repeating schedule, and students will get bored after eating the same food. Our college has about 10 acres of sports ground which includes a cricket ground, football ground, and basketball court. Medical facilities are not good, because the staff is always absent.

Faculty: All teachers are the best in this college. HOD is not good, but all faculty members are helpful, kind, and hardworking. If students are looking for competitive exams like GATE then they should look forward to this college. The course curriculum mostly focuses on students' overall technical as well as practical knowledge development, so after completing this course students can easily survive the competition in companies. The semester exams are very easy with marking patterns as 10-30 and 10-60 i.e 10 marks on a practical basis, and 30, 60 for theoretical exams i.e 40. The pass percentage is around 90-95%.

Other: I chose this course, because of my interest in civil engineering. It would be better if it provides experienced laboratory assistants. If students are looking for some big fests then they are in the wrong place. The fests are not good in this college. The crowd is also not good.

Our college is good for development.

Placements: Our college placements are awesome and lots of companies visit for placement. Approximately 40 companies visit and more than 400 students are placed and average placement is also getting better year wise and the ratio is also increasing.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome and lots of greenery around campus, big ground, and lots of trees, atmosphere is awesome. Hostel is also good with all facilities like tables, electricity and very less fees. Hostel infrastructure is quite impressive as per your convenience.

Faculty: Faculty is helpful and free-minded allowing you to open up your skills. Curriculum is the same as other engineering colleges and the burden is less on exams you will score well by studying daily. There are a lot of events in college that make you excited and better.

Last year this college ranked fifth in all over India for government colleges.

Placements: Placements for core branches is very low. Though IITs and NITs also have similar scenario for core branches. Percent of placement was 5%. Package is around 4 - 5 lakhs. Companies for recruitment are adani power, Toyo. Internships is 0. If you want good placement after studying 4 years of B.Tech then this college may not be a good option for.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is excellent if you compare with other government colleges in Maharashtra which college have best infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available labs, classroom, library are in good condition also make is available with good quality of food and all other facilities are available.

Faculty: All the professors are Ph.D. holders from there it is there quite helpful good in academic but curriculum is relatively older. Comparatively recent changes exams are not that much difficult 40 out of hundred will pass. There are two exams per semester latitude semester exam and end semester exam you will have to get at least 40 marks per subject in order to pass the subject.

Other: Core department in this college are struggling for displacement but if you wanna go with software branches then you will get a good placement other than academic this college have excellent culture.

The college provides good faculty support and infrastructure.

Placements: Overall placements of the college are okay. Around 70-80% of students get placed every year. Companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, visit the campus every year for placements. Placement cell is trying continuously to scale up the placements. Companies visiting for civil engineering department are quite less with a package of around 2-3 LPA.

Infrastructure: SGGSIET has well-equipped computer labs. Even the facilities of library, gym, hostel canteen, hostels for girls and boys, etc., are available. The college supports sports activities and has the necessary infrastructure for the same. It has a basketball court, cricket playground, and various sports equipment, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members at SGGSIET Nanded are well experienced. They are very helpful and provide necessary guidance throughout the year. The course curriculum is well organised and rigorous. Civil engineering students have to undergo field training during the third year. It gives them necessary exposure to the site work and industry.

It is a good autonomous college.

Placements: Placements for the civil branch in SGGS College are not good as compared to the electronics, computer, and information technology branches. However, as compared to the placement of the previous years, our batch was lucky to get more campus placements in the year 2015. Companies like Alfara, Grand Hyatt, Suroj Buildcon, etc., visited the campus for placements. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. However, as the civil branch has too much scope in the government sector, almost 80% of the candidates are now doing government jobs in various government departments.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are separate departments for each branch. There are separate labs equipped with all modified instruments. Hostel facility is too good with all the furniture. Administrative building and auditorium is that main attraction. The library is also provided here with many books of various authors.

Faculty: All faculty members of the civil branch are well qualified and have deep knowledge of their specific subjects. They provided the best theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge. Even they used to help us in our final year project. So all the faculty members are good.

Other: Pragyaa is the main event of SGGS College, and in that, Cenfest was the event organised by the civil engineering department. It consists of a paper presentation, tower making, city planning, etc. Moreover, winners were awarded the prize money and certificates. Apart from this, there is a special event organised only for the civil engineering department, i.e., Constromatics, which was totally arranged by civil branch students. It consists of construction materials exhibition which is arranged in the city, and it was open to all the citizens. It helps people to choose the best material for their construction.
