It is really a good college for engineering and MBA. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In my college kit, I am studying in the CSBS department. The percentage of students who got placed is about 10. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest package offered is also 7 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Companies like TCS, Adobe, Infosys, and Bentley are offering packages. There are about 4 students who got internships.

Infrastructure: In my department, there are fully ventilated classrooms. In all classrooms, there are digital screens from BenQ systems. All classrooms have different Wi-Fi connections. There are fully equipped 6 computer labs with computer systems. There are three different canteens that are well-facilitated. In my hostel, the rooms are clean and clear. A separate study room is available. There is a ground where you can play cricket, volleyball, football, kabaddi, etc.

Faculty: All the teaching staff of the CSBS department are excellent and knowledgeable. All teachers are helpful and qualified. They teach each subject very well. There is a BCVS subject in which they will teach us to interact with others, stage daring, interview training, speech training, GDS, etc. Semester exams are not so difficult. Teachers give us important questions that we study to clear the exam. The exam is divided into 3 components ISE, for each semester, there are two ISEs for 10 marks each. MSE, mid-semester exam of 30 marks. To pass, you need MSE, ISE1, and ISE2 with a minimum of 20 marks. ESE this is of 50 marks.

Other: I chose the CSBS course because it offers a unique combination of computer science and business knowledge. In today’s industry, technical skills alone are not enough. Engineers are also expected to understand business processes, management, and decision-making. KIT Kolhapur organises lots of events throughout the year, from hackathons like SMART India Hackathon, ideathons, educational series, debates, and cultural events to annual social gatherings and tech competitions. The crowd is described as lively and diverse making campus life social and fun.

Excellent placement offers or a modern structural campus.

Placements: At KIT College mechanical branch offers excellent placements. In each academic year, 90 to 95% of students are placed by campus job offers. The highest package is 15 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Tata Power, etc. 90% of students got internships from the 2nd year.

Infrastructure: The mechanical department of KIT College is modern and big. It contains labs, office, toilets, classroom, and also contains a large parking area. Students face many problems related to mess and food beacuse the available mess is very less and they do not give proper quality food. In college area, some private rooms are present which give good quality of living as compared to college and private hostels.

Faculty: Teachers at KIT College in each department are well-experienced. They are qualified and educated. Each teacher gives help to every student. The syllabus of academic year is helpful to everyone beacuse it depends on practical knowledge. The exam level is hard, and 90% of students crack it.

Other: I joined KIT due to its excellent placement offers. I also want to complete my B.Tech education in core branch so I chose mechanical branch.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Average package offered is 6 LPA. Serum and YNUM like companies come for campus placement offers. 8th semester is all about an internship, and they have training sessions right from the second year. It's better if students develop their personality from an early stage.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Labs are good. Classroom is a little bit small. Department is surrounded by a garden so it's very refreshing to enter. Washrooms are also clean. Library has several books, and computer lab is also very satisfying.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, make us work hard, and overall it's very good. They have extra courses with degree itself like MDM, and I have data analytics for that. Even B.Tech hons and emerging minor, you can do as well to add more credit. We have good faculty members for that as well.

Other: Everything is good already, department, events, activities, projects, and all help to build a better future for myself. Seniors are helpful. There is no thing like ragging in the college, managing events is more fun than stress.

Good infrastructure, faculty teaching, well-educated faculty members, and campus is also good.

Placements: I am pursuing electrical engineering at KIT College of Engineering. Around 70-75% of our seniors got placed in companies like Tata Power, Wipro, Pari, etc. They got good package around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Our department also provides internships in industry. There are also mass recruitment drives in our college.

Infrastructure: Our electrical department is well equipped with machines and necessary devices needed for practical. In our lab, we have good Wi-Fi facilities. We have good classroom also. Our library is well-equipped with various books needed for all departments. Hostel of our college is clean and good it also has discipline.

Faculty: Most of our faculty members have completed PhD. Faculty members have good practical knowledge but they lack a little bit in theoretical knowledge. Our lab assistants are very helpful in practical sessions. Most of our syllabus contains theoretical subjects. It also includes practical sessions which give hands-on experience to the students. The average passing marks needed for students are for ESE exam out of 50, we need 20 marks compulsory to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue electrical engineering in Kolhapur. Our branch is core branch that's why I chose this branch. Our college provides scholarships for students from reservations, and they also take project-based learning. Every semester, they conduct extracurricular activities, just a little improvement is needed. They do not provide college uniforms to students. I think that it is good to make compulsory uniform wear for students to maintain discipline.

This is one of the best colleges in West Maharashtra.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in my college. The average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The highest package remained at 10 LPA for on-campus and 41 LPA for off-campus. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Bentley Systems, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. College has partnerships with TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and many more.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped, while the internet facility is the worst. There is no proper Wi-Fi facility in the library as well as department for personal devices. The newer hostels are good and the old ones are not in a condition where one can live peacefully.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, as well as knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant as the branch is sponsored by TCS. It is industry ready course with proper development. The passing percentage is 81%. The exams are not difficult as it is an autonomous college. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage varies according to the department.

Other: I chose this course because it has both computer and business.

A really good college with improving infrastructure and a friendly environment for outsiders.

Placements: In our batch, the placement percentage for the course is 100 percent with every eligible student securing an internship or job offer. The average package ranges from 4 LPA to 8 LPA. Several top-tier companies actively recruit from our course for both internships and jobs including Biocon, Enzene, Byju's, AdametNxt, Curateq, and others. Most students in our department choose higher education, pursuing MS/M.Tech either abroad or at IITs and other esteemed universities. We have 100 percent placements and internships and our curriculum follows an industry-based setup, adding significant value to the professional world.

Infrastructure: We have separate labs for Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, and Bioprocessing. The department is equipped with Wi-Fi facility and smart classrooms. The hostel is well-maintained, with regular cleaning, and the fees are very affordable. Security is good, and the canteen mess is well-maintained. A medical facility is available in the hostel, with a doctor visiting twice a week. The college provides ground facilities and takes good care of sports, allowing students to play on campus until the closing time of the college.

Faculty: We have mostly Ph.D. qualified teachers who are well-qualified for the curriculum. As an autonomous college, we design and revise the curriculum every cycle based on new advancements, alumni feedback, and industry people etc. This ensures an updated and industry-driven curriculum. Semester exams are moderate, with a good passing percentage of around 70%. For students with backlogs, the college provides makeup exams twice along with supplementary exams, so passing the exams is not a tough thing.

Other: I have a huge interest in Life Sciences and Genetics, which is why I have chosen Biotechnology. Talking about cultural and extracurricular programs, we have Pioneer and Meraki as annual events, where students volunteer and organize the programs. These events include various activities such as project presentations, idea and model exhibitions, dance, singing, and role-play performances. Our college also offers numerous scholarships to students ranging from 50 to 100 percent based on eligibility.
