It has an excellent campus and atmosphere. Changing faculty members is a problem.
Placements: Since our college is a professional college. It mainly emphasizes the development of skills throughout the course so that a pass-out alumnus can live through their career by applying those skills. Out of around 100 students, each year, 40% of students get housestaffship in respectable government institutions.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our college are extraordinary compared to the fee structure. Every classroom is air-conditioned with efficient smart class amenities and comfortable seating arrangements. Since practical work is most important, both preclinical and clinical facilities are top-notch and are maintained efficiently. Hostel facilities within the campus are safe and secure. Both girls and boys have separate buildings and having tight security. The canteen is clean and fresh, with only vegetarian dishes being served, and all amenities required for hassle-free and spacious refreshment opportunities.
Faculty: All faculty members are extremely well-qualified with amazing teaching skills that immensely help to build fundamentals and skills in Dentistry. The course is surely large, but all medical subjects up to the 3rd professional BDS are taught in the medical college in Kolkata, which in name itself is a respectable institute. College internals are actually difficult with very carefully set question papers, both in theory and practical. They help hugely in sitting for the university exams as we are prepared at a much higher level. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: A dentist is a doctor, an engineer, and also an artist, so our institute masters in creating. Although the career opportunity is limited in the government sector for BDS in our country. Skills earned can hugely set us up in the future financially. Our campus is excellent at organising events. Every year for 3 days, an annual fest is organised, which is a great opportunity for flexing our extracurricular activities. The campus is at the heart of Kolkata, just beside the river Ganga, and offers an excellent and serene atmosphere for learning. There is an amazing event management.

Best equipped dental college.
Placements: There are no placements since it is a dental college. You have to set up your own clinic or go for a master's for a better opportunity. There might be some jobs at chain dental places like Apollo Dental or Narayana Healthcare. It is better to get clinical knowledge and open a clinic.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, 3D modeling denture labs, etc. are there. The lift is always available, there is a nice cafeteria, the library has a lot of books, and you can issue them for 14 days. The hostel has good veg-only food 4 times a day. There is also a cafeteria.
Faculty: The faculty is really nice; they will explain every topic to you very clearly. They take quizzes after every chapter. The curriculum is hard, so every day study is to be studied every day. There is no semester but one final exam at the end of the year. Class tests happen regularly.

Do not take admission here. You’re better off doing something else.
Placements: Just like most, if not all, medical or dental colleges, there are no campus placements. This makes the first three questions irrelevant. Internship is mandatory, so all who pass the final professional exam become interns. Roles include house staff, understudy, and independent dentist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is acceptable. There is no Wi-Fi. Classrooms are air-conditioned and have smart boards. The library is decently stocked. Hostel facilities are unsatisfactory. Food is expensive and not very good. Sports activities are very selective, and most students do not get a chance to play.
Faculty: Some teachers care, but most do not. A few are actively toxic. Teaching is only as good as the presentations available. Very few make the effort to explain material not included in the presentations. The less said about WBUHS, the better. It is as worthless as they come. The pass mark is 50%.
Other: Choosing this course or this college is a mistake. The best thing about both is that they eventually end. The campus crowd is morose, surprisingly. Connectivity is very poor. The college is located in a very undesirable area.

I have learned many skills and gained knowledge regarding dentistry.
Placements: After completing the course, students start getting job offers from small private clinics. Many of them apply for house staff positions where they can initially earn around Rs. 50,000 if it is under a government hospital. Many students start their clinics and can earn a decent amount based on the quality of their practice. Other than that, there are multiple government posts for newly graduated dentists, such as in the railways and the army.
Infrastructure: All classrooms and labs have air conditioning and screen projectors for easy and comfortable learning. The pre-clinical labs have phantom heads for students to get used to treating real patients before entering actual clinics. All the clinics are well-equipped with modern technologies to treat patients and help students and interns become familiar with modern treatment methods. The library is always stocked with the latest edition books from various authors, along with computers to access online journals. The food in the canteen is vegetarian and decent in taste. We also have separate gyms for girls and boys.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable in both clinical and theoretical aspects of dentistry. The university syllabus usually gets completed well before the final exams, so we get more time to solve questions and clear our doubts in the remaining classes. The internal exams are a bit more difficult than the final professional examination. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. This course is a beautiful combination of both knowledge and art. Dentistry is not only about treating cavities. It is about restoring the smiles of patients.
