B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2

Good placements and experienced faculty with affordable fees.
Placements: In my course, Mechanical Engineering at LDCE, the placements are quite good. Almost 70% to 80% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA, and the average package is about 5 LPA. Top companies like Reliance, Adani, L&T, and Tata Motors come to our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of LDCE is decent. Since it is a very old government college, the buildings look old, but the Mechanical department has big classrooms and well-equipped labs for practicals. The library is vast and contains almost all the books required for our course. Wi-Fi is available in some areas of the campus. I am a day scholar, but my friends say the hostel is affordable and has basic facilities with an average mess. However, the campus has a big ground for sports, and there are facilities for indoor games too. Overall, the campus life is good and very active.
Faculty: Teachers in the Mechanical Engineering department are highly qualified and very helpful. They have good teaching experience and explain concepts clearly. The course curriculum is designed by GTU and covers all the important technical subjects. It makes us industry-ready to a good extent. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If you attend regular lectures and follow the teacher's notes, you can easily pass. The pass percentage is generally high, around 70-80%, as the faculty guides us well on how to prepare for the final exams.
Other: I chose this college because LDCE is the best government college in Gujarat. The best thing about our college is the technical fests like Lakshya. One thing that could be improved is the old classroom furniture and faster administrative work.

B.E. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Best college, best placement and facilities, and decent infrastructure.
Placements: They give very nice placement, and almost 80 to 90 percent of students get placed every year. Last year, the highest package is 13.5 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Top companies are MICRON, Torrent Power, L&T, Infosys, etc. Almost 99 percent of the students get internship from the Electrical Engineering course. Top roles offered are power systems engineers, control/automation engineers, and renewable energy specialists.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, and facilities are very good. There are Wi-Fi and every equipment in the lab. Hostel is also pretty good, quality of food in the mess and canteen is very good. For sports, there are also many facilities provided, and medical facilities are also good; there is a doctor available.
Faculty: Faculty are very good, many are from IIT, and very friendly. As Electrical Engineering is a little bit tough compared to other courses, around 70-80 percent of students pass every time. Exams are a little bit tough, but if you work, you can easily pass it.
Other: I choose this course because this is an evergreen field. Best thing is, you need Electrical Engineers in future, and events, camps, connectivity, scholarship, all things are good and available.

This college gives us the best placements.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 28 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Micron, etc., visit the college for placements in the IT department. Top roles like full-stack developer, mobile app developer, data analyst, etc., are offered here.
Infrastructure: BSNL Wi-Fi connections are available in labs. The library is not very big. The library is average with an AC facility. There is a bad infrastructure in the hostel and other buildings. Mess, bathrooms, security, and daily cleaning facilities are available in the hostel. The infrastructure is so bad, but girls' hostel is very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant. Especially, the GTU syllabus is not making the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too tough, but average. Some subject papers are so difficult, but some are too easy.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer.

I am absolutely satisfied with the good placements in 2024.
Placements: In my college, in my branch, around 90–95% of students get placed. The minimum placement package is around 6 LPA. Many companies offer jobs in my course, such as Torrent Power, Adani Solar Power, government companies, Tata Motors, etc.
Infrastructure: My college has smart classrooms and a library. Wi-Fi is available for studying, and labs are provided for BME and Physics. The college has water filters for good quality water, a good canteen, and a good hostel mess.
Faculty: In my college, all faculty members are very helpful with subject-related doubts and projects. Faculty also guides us for company work and helps us become good employees. The semester exams are well-structured and difficult, and the passing marks are 23 out of 70. Faculty is also very good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in electrical work, such as wiring. I love my course. The college organizes many events and fests.

Good college for the mechanical engineering course. There is a 100% placement ratio.
Placements: 100% of students from the mechanical engineering course got placed in L D College of Engineering. The highest package ranges from 21-22 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T, Suzuki, etc., hire students. All students get internships in my course. I don't know about roles offered to students.
Infrastructure: There is a network issue. Wi-Fi is not so powerful. Wi-Fi is password-protected, so we need to adjust this thing. The hostel facility is not so good, as I saw the hostel building and also got a reference from hostel boys. The canteen and mess are not as good as we expected.
Faculty: In several situations, our teachers help us in a very friendly way. Exams are not so difficult. If we just read and give exams, then we can pass exams easily, as they are not too difficult for any student. The college provides good teaching in the mechanical engineering course.

Ahmedabads best college L. D.
Placements: All Students who are interested in placement are placed but according to company criteria. LD College placement is excellent because 95 percent of students get placement. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. Top placement companies like L&T, Torrent Power, Adani Reliance, GNFC etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are moderate because it is a government college. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library etc. Excellent. Medium quality of the hostel facilities. Good quality of food is available in the mess but not in the canteen. My college also provides medical facilities, sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful to students. They are highly qualified. Their knowledge is excellent. One of the best teaching qualities. In my course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industrially ready. Not very difficult the semester exam but gtu exam is difficult.
