Nirma University is a good private college.
Placements: Approximately, we have 80 students in one class, and two such classes. Placements are getting better year by year. The highest package in the ECE stream is approximately 53 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, NVIDIA, Amazon, Adani, etc.
Infrastructure: All rooms are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi facility is available for free. There is proper parking space, and the campus is surrounded by greenery. The canteen is affordable, hygienic, and offers the best food. There are four canteens K canteen, Pharma canteen, Law canteen, and MBA canteen and all of them are excellent. Labs are also well-equipped and among the best. The college has the best infrastructure and a peaceful environment without any stress.
Faculty: There are three exams one is a unit test, one is a mid-semester exam, and one is an end-semester exam. All exams are quite easy, so there is no need to worry. The first year is easy, but the succeeding years become more difficult. Overall, the university has good faculty members not the best, but definitely not the worst.
Other: The culture and fests are also good.

I am satisfied and happy with campus life and various events that build my career at par it's limit.
Placements: The highest package in the technology department is from our department, somewhere around 83 LPA. The median package is between 8 LPA to 11 LPA. Many companies come to train and fascinate students to become part of their organization. The university also has a policy of social services to make students aware of social issues.
Infrastructure: The hostel is for PG students for boys and girls, and a hostel is also available for B.Tech students. The campus functions with Wi-Fi, labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and three libraries, and it is open to every student. Even students from other institutes can become part of events organized by various clubs at Nirma University.
Faculty: The faculty and alumni are just too much cooperative and liberal, helping and guiding students in every situation. Semester exams are also logic-based, not just lies from books.. The overall course design aims to make students outstanding in their respective fields as well as in their interest fields.
Other: I am from the ECE department, first year, 24-28 batch. I experience the first semester, and it is just fabulous.

The attendance policy is a headache, but there are good placements and a very good campus.
Placements: The college claims 95% placements of students, but faculty members claim that 100% placement is there. The highest package of my college is 35 Lacs in my branch and the average package is 8 Lacs in my branch. Top recruiting companies in my branch are Google and off-campus placements are there for internships. The top roles offered in my course are chip engineering, VLSI designing, and PCB making.
Infrastructure: It is a well-organized campus with Wi-Fi-enabled labs and classrooms, a 5-floor library which was recently built, and the facility is very well. AC classrooms are there, and 80-seat classrooms are there. The quality of food and mats in the canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games are very good. A sports complex is built and the food quality is good. Hostel is hard to get, but only for outside Ahmedabad, not for locals.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very good. They ensure that every student understands the concept, and the course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the student industry-ready and also makes the student ready for any challenge in life. The semester exams are very tough, and the pass percentage is 40%, and it is very tough to score very good marks in the exam. The marking scheme is very complex.
Other: I did choose this course because I want to become a chip designing engineer, and I want to learn robotics. I wish that the attendance policy of the college could be improved. There are many technical clubs and cultural clubs on the campus. Many cultural activities and extracurricular activities take place. Many trips to villages took place for social internships.

The college is quite good providing best placements, infrastructure and good faculty members.
Placements: Around 92% of the students were placed from the batch 2024 in my course which is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The highest package offered was around 44 LPA and the average package was around 8.5 LPA and the lowest package was around 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Qualcomm, Microns and many others which come in, especially for the core jobs. The University provides an opportunity where they bring companies to you if you want to do internships. Around 70% students opt for internships in companies like Oracle, ISRO, etc. Top roles offered are in VLSI designing, coding skills, and embedded systems.
Infrastructure: The campus is very big being spread across 120 acres. The campus is full of greenary. It is one of the best campuses of India. The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, libraries with thousands of books along with big and spacious classrooms. The classroom’s strength is of 80 students. As I am a local, so I don't have the idea about hostels. The food which is served in the canteens is quite good. There are 3 canteens in the campus. There are also medical facilities available with an ambulance which is only dedicated for the students, in case they face any health problem, to contact with the doctors. There is a big ground or you can say a stadium for cricket which is recently renovated. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and the University provides many opportunities to excel in sports.
Faculty: The teachers are always helpful, you may approach them at any time within the college in their cabins if you have any queries, and even after the college, you can clarify anything through mails and you will get a response within 24 hours. The quality of the faculty members is quite good, most of the faculty members are degree holders from Nirma while some have a Ph.D. degree as well. They have a very good educational background. They educate us in a manner which makes the concepts easily understandable. The curriculum is relevant, it helps to learn new things and makes us become industry ready. We study practical things more than theories, which makes us industry ready for the future. The difficulty of the semester exams is 8/10. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I was very passionate about this course so I opted for it. The best thing about my course is that this field is going to boom in the upcoming years. Nirma University has an 85% attendance criteria which is quite disgusting as you have to attend the lectures for long hours everyday. You would not get time to learn new things or focus on any extra curricular activities.

Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, big labs which contains all components A big library and good classrooms Canteens food is very good and not to costly Health center available There is two grounds one for cricket and another for the football there is badminton court, gym and a good mess also.
Faculty: Many teachers are from IIT and nits and some are Ph.D. also Course curriculum is very relevant to the industry requirement Sem end exam is moderate lavel to average it contains more practical knowledge than theoretical It contains high amount of logic in the exam.
Other: I was interested in this course. This course has both side exposure in hardware base and software base It should contains some basic knowledge about programming languages like c+ etc. Events are done very well Connectivity is around 10 - 15 km for the airport and railway stand.

A Comprehensive Review of Nirma University.
Placements: Almost 95% students were placed in my course. The highest package was around 24LPA, the lowest package around 5.4LPA and average package around 7LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, TCS, infosys. Almost 85% students got internship. Top roles offered Network Planning engineer, service engineer, Software analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our department is very well built and modern. There are various equipments and the labs are designed in such a way that all the components are available and easy to use after understanding Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, Classrooms have AC, Smartboards and Blackboards The quality d the facilities in the hostel are very good and the food is also hygienic and the mess and canteen operates well and provide all the meals. The sports facilities are also great and all equipments are provided by the college after the afternoon.
Faculty: The teachers are very strict and helpful and are qualified, each faculty have a Ph.D. degree and the teaching quality is also good so students can understand easily. The course curriculum is also upgraded and follows the latest industry standards and make the students industry ready. The semester exams are difficult and need a thorough understanding of the subject to pass the exams. The pass percentage is almost 75-80%.

Decent academic records.
Placements: The average package of EC department is around 8lpa and the highest in core company on campus was around 24lpa and off campus was like 42lpa around. Recently one of my friend in 3rd year in EC department only has got an internship in Amazon. So we can say institute has a decent placement scenario.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university is good. There are different blocks/buildings for different departments. In sports, there is a quite good cricket ground but with no flood lights and synthetic basketball, volleyball and tennis courts 2 each (these have night lights). Also 2 outdoor badminton courts. Talking about hostels, here hostels are less in number as compared to university students so not everyone gets hostel here. And priority for hostels is given to girls then 1st year boys if vacancy is there. And else if not in hostel students reside in pgs and outside pvt hostels near the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are good most of them are Ph.D. graduates from good colleges. Curriculum is bit harsh as we have to strictly maintain attendance above 85% which is no doubt a big percentage. There are three exams you can say which takes place in one sem I. e class tests, sessional, semester end+practical exams.
Other: There are many tech and non-tech clubs which are active through out the time. Tech clubs take part in different national and international competitions and also has achieved awards their in the past.

Our college provides very good infrastructure and crowd.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Big recruiting MNCs are Microsoft, Tata, Reliance, Flipkart, etc. Around 80% of students get internships in various companies.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not available for boys except for MBA students but H4 and H2 hostels are provided for boys after construction. H4 hostel is provided for girls. The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. Mess is available for hostelers and day scholars. Medical facility is provided for any checkup. There are various sports facilities such as table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well-qualified. The quality of teaching is very high. The course curriculum is relevant and updated. It makes students industry ready. Semester exams are averagely difficult though the majority of students pass with good grades.
Other: Our college comes under Nirma University which offers ILNU Law, IPNU pharmacy, ICNU commerce, IMNU management, IDNU design, and IAPNU architecture and planning. Many fests and events are organised on campus. The connectivity of the campus with the main city is average though the campus is not far from the main city.

So, the admission in Nirma University is very difficult, but if you don’t get it you should surely try PDPU. It has very high scope. It also depends on your marks and your undergraduate course such as mechanical civil chemical etc.
